Generally i dont think Zlatan is dirty in the sense of having any malicious intent to seriously hurt an opposing player. But he uses alot of dirty tricks to get into the heads of his opposing defenders and get some sort of reaction from them. He is the kinda player you hate to play against, but love having on your team!

Maybe this comes from my growing up in American football atmosphere, but I can't help but appreciate how Ibra (a striker) can take all the physical abuses handed to him by defenders (that's part of their jobs) and still score so many goals...acrobatic ones. He take abuse after abuse after abuse, and then he will reciprocate and smile about it. He gets bad raps because he follows through forward after contact, which as a die-hard Redskins fan I appreciate. Big defenders cannot keep up with him because they lack his speed, while smaller defenders cannot match his physicality. One more big thing about his game: he does NOT flop, which Messi and Neymar have made into an art form.
Imagine a hulking NFL offensive lineman who can sprint, tap dance, do gymnastic double-flips...hard to find.
Also imagine a running back who is willing to punish a linebacker, whose job it is to punish that said running back.
