The reason behind this is easy, Money. Tickets and fines = Money for the city Taking advantage of elderly and uninformed people is their specialty. By not calling they can skip the step of "interaction" and go straight to the written ticket/fine so they can get to the money, which is the whole reason for it in the first place.

The whole thing is retarded. Based on the evidence being wrong alone the thing is invalid. They can cite your grandpa because it is his property, it doesn't have to be his business. Since visiting someone in a work vehicle isn't illegal that part of the case would be thrown out even if you were to fight it. You may be able to represent your grandpa and just say, their evidence is not your property and therefore the citation is invalid, that should be the end of that citation, but you would still need permission to store the dumpsters there separately.

Best way to waste your time

Full-size roll-off services always seem to be a better choice. We always respect the hard-fill line. Then we pack them to the top. Never had a complaint from the roll-off service or a driver. These trailer roll-offs are always delicate. I do see quite a few general contractors buying these lately and doing their own job clean-up. Nice excavator.

I’d just use a 20 ton jack for the trailer, if it was empty than I’d lift it like this, I do it this way with my tilt deck gooseneck

I’m looking at getting into the dumpsters, I’m definitely considering starting out at CDL weight with a 18k trailer than having a custom done concrete/dirt container, just for stuff like this, so they can’t load it way over etc. not many people doing the concrete over here. I know alot of landscapers who do whole patios etc and would be a goto especially for them

You only need a $200 + 1/2 impact lol. I got one. Non of my normal drills would lift it off my ball even with freshly lubed deal. Not the parts fault. Just need a super heavy duty drill…

Back in the early 90s, I pulled a UPS trailer and it had air motors to run the landing gear. Very cool. For a long haul truck driver that would require a power inverter. Still a nice piece of equipment

You need smaller dumpsters for hard fill, rocks and concreat etc. So it is impossible to be overloaded.
