I get asked a lot about how to submit coins to PCGS for grading. In this video, I will be using the online submission form and show you step by step how to submit your coins for grading. I will not be using the paper submission form in this video since online submission is easy and very quick and simple.
Of course, there are other coin grading services you can use such as NGC, ANACS, etc - but I prefer to use PCGS since I am a member with them and are a trusted grading company.
I'll walk you through submitting a few coins - one for standard grading and one for variety attribution and in a future video, we will check to see how the grades came out.
If you are interested in seeing some of my PCGS Unboxing and Results Videos - you can check them out here:

I hope you enjoyed this video and found it informative. I will be doing more videos like this of more of my great finds while roll hunting Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Half Dollars and Dollar Coins.
    Keep hunting and good luck!
They're still out there for us to find!

Hi Rob, Excellent job of a sequential explanation for sending coins. I believe that it will
assist many submitters in identifying the various selections on the form. PCGS may
even reward you with a small stipend in appreciation.

Very helpful video to one who has never submitted coins for grading. Might've been good to include the packing process, too. Some people skimp there, despite a "safe pack" being of utmost importance.

Thanks for the walkthrough. I'm nervously submitting to PCGS for the 1st time today. I am REALLY hoping that a couple of them fall outside of the $2500 covered by the vouchers! The price guide doesn't list a CAM for the 1938 Walking Liberty proof, so if you see that line added in the next few weeks, hopefully that'll be me! 😂

Coins do NOT have to be sent by registered mail. You can send by FedEx or U.S. Priority Mail, insured with the amount you require, and signature of recipient required, and it provides the same protection and assurance but is cheaper than registered. This is how I always send my coins.
