What her & juice caused, you can’t come back from that, period. Don’t care what her reasoning was.
There is a page that lists the characters with the highest body counts. Gemma tops the list when you add up the deaths she is directly and indirectly responsible for.
Hunnam, Rossi, and Smits brought their absolute acting A-game in this episode. So many incredible scenes in just this episode alone. Most people will point to Juice’s confession as the best scene in this episode but I personally love the ending scene between Jax and Nero more.
I've totally enjoyed yalls reactions throughput the show Jax and Nero scenes during the episodes so amazing should have won some kind of award for their performance
During an interview with Vanity Fair, Charlie Hunnam revealed the scene with Juice was one take and the first time they recorded it both actors felt like they were the characters in real time. Peter Weller (Baroskys actor who directed this episode) said that it was one of the best things he seen acted out and said they weren’t shooting another take. Unfortunately the camera had a malfunction so they had to shoot the ENTIRE scene again, and everyone on set admitted it wasn’t as good as the first take. So there is a version of that scene that is apparently way better than the already emotional scene in the Final Cut that we’ll never get to view
Steven: "Gemma needs to - end" Instantly in my brain: "Gemma gonna Gemma no more - soon!"😂 Btw, the absolute loyalty Gemma managed to manipulate out of people was off the charts. (Unfortunately, I've known a couple of people in my life just about as 'talented' in that regard as her character)
This is infuriating that, although Gemma is basically the main villain of this season, they still try to make us feel empathy for her, just cuz the actress is the realisator's wife. Seriously, who thought "oh no, I hope she's not gonna get caught!"? Nobody obviously, but this is almost as if they wanted us to think that.
One thing to remember, assuming you're not aware already, is that Unser is and always has been in love with Gemma. She won't give him the time of day but he'd never intentionally roll over on her. Even if he did put all the pieces together after talking to Juice he'd never say anything to the Department.
0:23 I personally had anxiety at the ending of the show. I had come to love it and the story so much, I couldn't stand to let it go. These last few episodes remain tainted in my memory by the bitterness of knowing I was watching it all end.
Charlie explained that he did the scene with Juice to perfection, sobbing, giving it all, the best performance of his career, and then the camera guy said "sorry guys, I wasn't recording, we need to do it all over again". And that is the take they put in the show.
It’s scenarios like these that make me miss Opie even more, I would’ve KILLED to see Opie comforting Jax or calming him, but Nero being there was a great alternative 😭
The Jax & Juice scene was actually a second take. Charlie Hunnam said the first take was one of the most moving performances he had ever did. The episode director(Peter Weller) said "That was the greatest thing I ever seen! That's a wrap!".............but it turned out...........no camera's were rolling. Hunnam said that what we saw "wasn't as good" as that first take. Justa behind the scene's tidbit.
Of all the evil sh*t Gemma has done, giving able that ring and telling him “this is for when you become a member” putting that in his head at that age… he will grow up follow up on that and he will know and be cursed to this life of chaos, which makes her giving him that ring and putting that into his head the most sinister thing she’s done in my opinion.
Charlie does an interview where he breaks down the scene with his character and Juice, and it is super interesting! He talked about how hard he crushed it in the first take but they forgot to press record so this was his like second take or something.
When Nero started jumping up and down in the street talking to Gemma I felt bad for him. It hurts finding out someone you love isn't who you thought they were.
The last 4 episodes of this season are crazy! Also, I love the way Jax's eyes look when he is talking to Juice. Did Juice and Gemma basically indirectly get Bobby killed? Gemma, you better get a juggernaut suit and minigun to defend yourself from Jax.
OMG you're so close to the end!!! Yes it's so 🤬too good of a show! I hope you also check out The Bear. Another AMAZING show! Or are you guys going to watch The Mayans next? 😎
This whole scenario and storyline is such a tragic one, 😢 and it’s so sad having to face the reality of what someone you loved and cared about has done along with what you have done because of the lies that were told just such a tragic story line. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed y’all’s reaction to this and hopefully maybe I can watch your reactions to other videos that I’m interested in as well. y’all take care be safe🫶🏻🤠.
Although the scene with Jax and Juice is amazing and tragic, the scene where Jax breaks down to Nero is just...heartbreaking bc its the closest they've been and it's also when Nero bc Jax's father role and kind of held him together temporarily.
No, Gemma needs better self-control. I spent a weekend in jail (plus got a year of probation, had to get counseling for my anger issues, and had to do like 70 hours of community service) for attacking someone. My family, friends, the police, the judge, and the person I report to for probation all told me I should've had better self-control. It was all on me. The person that triggered me wasn't to blame. I had to listen to that lecture for a whole year. Well, everyone still took my side in the situation and I was still considered the "good" guy in the situation, but I should've approached stuff differently. Or just not done anything. So with that, Unser did nothing wrong. It's all on Gemma and her lack of self-control.
Unser goading Jax into hitting him and pressing charges was his way of 1. Helping Gemma get some distance and 2. Helping Jax buy putting in him in the tank to give him time to think. He knew what happened and why Jax was so pissed. It really was his way of helping because he loves both so much.

Hunnam, Rossi, and Smits brought their absolute acting A-game in this episode. So many incredible scenes in just this episode alone. Most people will point to Juice’s confession as the best scene in this episode but I personally love the ending scene between Jax and Nero more.
This has been an amazing ride! I’m so ready for the finale but I’m so upset it’s almost over.
Only cure will be them watching The Shield.
Incredible episode and incredible acting during that Jax and Juice scene.
This was one of the most emotional episodes! Juice and Jax, and then Nero finding out! Brutal!😢😢
I wasn't expecting this today, but really needed it. Thank you NIkki and Steven for making my day.
Thank you for being here watching with us
I've totally enjoyed yalls reactions throughput the show Jax and Nero scenes during the episodes so amazing should have won some kind of award for their performance
Steven: "Gemma needs to - end" Instantly in my brain: "Gemma gonna Gemma no more - soon!"😂
Btw, the absolute loyalty Gemma managed to manipulate out of people was off the charts. (Unfortunately, I've known a couple of people in my life just about as 'talented' in that regard as her character)
“Gemma knows every truth, behind every lie, inside every secret.. She’s the gatekeeper”
Dope ass line by Juice
Gemma knows the truth about everything. Gemma knows every truth behind every lie inside every secret. She's the gatekeeper.
Gemma in a nutshell.
Chuckle and Unser never stopped protecting Gemma. They truly loved her..
You know it's serious when Jax tells you to put pants on instead of just shooting you 😅
This is infuriating that, although Gemma is basically the main villain of this season, they still try to make us feel empathy for her, just cuz the actress is the realisator's wife. Seriously, who thought "oh no, I hope she's not gonna get caught!"? Nobody obviously, but this is almost as if they wanted us to think that.
The kid that played Abel is amazing for such a young age.
Gemma is a black widow spider personified. KS did an absolutely incredible portrayal of her. 💐❤💔
By way of search, I have watched everyone that has ever reacted to SOA and I'm going to miss Nikki and Steven 😢😢
One thing to remember, assuming you're not aware already, is that Unser is and always has been in love with Gemma. She won't give him the time of day but he'd never intentionally roll over on her. Even if he did put all the pieces together after talking to Juice he'd never say anything to the Department.
the name of this series is ESCAlATION in my book…
I think it encapsulates this whole story in one word perfectly...
What's that mean?
The best part of this episode is watching that tear naturally develop in Charlie's eye over the course of that scene.
The absolute impeccable acting in this episode is unmatched 😢😢
Also, I'm not ready for this journey to be over 😱
0:23 I personally had anxiety at the ending of the show.
I love you guys and you are absolutely unprepared for these last 2 episodes. Rewatching this show with you guys has shattered my heart all over again
Keep dropping them quick! Ready to see y’all react to the last two 😊
It’s scenarios like these that make me miss Opie even more, I would’ve KILLED to see Opie comforting Jax or calming him, but Nero being there was a great alternative 😭
Nah. Mopie would've spun stuff to be all about him and bringing up his personal life issues that need to be fixed.
The acting in this episode by everyone is top notch. Probably the best of the series.
thanks for including the last episodes here on YT!
That desperate plea from nero always strikes me hard man.
When Nero started jumping up and down in the street talking to Gemma I felt bad for him. It hurts finding out someone you love isn't who you thought they were.
Gemma gonna Gemma she just has to try and destroy Able by giving him a Sons ring
Love y’all Nikki and Steven! Will definitely miss your reactions to SOA. But we still got 2 more to go. ♥️
The last 4 episodes of this season are crazy! Also, I love the way Jax's eyes look when he is talking to Juice. Did Juice and Gemma basically indirectly get Bobby killed? Gemma, you better get a juggernaut suit and minigun to defend yourself from Jax.
I love watching you both and your reactions. This series is one I rewatch once every year because I have to.
Ooooooooooo snap here we go.....
his acting in this ep is so good, the ending scene hits me right in the feels. also poor juice...
OMG you're so close to the end!!! Yes it's so 🤬too good of a show! I hope you also check out The Bear. Another AMAZING show! Or are you guys going to watch The Mayans next? 😎
Charlie was incredible in this episode as always but this episode hits different
Jax: "Our boys"
Me: 😭😭😭😭
This whole scenario and storyline is such a tragic one, 😢 and it’s so sad having to face the reality of what someone you loved and cared about has done along with what you have done because of the lies that were told just such a tragic story line. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed y’all’s reaction to this and hopefully maybe I can watch your reactions to other videos that I’m interested in as well. y’all take care be safe🫶🏻🤠.
Although the scene with Jax and Juice is amazing and tragic, the scene where Jax breaks down to Nero is just...heartbreaking bc its the closest they've been and it's also when Nero bc Jax's father role and kind of held him together temporarily.
that man was the ONLY DAD Jax ever had.
If Unser only didn't keep telling Gemma club secrets, Tara wouldn't have died.
Jax and Juice scene is so good! But now I can't wait for your Peaky Blinders reactions 😍
Many series screw up the ending, even if it's planned ahead; they just don't tie things up properly. SoS does it right.
Unser goading Jax into hitting him and pressing charges was his way of 1. Helping Gemma get some distance and 2. Helping Jax buy putting in him in the tank to give him time to think. He knew what happened and why Jax was so pissed. It really was his way of helping because he loves both so much.
He didn't know it was Gemma at that point
Did everyone notice Gemma punched Chucky with her right hand and Chucky was then over the sink bleeding from the other side of his lip 😂😂
I love watching this with you guys it's an awesome show
