    Conditions like this are not ideal and can be downright dangerous. It was freezing cold outside, supposedly -14 degrees and dropping!
    We couldn't let that stop us from getting our work done. So, we bundled up and headed to the shop to do some truck maintenance. Let me tell you, despite being indoors, that shop was like an icebox! It at least shielded the wind and allowed us to tackle a couple of overdue projects indoors.
    My brother also fought his battles in business, as several more delivery trucks needed to be recovered from the snow-covered roads. He was tired of waiting for expensive tow rigs to mosey on over to do the work, so he sent me in a pinch.
    After all that, we had this massive junk removal job in between our normal dumpster business operations. And let me tell you, it was a good thing we did it in the cold. Why? Well, because there was this sharp smell coming from all the junk we had to clear out. We powered through it and managed to stay under budget and under the estimated timeline.
    I gotta say, it was a challenging couple of days to just stay motivated. But in the end, it could always be way worse.

    You could put that furniture on the curb with a sign saying free and people around my area will take it within 30 minutes.

      Normally here, too. But not much of this furniture would have been wanted. For sure

      Same here…I almost always have free stuff out on the corner…people love it. I get thanks, and a few complaints, but it’s better than burying it!

      I understand where you're coming from and that's what I anticipated. But I'm Not sure what you're worked up about. The dude literally offered to do it without me asking. I had no intentions of doing it inside and obviously wish I wouldn't have taken him up on it.

    NO to the harbor freight welder. They are garbage and no matter what you do, they sputter. If you want good quality for your buck... Hobart Welders. They are indestructible too... Former welding company I worked for used the 140 mig welders on field jobs. They would beat the heck out of them and they still put down great beads.

    • @rollingops
      @rollingops  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Close, but we charged a bit more. Mostly due to distance from landfill and a little more man Hours

    You should think about framing out a small area in your shop for an "office/break room" that you can easily heat/cool for cheap. Would be nice to have a climate controlled area.

      That's only a small spot of his shop He's got a whole another part of the building. And I'm pretty sure he's got an office in there

    Can you do a video on the different generation dodge and the weight they can comfortably tow and stop.
    I have heard many people say 2nd gen ( 2500 and 3500) do not do well over 9500 pounds total weight trailer and pay load and 2014 and up are good for to 14000#.

    • @chris-h6980
      @chris-h6980 Před 7 měsíci +1

      Almost any of your dodges 3/4 or even one ton trucks are going to be able to handle the 14,000 lb pretty respectively especially if they got to Cummins

    What size of units are putting in? I bought a old national guard armory building that is about 17,000 square. Just but my first 9 outside units then I’ll have about 60 indoor units.
