@@KYeung-be4lw I'm actually trying it out with the likes of Doom and Storm but I think Alioth is pretty much a must since you get so much priority that Alioth makes it a lot easier to hit.
There's also an argument for including Omega Red since you gain a lot of power with the Guardians.
Captain Marvel used to be my favorite card in the game. I am so glad that she is back!!
Really want the guardians playstyle to work because they’re some of the most fun I’ve had when you guess right, but I haven’t played as well

Cerebro 5 definitely got some new toys. Adam is likely not one of them.
Yeah, Doom is for sure your strongest card and I much rather include Pmega Red rather than AW.
I certainly did not dxpect them to create an "asymmetry" in Thanos by making Mind Stone 2-cost.
No amount of changing power or cost is going to fix Warlock. If they want to make him playable, they need to just change his effect
Hard disagree- if this costs zero i’m putting it in at least 10% of my decks

The biggest thing that kills my enjoyment of Snap is playing against the same decks over and over. Any changes that let me see less discard and especially Thanos are good imo
Spreading the gardians around in the last turns securing locations and even adding ms marvel feels great since the buff .
Love the thanos copter in the thumbnail, nice touch by the editor
i wonder if they should consider removing the draw of thanos stones entirely, makes them 1/2, and give thanos abilities base on which stones are played, like "thanos cost 5 if timestone in play" or "thanos cant be destroy if soul stone is in play"
Breaking the trend of same cost stones seems like an ugly solution.
Having six equally costed, varied AND balanced tools in your deck might've been an overdose of Copium from the start.

Made a deck last week that uses Daredevil and a bunch of those board control cards to increase The Guardians ability to trigger. Was a fun time, but somewhat weak. Looking forward to checking them out with these buffs.
Discard finally is propelled from mid game to meta and they pull this Apoc crap. Discard is very strong right now, but it ain't OP.
Rocket Raccoon could go in Cerebro 5 too. Playing RR on turn 4 or 5 to increase chance of triggering. Probably better options though.

I've been playing some Guardians lockout and it's been pretty fun. Not the most powerful, but enough to feel capable.
Why would I pay 5 to draw a card when I can pay 2 to draw 2?

The Thanos package is still insanely efficient - time stone is a better high evo’d shocker, reality stone is a scarlet witch with cycle, soul stone is a mini one sided swamp thing. It’s a free toolbox that still mostly replaces itself

Im scared. Gamora and Rocket are now a 17 point play on turn 6. In a lockout deck this may be guaranteed.
I'll wait to fully pass judgement, but I don't think this was quite enough to dethrone Thanos. It's definitely less consistent, but with so many new tools like Cull Obsidian, Caiera, Hope Summers, and Mockingbird since the start of the year, I think it'll take some further work to bring him down to level with everyone else. Specifically getting a 0/9 on the same turn as Professor X and effectively 4-5 other ways to ramp throughout the game, the Mad Titan may need another pass to bring him in line.
Some people will see a nerf and just stop playing Thanos, even if it is not much weaker.

Without having to watch even 1 second of this video - No, no Thanos is FAR from over. Still THE top meta deck and will continue to be a part of the meta until more of the hinted changes are introduced to this deck.
Part of the problem with thanos is people don’t actually need to play his card… I think all stones should have 0 power and then get boosted when you play him.
Psylocke has literally been my most played card since I got her I was so surprised that they buffed her in the first place I'm glad to see her back at 2/1. +1 energy is busted

Veyr happy Thanos is getting hit. Sucks that psylocke is getting nerfed only because of Thanos but it is what it is I guess. Just got a new Starlord variant so excited to try it.

The thanos changes don't seem like they've changed too much, which does make sense since its a stopgap measure but still disappointing. I feel like they should just take the draw off of space stone and reality stone so those cards have an actual downside. Thanos' downside should be a lack of consistency but you get so much free draw right now that it barely matters.
Many folks on Reddit asked for a Thanos buff instead of a nerf. Just be thankful they nerfed him at all

Rework - probably never. Rebalancing it is long overdue tho, and I myself believe that they know it and are waiting for the new Cap appearence in the MCU to buff him - we have seen the same with spider move decks, nick fury etc
C5, Jean Grey/Guardians buff, and the Thanos Nerf is about to make a huge meta shift happen. Capt. Marvel coming back too

@@joseph2000117 They can just make soul stone an on reveal to -1 power from one or two cards at that location so it keeps it flavour text but doesn't completely shut down a whole deck archtype in the lane it's played.

As someone without Corvus or proxima, the apocalypse nerf really sucks for me, since I enjoy using the og apoc discard. Sucks I couldn’t play it with corvus or proxima, but now apoc being nerfed, my deck is hit even harder. Thanks second dinner!!! You could’ve just needed Corvus/proxima…
I think these changes are great overall but pretty annoyed I have to discard apoc 3 times now just to be maybe bigger than blob, but probably not
Warlock still unplayable. Thanos will still be good - just knocked down some consistency with soul stone. The Psylocke -1 stat won’t be noticeable
Warlock and ghost need a rework in my opinion
I am pretty happy with Ghost when the meta allows.
