    I'm doing a livestream this Wednesday where I will show you how I online shop with the keywords in mind. We'll browse online together and just chat about where and how to find things! You can set a reminder and join here: czcams.com/users/liveim3Oc7aq7f0?feature=share

    (still before I knew the name) I thought my Radiant essence is something I am supposed to grow out of to look more professional, serious, adult, etc. Not the case.
    Radiance is such a great way to charm people even (especially?) in a corporate setting. I'm going full on radiant on purpose this year as a tiny personal project and I can't believe my own eyes how this is a perfectly valid way to communicate with everyone from peers to senior management.
    Kind regards
    A verified Illuminatrix

    Loved the distinction between luminous and radiant, really helped me narrow down where I want to be. Once again blown away by what you've been able to capture with this system 💜

    I had been missing these short-format videos from your channel so thank you so much for this. This made me realize that while I'm a ruby, I like the word dreamy and the way I use it is still more anchored to the left afterall. Like, for instance, I associate dreamy-ness with ethereal ideas like "fairy in the forest " aesthetics with soft but earthy colors, soft silk-like or lacey fabrics, flowers, luminosity, etc; and now that I think about it, some of those ideas are still quite sensual and elemental! Which could tie in with your description of each quadrants applying the keywords differently (I hope I'm making sense with this)
    Anyways, this is all just to say that what you've been doing with the style key system is so helpfull and I'm excited to see more videos like this

      Love this comment! I really relate to the left processes, but I was beginning to doubt because I relate to so many more right words. However, I see how I am relating similarly as you are.
      Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

    I realized that my number one priority with Right Essence needs to be refinement. Even a little bit of organic or raw in my outfit and it looks a bit costume-y or trying too hard.
    But I struggle to harmonize this need for refined clothes and accessories with my Soft Natural Kibbe ID because the Natural ID's seemingly need the least amount of refinement out of any ID.

      Okay well I have a little video coming up for SN in each Style Key! Spoiler alert is that I think you can do more of a "preppy" style if you like refinement but just avoid anything too constricting or fussy (I will show some easy examples)

    I like all 4 keywords of the left haha. But I think the most would be “enveloping” and “intrigued” 😊

    hello rita! i’ve been following your style key system for a while and i love it so much. i still don’t know what particular archetype i am but i don’t mind because the quadrants themselves are already very helpful.
    can i ask if pertaining to the “sensual” nature of style involves the visual look of the outfit? does it encompass all 5 of our senses? except for taste, for obvious reasons, unless it includes “sweet” and “spicy” as categories too?
    for example, when i don’t like how the outfit looks on me, i also feel uncomfortable in it. sound is also an interesting one. my sister absolutely despises wearing clothing that makes squeaky noises, like a pu fabric or something. it reminds me of what rian phin, another fashion youtuber said about how wearing heavy platform boots that make heavy thumping sounds make black young men in America feel more seen when they walk in their school hallways. it’s a really interesting concept. i’m not sure if smell would be part of it but using perfume to amplify how you feel in an outfit would make sense too.

      I can’t answer for her but I definitely relate to the way you explain it!! If something looks good but doesn’t feel good I can’t stand it, but if I don’t like what I see (subjectively) even though the outfit is comfortable I also don’t feel good, even if I’m the only one who sees that outfit. That offers no reassurance to me even though being seen by others too would obviously be worse. And I definitely choose scents based on my feelings, both the kind of scent and the intensity. I don’t wear perfume if I’m not feeling bold or energetic enough! I also don’t wear my perfume if I’m feeling unhappy because to me the scent I have is very cheerful and it feels contradictory. If I had a different scent it might be okay but I can’t afford a perfume collection, and besides that it would be unreasonable for someone who doesn’t even wear perfume anytime they feel calm or tired or something like that 😅

    I really like your detailed explanation about the keywords. Now i can really see, that my essence ist RIGHT. I relate the most to the keywords luminous, radiant and the Sun. But I am still not sure if I am up or down 😂. I guess I am up and like my style to be a little more creative, because I have much fantasy inside.
    Thank you for all your percise work, Rita ❤! You are a genius 😃

    Well, this is unexpected. My first instinct was right down, but it seems I might be actually leaning to the left quadrants. I like luminous and dreamy from the right, but also intrigue, sensual, and enveloping from the left 😅

    Would you say that essence is greatly influenced by appearance? For example, if you have a strong bone structure, wild eyebrows, pronounced skin texture, then it will be more difficult for you to make a “Right” essence, because you are generally closer visually to the wild Amazon? Or are personal feelings and desires more important? Now I don’t mean the kibby type, because for example Gal Gadot for FN has a more sophisticated look. She looks more like a decent lady than Emily Ratajkowski and Zoe Kravitz, regardless of the type of kibby

    • @StyleThoughtsbyRita
      @StyleThoughtsbyRita  Před 8 měsíci +2

      I know what you mean and I think it's about how we inhabit our facial features. I can't think of celebrities with this strong bones, eyebrows, skin texture so I'm sorry I don't have immediate examples. But for example I think ingenue features are often described as very refined and doll-like yet there are celebrities with these features who I think have very sensual/intriguing/elemental essence, for example Lily Cole
      In the world of "body determinism", tall and strong bodies are "yang" and should dress in a bold and strong way. But I think there are many real life and celebrity examples of people who have a "yang" body and yet prefer subtle styling and have "delicate" essence. Vice versa i know many women who are physically petite and round but do not have the "Gentle small lady" delicate understated styling
      So I think it's a complex question, because of course features affect the way we are perceived

    I resonate very strongly with sensual & enveloping from the left quadrant but also luminous from the right quandrant. Where does that leave me??

    • @StyleThoughtsbyRita
      @StyleThoughtsbyRita  Před 8 měsíci +2

      I would suggest leaning left then and exploring in that direction. Choose ruby (left Down) or Amethyst (left up) and explore the style logic and the archetypes
      I don't think the keywords are completely exclusive, like of course people with left essence can enjoy light colors and iridescensce... It's just a different feel on you

      @@StyleThoughtsbyRita Thank you!!! I needed to hear that last part. I've found that the Amethyst logic is what resonates the most :)
