    Hello, just got the 4-20*50. I am having trouble bore sighting. I have a 300 PRC Xbolt pro with Tally rings. Cabelas said I would need to add a rail with the rings to be able to dial the distance on this rifle. Is there any issues using this scope on a xbolt with just medium rings?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany Před dnem

      Hello, No, we do not recommend adding a canted base. That will affect the inclinometer in the scope. The maximum distance that you can dial is dependent on where your load ends at 33.8 MOA. 33.8 MOA is the limitation on one turn of the Veracity PH dial. I am not sure what height Tally recommend for a 50mm objective. We would generally recommend our High 30mm Signature Zee rings with that scope. Ring heights are not an industry standard so you will find variation for manufacture to manufacturer. If you have further questions please contact our customer service team. customerservice@burrisoptics.com

    Hey Burris I have a 20 moa rail on my rifle. I watched another one of your videos of a of the guy in Africa. He recommended to have a flat rail? Is this a problem? I have just mounted the scope and sighted it in at 100. I have not shot it at distance yet. Thx!

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany Před dnem

      We generally do not recommend canted rails with the PH to get the full performance out of your optic. Using canted rails will effect the inclinometer in your scope. You can use a canted base. However, you need to turn off inclination compensation in the BurrisConnect app and upload the the new data. You will loose inclination compensation doing this.

  • @MrEazyS10
    @MrEazyS10 Před 6 dny

    So I see he loosened the top dial and passed the mechanical stop. So I was hitting the zero and still shooting high and couldn't turn it down. So do I loosen that top up and pass that stop. But if I do that will the top dial not be accurate then?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany Před dnem

      Yes, the dial will be accurate again. You will simply need to set your zero mechanically with your mentioned process. They loosen the zero stop screw again. Turn the turret to zero, tighten the set screw, then reset the zero in the BurrisConnect app.

      Hello, Our mission with the Eliminator scopes is to enhance the ethics of distance shooting for hunters by eliminating the guesswork associated with ballistics. Traditional methods, like grandpa's "Kentucky Windage," often relied on intuition and experience, but modern hunting demands a more precise and informed approach. The Eliminator scope represents a significant advancement in this area, allowing hunters to accurately calculate and account for ballistic variables, thereby making each shot more responsible and effective. Ethical hunting involves more than just having the right equipment; it requires a commitment to precision and respect for the game. By utilizing the Eliminator scope's advanced technology, hunters can make well-informed decisions and minimize the chances of wounding an animal unnecessarily. However, it's crucial to remember that technology alone isn't enough. Hunters must also invest time in practicing at various distances to ensure proficiency with their equipment. Uploading your firearm's data into the Eliminator scope is just the beginning. To uphold ethical standards, you must regularly practice at the ranges you plan to hunt, refining your skills and familiarizing yourself with your scope's capabilities. This practice ensures that every shot is well-placed, contributing to a humane and respectful hunting experience. In summary, the Eliminator scope is a powerful tool for modern hunters who are dedicated to ethical practices. By combining this advanced technology with diligent practice, we can uphold the highest standards of responsibility and respect for the wildlife we pursue. Also, it is always good to make sure that the Eliminator's technologies are legal in the states that you will be hunting in.

    I owned this scope for few months now and I must say the scope itself is extremely accurate as long as you can provide your bullet data. (there is a dot on view tells you where to shoot) The only down side is this scope can't do any range finding if the distance to your target is less than 37 yards and some very rare case too but I let you figure it out. I wonder if the company can combine more feature like thermal view, night vision into the scope in the future.

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany

I got a tight group of three arrows all within a quarter to a half an inch of one another. All three euros after a couple rounds are directly in the center of the circle I’m aiming at but right at 12 o’clock on the target circle. So because I want the arrows to be a little bit lower than the Bullseye, do I press the arrow up to bring the grouping down a hair? Since I already saved the SR one and SR two am I gonna have to re-cite in the SR one and SR two or are you able to click on SR one and just press the arrow one or two to bring the group down a bit as I mentioned above? Thanks so much for top notch product !!!!!

      @@BurrisOpticsCompany Thankyou. I feel something like the Eliminator 6 is essential for hunting foxes and rabbits with 22LR at night when the bullet drop trajectory can vary 20-30cm (or a whole foot) spanning from 50m (55yd) to 100m (109y). Sighting load to MPBR doesn’t improve much. Judging distance by feel at night can be tricky, hence why the solution has been 223Rem laser gun to 300m and redundant ranging. It would be great to switch Eliminator 6 using 1-piece base from centrefire to rimfire.

    My range finder does not have an able compensator so will the inclination compensation option on the app solve this problem ? Will the scope compensate for angle shooting ? Thanks

      @BurrisOpticsCompany Před měsícem

      The scope does have an inclinometer built into it, and will compensate for the angle of the shot.

    How is the new ED glass on the veracity PH compared to say the XTR II and XTR III glass?

      Definitely on par with the XTR 3. Much better optical system than the XTR 2.

    What’s the battery life?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany Před měsícem

      Roughly 10-40 hours of continuous use (Dependent on Illumination intensity). However, you can set up the scope to go to sleep after a certain amount of time, and turning the turret will automatically wake it up.

      You do not have to sight the scope in physically before uploading data to the scope.

    Do you guy at Burris have plans to ever try and fit the Eliminator series LRF and reticle into a smaller form factor like an LPVO? A 1-6 or 1-8 that could range out to at least 1000 yards would be dope.

      @@BurrisOpticsCompany Question. I'm considering get this. Would it be possible to do something like pairing a kestrel to this device to be able to get wind speed data? That would be like perfect.
