I grew up in this life. Been wearing a patch for most of my adult life. And while I watched this show from a very different perspective than you do, I have thoroughly enjoyed your reactions to it. Your conclusions, in the scope of this fictitious show, have been pretty good, with a couple of small exceptions. As far as the scene where Juice tries to trade info for a trip to Mexico, many clubs, not all, but many, would have taken that deal, regardless of any "code" between clubs, just to fuck over a rival club. I won't go into the other one here because I don't wanna ruin the show for you. I'm looking forward to seeing you finish this out.
I love Nero. He became one of my favorite characters. But the one thing that annoyed me was his reaction to Juice - Juice was sincerely sorry for killing the mother of the kid who shot up the school and he expressed that more than once. But Nero wouldn't offer him an ounce of forgiveness, whereas he forgave Jax, who was actually the one who gave the order. Juice was just following that order, an order he hadn't wanted to follow and the guilt of doing so ate him alive.

It took me a minute to get use to Maryln Manson as a shot caller for the AB. But despite his strange persona he does a good job. Jimmy Smitts. "Nero" is spot on as a Chicano gangster. You have to remember that he is a Puerto Rican from Brooklyn, New York who has never played a character like this. I compare Smitts' role to Stephen Graham's role playing a New York Italian in the Irishman or AL Capone in Boardwalk Empire. Graham being from Liverpool and all. Sons has some of the best acting in any series , including the Sopranos. The surprises and gut hitting action from the beginning to keep viewers wanting more.
Loving your work and even though I'm only a new subscriber I am addicted haha.. I have binge watched so much content over the last month and loving it. All I have to say about this season is be prepared for a lot of twists and turns that are unexpected.. Can't wait for you to start Mayans Mc. Keep up the awesome work
Nero is such a damaged character. it really shows how much Cancer Gemma and Jax really are. I feel sorry for Him honestly.

No offense but if you want to watch an actual masterpiece of a show watch THE SOPRANOS. It makes this show look cheesy as fuck. Sons of anarchy only exists because of sopranos. This show isn't that deep. Trust me
