I had a half written list of everything that seemed wrong with this episode up until halfway and then I just stopped watching. That was more than enough. They just killed the Doctor for me. I'm out. RIP.

Its still a trash rating lol. Lost 3.5 million viewers since Christmas. I think the TV only 7 day rating will come out at something like 3.73 million. If I am right, then it will mean that still, very few are watching on iPlayer. Makes all those that say we don't watch TV the same these days. Well, it looks like we do. More people record and watch it over 7 days on their TV's. Than on iPlayer.

Neighbor, ratings have nothing to do with quality of writing. I will note there is a concerted want to hate the show by "fans". Such as yourself. Its telling. Its as if the fact its not what you desire, means its bad and irredeemable. as opposed to 'not for you".

I suspect Disney offered £ if the BBC kept the show woke - then when figures go down (as they have), Disney can snap up the IP cheap and then claim 'it's always been woke, though.....'

Please don't take Doctor who so seriously. See it for what it is. Just light hearted family entertainment. A bit of science fiction nonsense. It's supposed to be watched just once and move on with your day. Don't spend your life debating a tv program. There are far more important things in life to worry about.

Why were the monsters killing the humans? again so many unanswered questions i don't know what's going on in that writing room if there is one. The bubble is a metaphor for that we live in our own bubble because of social media and how we need directions because of social media addiction and our faces down all the time and also how we are being so dumbed down so much by technology that we need audio directions to walk as we are just living in our bubbles. Also the main characters ( aside from Ruby and the Doctor ) are social unmindful media influencers its very much ripped off from black mirror even the independent newspaper said it.

Ncuti Gatwa was. chosen to play the Doctor so episodes like Dot And Bubble can be made that make out white people are bad and racist.

Another Doctor Who episode that attacks white people by calling them racist. This white people are racist has become a regular occurrence in Doctor who. In my opinion the whole point of Dot And Bubble was to tell the viewers white people are racist. I think it's shocking RTD had the Lindy character say to the Doctor "you are not one of us" because of his skin colour and the other white characters saying "Its voodoo" meaning the tardis and "turn away ladies before you are contaminated".....again because of the Doctor's skin colour. That scene was an absolute attack on white people......calling them racist. There is no need for it and I hope RTD gets slammed for writing such crap. No wonder the viewing figures are down who wants to be constantly told they are racist because they have white skin!!!!!!!

It wasn't a bad episode, but I didn't think it was a good one, either. I knew immediately that it was an older version of Ruby, so no mystery. And the "horror" aspects were distinctly absent. Anyone who talks to "73 yards Lady" runs away? And they never really explained why? Just a missed opportunity.

The differences are essentially fractional. All the Disney money misspent. This should be amazing. Instead its a cheap looking entertainment disaster.

I'm intrigued by the Acolyte. The trailers have been okay so far, so if they keep the messaging out of it, this has a chance of being decent... but.. Leslye Headland... so brace yourself for messaging! 🤣 But you never know...
