  • Everything you need to know about the Burris FastFire™ C red dot sight.
    The trend toward incorporating red dot optics on sub-compact and micro-compact pistols for everyday and concealed carry use continues to expand as more personal defense practitioners recognize the benefits of this precise, on-demand aiming solution. To meet the needs of shooters looking for a red dot option for their EDC handguns, Burris Optics introduces the all-new
    FastFire™ C.
    Building on the company's proven FastFire optics series, the new FastFire C delivers a durable and reliable aiming option ideally suited for today's deep concealment, micro-compact defensive pistols. Weighing less than one ounce and built around a strong, reinforced composite polymer housing similar to that of pistol frames, the FastFire C integrates several features engineered for maximum performance in any defensive situation.
    Powered by a CR2032 battery, the FastFire C utilizes "Always On" technology with a 25,000-hour run time, so the optic is always ready to engage after initial powerup with no additional settings required on the part of the shooter. The Always-On functionality of the FastFire C is powered by a Burris Intelligent Auto-Bright system, which automatically adjusts reticle brightness levels for optimal visibility in any ambient light condition. For those who prefer to set their own brightness level, the FastFire C offers five manual illumination settings.
    Since backup open sights are always a bonus the FastFire C has an exceptionally low profile that allows for absolute or 1/3 co-witness with most standard-height factory open sights. This is a big plus for gun owners because it eliminates the added expense of installing elevated sights to clearance the optic window. Additionally, the FastFire C includes a removeable rear fixed sight, which can be used as a co-witnessing backup or reference point for quick dot alignment. A white, high-visibility stripe on the back of the housing also assists in fast sight alignment and quick dot acquisition.
    The FastFire C uses the popular RMSc footprint as its mounting standard, and the housing's protective lens hood incorporates serrations along the front edge to deliver no-slip performance for aggressive, one-hand slide manipulation. Combined with the ultra-lightweight, shockproof, fog proof, and water-resistant housing construction, the FastFire C is built for the rigors of everyday carry.
    Lastly, the FastFire C boasts an exceptionally clear aspherical glass lens with minimal bluing and field curvature. This promotes a crisp, undistorted reflective surface for the stable, no-flicker 6 MOA red dot reticle.
    Backed by the Burris Forever Warranty, the new FastFire C compact red dot is the answer for those looking for a light, easy-to-use, always ready, and ultra-fast aiming solution for their sub- or micro-compact defensive pistol.

    Where is the battery and how is it accessed? Does the optic have to be removed to replace the battery? Are there alignment pins?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany  Před 7 měsíci +4

      The battery is bottom load. It does have alignment pins. The optic has a battery live of 25,000 hours (just under 3 years) at medium brightness. After 5 hours the optic will default to the auto brightness. If concealed (in the dark), the battery life is 150,000 hours on auto brightness if covered. Hope this helps.

    Do you guys offer one with multiple reticles, like dot, circle and circle with dor?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany  Před měsícem +1

      Currently we do not offer a FastFire C with multiple reticles. We do offer multi reticle options in our FastFire 4, which is a Docter/Noblex style mount.

    Man, you guys almost got everything right with this one…. The only issue, for some people, will be the size of the dot. You should make a 2-3 MOA version available as well.

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Thanks for the feedback. Maybe we will do that in future iterations. For now, it will only be available in a 6 MOA dot.

    • @jonathanrice4181
      @jonathanrice4181 Před 7 měsíci

      The price is bad at all…. I was just saying that 6 moa is a little large for a lot of people. It’s just a preference thing. For concealed carry it should be fine, but a lot of people are stuck in their ways and want a more accurate dot for whatever reason. It’s usually best for sales when you have a large and small option available.

      The MSRP is $276 by the way.
