  • From 2023 Ducati are taking over from Energica as the motorbike supplier to the all electric one make MotoE World Cup.
    Ducati will supply their new Ducati V21L electric race motorbike in place of the Energica Ego Corse tried and tested electric race motorbike.

    Great video. I hope they consider opening up the moto e championship to multiple makes. It would be great to see Nigel and lightening take on these 2. And maybe Damon as well

      Hi Sean, thanks for your comment, yes it would be good to see some more competition in the MotoE series, still it will be interesting to see how the Ducatis go next year, I might even watch more of the races. Thanks for watching and have a great day.

    With that carbon fiber chasis no doubt the Ducati must be way pricier than the Energica, that it just was adapted to the competition while the Ducati was designed to race from the get go. I hardly believe Energica has the resources to embark in such a project. I'd like to see more manufacturers joining, but given the reluctance of japanese manufacturers to electric vehicles I guess the competition will likely come from Triumph, that already has a prototype, BMW or maybe CFMoto, given the chinese expertise with EVs
