Can't believe Toprak had the opportunity to meet a legend
😂
Toprak and Sue Perkins
And he was so flustered that he couldn't even pronounce his on surname! Raz-gat-lee-og-lu. Geez.
I was going to like the comment but it’s on 44 🤷🏻♂️
You could see how nervous Toprak was! 😅
What a guy Toprak is so down to earth for the amount of talent he has, well done Chris on getting stuck in again after your crash ✊
The term “down to earth” is soo overused these days i mean ppl almost always try to be nice when there’s a camera
Shock horror he poops like the rest of us
Yes well done for inspecting the damage you caused and putting it right yourself, there are too many of those smash something and leave it to others to fix, put all your childish moods in the bin, they are not becoming of an adult anyway, and know you've gone up a couple of steps in our eyes.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Most humans are like other humans. Go take a cold shower.
@@davidboydarnott417 "there are too many of those smash something and leave it to others to fix"
Are there? How many is "too many"? Why does it even matter and why is there a limit? The people who can't fix their own bikes know their limitations and are sensible. They're also keeping mechanics in jobs.
The main thing I take from this is realising even Toprak Razgatllioglu struggles saying 'Razgatlioglu'
Nice of Toprak to stop by. Top man
Bloody quick times, those. Bike sounds great, too. What a track, eh? Top job 😊👍
Thank you Michael Sir! 🎉 Such a mega place ❤
Coming back to your Q&A video about tires @neevesybikes, the lap of Alberto shows how potent those road tires are 😮
@@BaronVonGrumble Hi Chris, looking at your excellent on-boards it seems like the pro riders were taking a more V shape line on that last turn so hard braking upright before a deep turn mid corner then upright again for drive as soon as possible. So they avoided picking up the throttle on the side mid-corner. I guess that's two apex, early and late instead of one. Does that make any sense?
Anyway, you were OK and quickly back on it, so good..
2 things I take away from this video,
1. Chris you have come a long way since racing through the capital’s traffic and I can see how much you have improved your riding, so well done. 👍👍👍👍
2. Mugellol definitely needs to host a world Superbike race.😎😎
.
Fantastic Chris, wow your getting incredibly fast! Never mind the crash we've all done it😅
Isn't that too soon😂
Cheers Chops! 😅
You’re, chopsie!
The only thing worse than crashing your own bike is crashing someone else's, right? :)
Come on Chris ffs, don't knock yourself, your a frigging great rider man. And a real bike loving guy.
Over-pressurized rear can catch out anyone.
It's only a matter of time dude..that's bikes for ya....
What a lovely moment with Toprak. Gutted for your drop Chris but at least youre unharmed!
Toprak is a very kind and egoless legend. It's hard not to admire it. There are very few other people as successful and approachable as him. You're so lucky Chris. Great video, thank you.
I know you said you couldn't send anyone out there to get extra shots and all that, but I thought that was a great video. just as high quality as always really. Great attitude with the crash too, not letting it get you down!
such a gentle crash. Your bike just looked a little sleepy is all :) don't be too hard on yourself, most of us can't ride anywhere even close to that level. Review, learn, improve, that's what you're there for
Yep, just found the edge of the rubber… and had to layer down
Chris, European tracks and R1's seem to be a smashing combination. Literally.
Chris your track riding has come on leaps and bounds over the last few years, it's been really good to watch. It's a big step being able to bin it and get back out there with a clear head as well, I think a lot of us would be in a right shitty.
well said mate
Only if your a coward
@@TheInfantry98 "Only if your a coward," the internet know-it-all said, sitting safely behind his keyboard in an ideal world.
Whenever you crash and walk away, you’ve had great success. It’s a learning process. Glad you had a great time.
You have to admit, Toprak is the bollocks! IMO, the best bike handler racing today. He's next level compared to everyone else. He seems a humble guy as well.
Love this series on stock to track. When I raced, I loved fiddling with my bike figuring out what I needed to go faster. What a treat to meet Toprac
What a great experience minus the crash! Very fortunate to follow a beast like him. As all the viewers will probably tell you glad to see you went back out. The apology at the end was not needed. Thank you very much for the ride. Enjoyed it. Cheers!
You have to love a bit of Toprak. He always comes across as a thoroughly decent chap.
I understand what you mean. My first track day, I got distracted and dropped my bike in line waiting for tech inspection. I was very frustrated and absolutely embarrassed. I really contemplated just packing up and going home before the day even started. I'm so glad that I didn't because it was an awesome experience.
How did you do that ? Like what the fuck ?
@@TheInfantry98 shit happens??
So proud of you! You pushed through and didn't let it ruin you 🙏. Seems like you're feeling much healthier 👍
Great video. Loved the diary presentation Chris, because it gives such a genuine feel and realism, so I feel so immersed in the R1 story. Love it!
Thank you for sharing this (all the ups and downs). Its very humbling to see you go through this - and don't worry you will build it back better and stronger 💪🏻
Fortunately for the bike and especially chris that it was a fairly gentle crash. Got to hand it to the guy. He can handle a superbike pretty bloody well and to jump back on straight after a crash takes balls! So cool to see toprak too! Love 44 teeth, easily my favourite moto channel ❤
So glad you got back out there, you were okay, and the bike was okay. you could tell it was getting progressively looser towards the end of that lap so its unfortunate. Diary videos are also better than no content, so dont fret about that.
Really enjoying this series of videos and how you build up the pace progressively. We can all learn from this. And they are so down to earth. Kudos to you the project and the 44Teeth. Great work and awfully entertaining.
Great video! I love how honest you are, the good and the bad. You’re super fast and your genuine love for riding/racing is what makes this channel amazing. Love it, please continue making great content!
Even though I'm a Ducati man, absolutely love Toprak - such a top, top bloke!
I think this is one of my favourite series from 44T this year. And thank you for the track overview, i have another day at Mugello this month. The pointers are so helpful.
The fuelling issue is common to most euro4+ bikes. They have to run lean anyway to meet emissions, and then freeing up the flow leans it out more than the real time stuff will compensate for. People melt through pistons this way so be careful
Really enjoy your vids and followed you since the Baron days. Really admire the way you have talked in the past about the challenges you face, which make it easier for others to talk more openly. Don’t underestimate the impact you have had on people mate.
These r1 build series videos have been amazing so far! Keep em coming! 🤤❤️
Top job Chris. Its also cool that you have a blossoming bromance with Toprak. All joking aside, Im glad you got to hang out with him again.
Really enjoying this series, from the bike mods to the riding it’s really enjoyable. What an amazing track day!
Awesome Chris. You were carrying serious pace and the footage was fine. Sad to see the low-side, but glad your OK and only cosmetic damage to the R1. Thanks for another great video. Really enjoyed it at the end of a long work day.
It's nice to see you ok and ready to hit the track again. I wouldn't expect that crash with all the electronics and your smooth, as it sounds, acceleration.
Great video Chris, really enjoyed you following that stock R1, seeing where your bike came from to what it is now
Nice video, enjoy the calm voice overs over the live-commentary.
I smiled when you still went back afterwards...Very nice work indeed, pretty damn good lap times.
What a day Chris. Strong lap time, met Toprak and a bit of hands on repair work… great video👍
Whoopsie or not, you're an insane rider. Could watch these type of vlogs allll day 💪
Another fantastic video, love this series.
Brilliant vid, great to see ya brushed that small issue off and got back on it.
Great job. Cheers cobba ✌️
Simply brilliant. Super informative and concise
4 seconds off Toprak, I'd take that all day long, nice stuff Chris, great editing too!
Well done Chris, great video of your journey with the R1, so glad you got on it again. I lined my R1 on Sheene Curve many years ago, and my mates made me get on a track bike later that day, so glad I did as well. Now I know why you didn't let on to your trip when I bumped into you at Silverstone GP!!!
Lord Von Grumble, you've got absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. You took it like a champ and got straight back on. Class. I'm sure Toprak was in awe getting to meet royalty in the form of a true Baron 😂😂
Your reaction to the incident was really nice to see. I’m guilty of running off being frustrated at an accident like that, but your calmness was great.
The vlog format is great, because you are doing it right! most likely because you don't necessarily want it to be too vloggy, ironically
Well done for keeping the balls in check and doing the last session. I can imagine this being a bit scary. I’m glad the bike did not suffer much either but yeah, gat those race fairings. It’s heart breaking go watch😂. Also your comments of screen are very professional and helpful. I think you’ve matured a bit as a content creator. Diary format is great!❤
0:11 seconds in is the view all the ladies see
Awesome video, shame about the crash but happy the bike was ok.
You're a great rider!
Top quality vlog, really enjoyed that. Toprak seems like a genuinely lovely guy as well 👍😊
People underestimate the psychological pressure of getting back on the bike right after crashing. Props to you mate!
Great 2 part Vid. 👏🏻
Very enjoyable to watch.
Especially the bit that's shows talent outweighs parts......Everytime.
❤
Great video. Loved the footage and your commentary as well. Thanks!
Loved that. Bang on typical track day chat!
Thanks for another great video. Great attitude from you about the bike drop. I think you are really getting under the skin of this racing thing!
Good stuff, great perspective. So cool to have a chat with Toprak - a very humble top talent.
Considering how you are with your mental wellbeing I'm really pleased for you about how remarkably upbeat you were in the end. Yeah it's a shame about the slight lowside but you were spot on in getting straight on it again before packing it away. Good progress is being made, on the track, your laptimes and more importantly, you.
That track though...ooffff 🤩
Couldnt hope for a better vid. Good riding, quality commentary, unexpected cameo from a legend and authenticity everywhere. For me the lack of polish (like - no cameraman) is a big plus.
Awesome video and runs! Glad you’re ok and the bike came out fine as well.
I never comment on CZcams, but had to comment...wow thats some top 44 teeth content!
The footage following the Italian rider was awesome, the chase, his ragged edge corner entry! Casual friendly chat with Toprak!
More Baron chase came vs pro riders please! Rules = them road tyres. Looks to even it out in a really fun way. Would make a good feature.
Coincidently, Im currently watching Chris permision to torque tour thing. On episode 9....happy to see things are looking up on the love life front ;-)
Great footage, great sound ... i really enjoy those documentations :). Wooopsie ^^ luckily only a gentle slide and no flip.
Glad you OK Christoph. Kahoonahs mate, your kahoonahs are MAHOOSIVE! Kudos.
What I love about bikers, you're doing incredible and so fast now. A had a fuck up at knockhill with a silly mistake, didn't wanna go back out but an older legend of a guy scrubbed ma tyres back in after the mud and grass and got me back out.
Superb guys! Honestly...just a superb vid. Stoprak is a very very cool dude as well. Long may he tear around the tracks of the world doing outrageous stoppies. 🙂👍
Great video Chris really enjoyed it
You've set such a high standard for yourself Chris. Amszing stuff, and thanks for sharing
Great vid Chris! Hope you’re in a good place
Wow seems like brilliant event with plenty of stars! Cant help but smile with Toprak.
Yeah bad when u dont know why. When you was quicker during the days did you keep an eye on the suspension settings to match the pace?
Reasons being Noticed the forks travel indicator were bottomed after the whoopie.
So maybe you needed more pre, comp and reb in ghe front, but did you check and keep an eye on the shock setting too Through the day? If the shocks not controlling the forces it overworks the tyre and pushes ghe pressures up so that could of been a warning? Seems like it unloaded more just as you got to the apex faster than the other laps (was intentional to keep up with brad?) which lifting the back up abit much then just as you put back on the power more suddenly (again intent?) it squashed it but not enough to keep the drive for the tyre so the rear coming round.. just for thought.
Excellent vid as usual and riding even with the rash.
Thank you for the excellent content. Glad you were able to get back out.
It was wicked to watch. I'm glad you got straight back out there...
Good stuff, interesting to see how high your knees are in the straight. Would be great to see you guys come to the Phillip island track in Australia!
Well done! Great that you got back on that horse right away!
Awesome seeing some pro racers out there and great riding Chris
Loved watching that!! Awesome video! Great times too 👍 Shame about the crash but deffo could of been worse, would really like to get to Mugello one day it looks like a fantastic track to ride.
Awesome vlog this. Mugello looks amazing. Not sure when this was filmed but we were in Tuscany a couple of weeks ago and it was 43 degrees, so amazing to do what you did in that heat 🥵🥵🥵
The quality of the onboard footage you're putting together is absolutely brilliant! The Auto Focus on the selfies is pants though... doesn't matter though!
Really interesting to see Toprak wrestle the R1 like that.
Loved the video so thank you for sharing. It must be gutting to come off a bike on track. So glad it was fine. Would love to see you at laguna seca.. superbike school it's always been my dream to attend ..
Great stuff Chris. Toprak is a proper gent.
Fair play getting back out there after the crash big man, well done
Great video as allways, glad to see the bike ok and amazing opportunity to meet Toprak 🙏
Good stuff!!! Glad you are ok mate!
I wonder if the throttle twitching without the map and the baffle out was a major factor..?
Great watch. Thanks
Feel for ya with the low side, but insurance will sort it.
Keep up the good work
Loving the R1 looks like so much fun great content as always mate 😊
nice to see you back
Your a fantastic rider, really wish I could have the skills you have mate, keep it up love the content and helps me learn
I have made the same mistake with tires . Great to see you get back out there 💪
Absolutely fabulous, everything & everything, including Toprak etc etc etc, and just great ur ok & got back ur bike. Pls more & more, and thanks 😊
Brilliant mate. Awesome content as per.
Well done for the mental recovery and getting back on it rather than huffing away. Shows a lot of character.
Looked to me like you got on the gas a tad early, peer pressure can do that, Awesome job Chris!!!
Well done, that's a great time.
Not to worry about the crash, we have all done it at one point or another.
Man that thing sounds great. Don't you love when you go back out and start hearing "noises" and having "what's that vibration" kinda feelings for about half a lap....then you forget.
Nice vid, love Toprak. Nice guy!
Less than 5 seconds a lap off Toprak sounds good to me! Thanks for the vid, enjoyed it.
Keeping up with them boys on anything is very impressive! You looked smooth!
Awesome vid, shame about the slight crash but you got away with it, Toprak though how cool is that boy
Just got back from holiday, not even unpacked and got this notification to watch, priorities 👍
Same 👌 moto gp by any chance?
Great times mate and I’m glad your ok 👍🏻
