Doctor Who episode 3 OVERNIGHT ratings are here! And as expected it has continued to trend down as fans tune out of the WOKE, DEI, TRASH that is new Doctor Who!
IMHO Doctor Who died when Capaldi left, Boom was an okay episode but the damage has been done. The defendants of The new series will claim that the ratings were low because a lot of the viewers and potential viewers will watch it online and they will be higher when added together but I think that no one really cares about new Doctor Who anymore. I have been a fan of the show since I was a wee lad in primary school in the mid seventies but it's painful to watch it slowly die... Cancellation would be a welcome mercy killing!
When capaldi said "Doctor I let you go", the Doctor actually left the show. What we were and still are watching since is a empty husk left behind when a soul leaves. I would genuinely be surprised if this new Doctor impersonator gets a third series
Kathleen Kennedy did it with Star Wars. Russell T Davies has done it with Doctor Who. Killed off for being WOKE, DEI crap no on wants to watch, although no doubt, Davies will continue to act as if it's all fine. This is another huge drop. It's continued existence must be in serious doubt.
Nonsense, overnight figures mean very little these days seeing it’s just the bbc1 Saturday evening figures… The vast, vast majority are watching new Who on iPlayer… definitely the majority of younger people too who hardly watch “live” tv, I’m 51 and I watch most tv on catch up or streaming.. I would want to see the 7 day figures that include iPlayer views also… it’s funny the anti woke or anti Ncuti lot are now jumping on over night live tv figures as some sort of validation of there racist, homophobic nonsense… Ncuti is one of the best Doctors in quite awhile and he can really act, like brilliantly he can do comedy, light, energetic but also bring the goods when it comes to the deeper, heavy stuff…
My friend told me that it IS the lowest rating ever for an episode of DR WHO and thats including the Hartnell era onwards..🙈Cant RTD see what a disaster this is becoming....
@@sci-fiquest176 I would also be interested in watching it crumble(purely out of spite). Which hopefully paves the way for it's revival like 2005 in the future.
Its the lowest by a long way 😂😂😂😂 and hilarious what happened to the 2 to 3 LBTQ plus plus plus whatever Woke, Trans that would replace each person that turned off. I wonder what they'll blame for this low rating. Not even the 7th Doctor who the BBC put up against Emmerdale one of the most watched programes at the time got anywhere near this low. At this rate the entire series is going to get less viewers than a single episode of Earth Shock and I will probably split my sides laughing.😂😂😂😂😂
Some of the OG Who crowd would have tuned into ep1 as a sense of DUTY. They, as I, wouldn't have stayed long. No thanks to this crap, I'm out. The 2.6 to 2.4 drop. This other 400k though to ep3? That will be the optimistic New Who crowd and glass half-full casual observors. So around 0.6mill drop already in a directly comparable metric. Jesus Christ! that's bad.
The usual suspects are, of course, saying that overnight ratings mean nothing. Funny though... when Whittaker's first episode got really high ratings, they said the exact opposite... as I know they would be now if Boom had not been such an unmitigated flop. It'll be down to one million overnights by the end. And let's hope that is The End.
And the streaming numbers will do nothing to help as there is a rumour saying the ratings are in the 10's of thousands for Disney+! What a joke! 'ROMOUR' take that as you will!
Thanks. From 2.6 to 2.4 to about 2. So, over one half million people, about one fifth, or 20%, of the people that started have left. I'm glad to see that a lot of sane people are voting with the wallet and their feet and abandoning the new Dr Who. The new Dr Who is what you say it is... trash, DEI, woke, trash. I refuse to support trash shows and trash showrunners and actors who insult their audience with their political abuse.
I remember as a kid, waiting (or perhaps anticipating would be more truthful) for Dr Who, series one to come on. I was on board when they finally restarted the series. I will still watch those episodes from time to time, just because. But Disney will never see a dime from me, nor will I be watching the prancing idiot pretending and not pretending very well to be the modern doctor. Maybe someday the world will reset in a good way and we will once again see a return to the values our society once felt were important and we will get a new Dr. Who and a new Star Trek, maybe even a new Star Wars that actually are enjoyable. But I am not going to hold my breath.
That is possible, but. I think she is a child of the Toymaker, and with all the DEI we are seeing she will be the most powerful of them all. Doubt it really but it's possible!
That would or rather should be impossible as in cannon that is real Doctor Who cannon. Which means nothing to these Morons Susan had one child a son which was killed fighting the Daleks.
Not anti-faith at all. At the end The Doctor acknowledges that Faith can be a good thing, and that even he needs a little faith from time to time. They simply used an idea that was established during Matt Smith's era (the religious soldiers) and carried it over into this episode. Not remotely anti-religion, just anti-capitalist and a statement against BLIND Faith.
@@paul8409 I'm a Christian, and I didn't think it was anti-Christian at all, plus this was an idea that they carried over from the Matt Smith era. Why weren't people making this accusation back then?
@@Luciry123Sounds ironic considering some of the comments Ive been reading from certain fans who are convincing themselves that these appalling figures are in actual fact really good 😂
