I am one of the ones that LOVES this stuff. Pretty cool to see how much more comfortable you have become with working on a bike, Chris. Everyone starts somewhere!
Really like watching all the upgrades go on, and great to see that you’re able to do a lot of it yourself too. Look forward to seeing what you think of them on track.
Love it Chris, I’d have preferred to see more of the fitting action but I understand only possible when Al’s not imbibing at Glasto! Loving this project, can’t wait to see it back on the track.
As a 2023 R1 owner; I love this series. Seeing what some people love and want to change and following the road to race route myself
Bit of advice for the oil change....open the 'other' cap on the oil pan, which gives the airlflow to stop that 'bubbling' and oil spraying everywhere.
Came here to comment this
I agree, the more you do, the more comfy you get. I remember back in the day when I was scared shitless just to put a shim on rear shock to get some more height. Got to the point that I was able to tear new-to-me trackday project pretty damn far. Saves a lot of money and is very relaxing.
Really love the videos where Chris is just tinkering on the bikes. Shows that it is not that scary to do some work on your own machine. Keep them videos coming.
Love this content mate, its great to see what parts are out and about. I had no idea there were lock stoppers for example. Cheers!
Good work Chris. Satisfying to be getting things done on your own . You got this !
Pawlak
Great video, genuinely interesting watching you work on your own bikes, we all love a bit of JHS but this was a treat
For the record: I love this video with DIY stuff! You are not spending too much time on each part so it is quite satisfying to watch :)
The bike is looking gorgeous Chris, and bravo you for giving it a go yourself. 🤓👏
Epic! Takes me back to doing my K6 Thou and upgrading it over a couple of summers. I learned so much, and now I'm not phased trying to try to do anything. plus the colour you have choice is absolutely bloody gorgeous!
The gold fork legs look amazing on the bike, was half expecting the wrap to get the usual loud 44Teeth treatment though. =)
Mark me down as another one who LOVES these videos. Great content Chris! So good to see the bike coming together, doing an amazing job with it
Chris I hope your luck is better than mine when it comes to crashing right after putting on a bunch of pricey bits and pieces.
Haha…Always crash BEFORE putting the expensive bits on!
Top work sir. Not going to lie, that satin blue look on the bike is bringing on a mild semi.
that excalated quickly.... from budget upgrades to spending a fortune :D
good to see ur having fun getting ur hands dirty and learning. as always its been a pleasure watching
Would like to see a breakdown of the budget showing what Stage-1 set you back in Spain and what Stage-2 cost to get you to Mugello
This is cool Chris, love watching these upgrades and your learning along the way!
I absolutely love following this series, seeing the bike change and grow into an absolute beast
Great vid. Good to see you doing stuff yourself and learning.
Ffs, my 7 year old daughter just walks in as I am watching this at 2:53 and I have to try and get out of answering "daddy what's a soapy tit wank"? I know this channel swears sometimes but I didn't see that coming.
I had a footpeg come off at 140kph in a turn because I hadn't locktite'd it. Aftermarket pegs for a superduke to replace the shit stock ones.
That was fun.
Great series lads always looking forward to the next one
That wrap is exemplarity lovely. Thanks for giving me an idea to fix some horrible dodgy pain on an F800.
Love these videos, so many cool bits! It's great seeing the progress of the build
Great stuff, like the nod to the 06 R1 sp with that colour scheme.
I mean this is awesome.. love it... very relaxing and informative as well i gotta say .... keep up the great work ....
Love it. Fairings looking awesome, would have loved to see how the wrap job, how the foil edge ends on the inside.
Nothing boring about this content! Love it! Some really sweet mods going on to the R1.
Great Video Chris, wrap looks mega! geek us up with gearing changes from stock sound interesting mate
Best content on youtube! I'm so excited to see this go round the track
A nice finishing touch for a track bike is the pillion cowling, to replace that goofy passenger seat.
I’m sure you already know, Baron.
Since you’re a cool kid…
Bike’s coming along well nice.
I did many of these same upgrades to my 2022 SC-77.
They ain’t cheap, but they’re right.
Carry on, mate.
✌🏼
Amazing to see how much your riding and wrenching has progressed in such a short time. Love this type of video!
Top job Chris. These vids give bikers a good foundation of where buck for bang improvements can be made and a bit of mechanical knowledge. 44 Teeth channel has a great variety of content for everybody.
Awesome Vid, great parts! I can't wait wait to see it when it all comes together.
Loved it! Thanks for uploading. My next addition to the garage is an R1M so very interested in this series :)
Loved this video and seeing the progress of the R1.
Great stuff! Really like this.
God im so happy yall are working on an r1. It is my dream bike and some of these parts im looking at buying for my 23’ r1 as well so this is great to see what troubles your running into and what to expect.
Great video series!
I loved the video! More of this!
Thanks Cris!
And cheers from Brasil!
Love watching this sort of stuff!
Love watching the fitting of all the parts ! Keep it coming !
Thank you guys for the inspiration.
Really enjoy these vids, all part of the experience of owning a bike, riding it, working on it or just sitting and admiring it.
That's like the best Christmas morning ever opening all those goodies. Good to see you using the spanners more!
My dude, I love working on bikes. Next time you do an oil change, open the other plug on the drain pan so that you don't have the bubbling shooting oil everywhere. Also - pro tip push upward while unscrewing on the oil drain nut in order to keep oil from spewing all over your hand. Wait until the last thread and carefully pull it away quickly.
Great video Chris and you did very well on your own. Nothing better than doing all this type of work yourself to learn more about your bike. It's not quite as bad as you think it will be. Some bits are just time consuming rather than hard. Didn't miss Fagan and his Glasto-furrylovefest, hahahahaha.
Can't wait to see the next instalment & the new colour.
I haven't had any bike since My Honda MT5 back when I was a teenager. Yet I still watch all of Your videos, after your channel appeard in My feed a few years ago. They are always entertaining to watch. Keep the videos coming! :)
Really enjoy this tinkering style of content! Good colour choice with that wrap!
Great video. Nice that you combined a few days work into one vid.
Really fun and good video mate, loved it
Great video. I love bolting bits on I did my own road - track conversion on my S1000RR learned so much doing it. Only downside is I’m now significantly poorer 😂
Love this style of video as well
Very nice progress, really great mods. The R1 is going to be awesome!
Great video , im doing a lot of these mods to my 2022 R1 and this is definitely helpful thanks
Great video, really interesting seeing you go thru the same dilemmas as I did when I built my GSXR1000 K6 over lockdown.
This was a awesome video! Fark its come out mint
The build is coming out. Definitely change that battery and put a antigravity ATZ-7 it weighs in at 1.32lb and keep in mind that you are removing this weight from underneath your seat, which is at a high point on your bike. And some Vesrah SYJL XX brake pads
Top content Chris!!
Love a build like this! Actually loved the whole series so far. Can't wait to see it and you at Mugello. I am there for the whole of September...it's my spiritual home :)
Love the blue! Looking awesome.
More of these please. Loved it 👍
I find these types of videos very satisfying to watch and that is one hell of a sexy bike ! Thanks for making my day 👍👍
normally I could watch a video like this for hours.. really cool Baron :D
Great job mate !
Bike looks epic with the added blue. Loved the video❤
This video has some interesting information 👌 It's always good to learn about how the process of modification has benefits & the potential side effects of application !😮
Fantastic video !!
What a video - well done Chris. That bikes lookin the nuts. X
Good stuff Chris, nice to see you get stuck in.
Fair play lad, fair hustled that bike around. Sounds epic too!
That was really enjoyable; great video and impressive mechanic work :)
Can’t wait to see the install for the quick change underslung rear wheel system
We love this stuff ❤❤❤❤ maybe one of ur best videos so far
Awesome video, keep the nerdy mody vids coming!!!
Like this stuff. Cheers mate!
You are right about working on your own bike. Especially if it's an older one, you've got nothing to lose and you save a good chunk of change doing the work yourself.
Bloody hell Chris, I'm well impressed with the spannering skills!
I get the previous videos showing step-by-step modifications and how each one effects the performance on track. With this one that idea is blown out of the water by adding loads of mods without testing each one in turn. It's like skipping to the end of the project without looking at the impact of some of the most important mods, i.e. brakes and forks, etc.
I've been waiting for this video ever since the first video of series was up. Sexy build! Any chance you're giving away those stock mirrors btw?
Great Video, I love the upgrades and the colour.
Brilliant video! And no Eggy Al...🤣🤣🤣
Bike looks mega! 👌 Would love to have the space and time to do stuff like this to my bike! Great video.
Enjoyed that one thank you 🍻👍
Love these videos. More please!
I have a feeling from this video that Chris enjoys a drink at night and adds a lot of parts for the bike into his basket when he only wanted to buy some forks and brakes 😂
That was fun dude! A whole lotta blingity bling 😊
You won't need to go full race ECU. You can get the Woolich race tools flash on the stock ECU. 1:1 throttle map is a must as well as a tune since you removed the CAT. 👌
Yessss. This is the content.
Looks fantastic! And your doing a great job working with the bike too 😀
It's amazing how used to stuff we get, that Arrow sticker/plate on the can just... Looks wrong coz I'm so used to one particular look.
Sounds good though.
The bar drilling be really careful. Secure and solid and rigid.
Great job Baron, well done.
The colour is awesome!
Love these videos, bike looks amazing.
This stuff is fantastic, can’t ride at the moment and I get to vicariously experience what I would be doing rn if I were able!
Love the video, the bike looks absolutely crackin!
The new color locks sooo sick! Can wait for the next track video.
