      And those "real refs" continue to blow game after game. The replacements screwed over one game in the weeks they were here while the actual officials screw multiple games a week. Bring the replacements back and give them an off season of training.

      When people tell me the NFL is rigged I tend to shrug it off. When I see something like that first play it makes you wonder. Maybe it's not rigged as a whole. But sometimes somebody is pulling some strings. To review that play in slow motion and still call it the way they did is crazy as hell. Same as that pass interference that kept the saints out of the superbowl a few years back. Blatant in your face missed call.

    You guys are forgetting for the first one, those were replacement refs. I remember during that stretch of replacement refs i saw some of the most horrible calls I’ve ever seen. Refs were on strike if I’m not mistaken.

    I've been what I would best term an "avid" sports fan since I was probably 7 or 8. I'm 43 now. I've watched thousands of hours of sports, and gambled well over 200K on sports. I mention the gambling simply to pound home the amount of sports I've watched. I have NEVER, EVER witnessed ANYTHING like that Klay Thompson 3rd quarter. I bet I've watched that 3rd quarter...three dozen times, since it happened. It was other worldly. The crowd getting more and more crazy after every made basket, it's just a spectacular scene. Hands down the most amazing thing I've ever been so lucky to witness, in sports.

      By rule it was a touchdown since Jennings caught the ball but never touched the ground till after tate grabbed the ball thus making it a simultaneous catch and since both offensive and defensive players landed in bounds it is an offense catch

      @@RageSkyze- it's not a simultaneous catch if Jennings caught it first. Regardless of who lands first, the offensive player doesn't inexplicably get the score because he never had possession. He never had possession all the way to the ground. Jennings did. It was not a catch. It was an interception. This is widely accepted, otherwise they would not have brought real refs back.

      @@Horible4 okay you cant have possession of the ball until you touch the ground tate grabbed onto the ball before Jennings touched the ground and both players had possession when both players hit the ground and since both players landed in bounds it is an offense catch by NFL rule the reason the refs were replaced in the first place was because of a dispute between the NFL referees association and the NFL, so once it got resolved the original refs came back

      T Paul Allen is the broadcaster. He’s had some legendary calls. Favre’s touchdown to Greg Lewis. The Minneapolis Miracle. Adrian Peterson Is Loose. Even in the bad moments, the 2010 NFC championship Game, Blair Walsh Wide Left, the Heartbreak in Arizona, he’s one of the most entertaining broadcasters to listen to. He celebrates football greatness whether it’s the Vikings or not, and the energy he brings is unreal.

      Context: The saints were down by 7 with the quarter almost over, and on 3rd down they successfully did a lateral (which like never happens lol) and the kicker had only missed one kick in his entire career, and after one of the rarest plays ever to happen, the kicker missed the kick by a lot.       Ex-fan here. To explain something to people who don't know, for a long time, Bears had one reliable position-- their kicker, Robbie Gould. He was cut during (another) mediocre year. A team with traditionally poor offensive line and no idea what a good QB is, decides to "fix" a kicking problem that doesn't exist. The city sucks and so do the owners. At least they're moving out of the city, it's just a dead sack organization.
