Can you tell me if my 1937 nickel is worth anything ?Its a 1937 nickel but its not a buffalo its a jefferson and I cant find any 1937 jefferson nickel I see they did not start making them until 1938 so someone told me it could possibly be a discovery coin do you know who I can ask or text pictures to? thank you
Try emailing heritage auctions maybe 🤷
Thank you so much i found a new error on a 2021 Lincoln
At 17:00 there is a security issue that's plainly obvious, "write your service level on the envelope", may as well write, "HEY THIEVES STEAL MY COINS"
This was is one the clearest submission videos that I’ve seen. Clear steps and thoroughly explained, I like that. You answered a question that I had about the authentication and how to get genuine coins put in holders or body bags.
BTW, I’m glad that you mentioned the PCGS Guide. I forgot that I have it DL already. Thank you sir.
😎👍🏽
Glad it was helpful! :)
This was the perfect video for me! Thank you soooo much. I have been "Organizing" my 31 year coin hoarding into a collection for four years! LMAO! Been finding Gems I never knew I had. I'm just hesitant sending them off.
Thank you for posting this. I have looked a a lot of different videos on the subject and yours is easy to follow and the most comprehensive!
Absolutely the best step-by-step I've seen for submissions! Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! :)
It's good to learn about stuff I know very little about, thanks for this one!
This helped, I found 2 coins I want graded. Already paid my subscription. I have a 1969 S DDO on Liberty and a 1995 D NO DYE. Super stoked! Thanks for the video!
Can’t believe I’ve never seen your channel. This is exactly the video. I’ve been looking for new subscriber here, bud.
Glad it helped! Welcome!
Amazing video!!! Thank you so much, it really helped a lot... I'm sure I'll be rewatching several times!
This is the clearest submission video I’ve seen. Awesome job sir 👍🏻
Glad it was helpful! Share it with others too :)
Thanks for your expertise in coin grading, very thorough and easy.
Man I have been dreading this but I believe it will go alot smoother 😊
Thank you for the clear step by step video. Loved it.
Thank you for posting this video. It was very helpful.
Excellent video! Your thumbnail showed a Morgan with toning that went from raw to MS68, this is the fantasy of many collectors because the coin also had super toning. Unfortunately in the real world PCGS usually throws their "punt" grade of Questionable color on such coins.
I won a 1948 BTW at an auction that was well-fought, paid the $150 Show Grade fee after being encouraged by a toning expert and professionals at my LCS only to have it come back holdered QC in less than an hour. At the next show I resubmitted this coin for "restoration" and the jury is still out. You are right about the wait!
Your details in packing and shipping are great but with my very first submission I opted to send to the Fed Ex address on the form using the one day service. Not only was I certain that my coins would arrive (because I put so much insurance on them), it would also cut down on my wait. Yes this was not cheap but neither was my submission. I'll be looking forward to the grades on your gold hoard.
I loved this video. It was clear and informative. Prior to watching the video I was very concerned/ worried about submitting coins. After watching this video I appreciate your information and expertise. I feel more confident and able in regards to the submission process. Thank you
That's the best comment I could get on this!
Fantastic! Thank you!
Thank you so much for the help I have been trying to figure out how I was going to do this and now I know may take me a few hours or days lol. You were so much help 😊
Glad I could help!
Excellent info, I wish I would have watched this before I sent my first one in a few years ago...well done!
Thanks! I hope it helps people!
Dude your a god send . Thanks 4 taking time out to show us this
Great video, very helpful! 👍 Thank you!

Thank you! Please share!
Thanks for the info.
Thx for the help
Thanks alot very informative and I will try to get this right. I'm sending in a very nice 1969 s DD obverse and reverse I believe and others that have seen it will be atleast ms 66 .thank you again sir and I hope you have a wonderful weekend wonderful weekend
My pleasure!
Very Interesting video!
I almost understand Ll the video although My lenguaje is Spanish.
Thank you for describe step by step the certification submission procedures.
Thank you for this. I have an old 1925 Stone Mountain half dollar, and I'm sure everyone says this, but that after looking at it under a loupe and comparing to what's been graded already, I think it might be MS68. Its flawless. Its the first coin I've ever found that I'm sure is worth doing this its just I hate not knowing and especially because I'm not an expert and aware of how people react when they think they've found something really good. I'm positive this one is different so I'm going to send it in express and see what happens. Whatever grade I get I'll update this just for continuity.
Have you sent it in ?
Your GREAT thank you .
Sir thank you so much
Thank you so much for taking the time out to educate, if I'm having a non gold coin graded should I go economy (non gold)?? What's the difference?
This video is super informative on what I want to do, thanks to people like you I can have an easier time learning this process
Also I am really sorry to point this out but calling professionals experts is kinda demoting
Cool to know, thanks for all your reviews!! I got lots of coins and Bill's, wondering what I should do with them?
Are you looking to sell them?
Thanks! Should do NGC also! Even though it’s similar
Tq your information...nice...❤👍👍👍👍
Thank you for this video.
What about coin restoration? Would that be in the same process?
Would have been interesting to also see the ending, ie receipt of the coins, the tradings, etc.
Why would the require those specific holders it they are going to transfer them into a different type of holder anyway?
wonderful🌹🌹🌹fully watched
Wow, didn't know it cost so much .I have Kennedy half dollars from my father. Thats a high cost for a risk of no value. Great info
Uhm'.....definitely thank you, but truly oh my gosh. I see I will need to watch this a couple of times. Wow, wow, wow!!!!💥😳😭😬🧐🤪
Glad you enjoyed it
Where is the description box where you were going to list where to get the supplies used?
What if it’s an error that hasn’t been listed yet how do you determine value?
That's a good question
I need an answer to the same question...
Find anything out yet?
I have same issue I think
just give an estimate value of your error coin. if you think it is worth 500, then write 500. simply write what you think the value of it.
Are full steps on Jefferson nickels considered variety and can you get gold shield with platinum membership for vouchers
Where do you sell them after they authentic them 😉🤔
Great video. It appears you can only submit the pdf form for quarterly specials? Does that mean I fill out 5 forms for a 100 coins? I am looking for a continuation page since they will all be submitted at the same level. Seems odd to fill out multiple forms and $10 handling for each form if they're all the same? Anyway great video...now do the reveal.
Did u get your coins back yet? If so how much did u get?
Thank for the step by step process I found a gold plated coin with no reverse only heads of a woman's head from the neck up and under the head is the word Venus any suggestions?
Just a couple questions… I just received the reverse proof Morgan/Peace dollar set. Do I send to PCGS in the box from the mint, or take the coins out and place the proof coins in the plastic holders? I assume the set counts as grading two coins? Also, I would like to have them in a slab as a set and not separate if possible but don’t see that option on the submission form as an option. Any help is appreciated.
You may have already answered this, but what if the coin isn’t listed in the PCGS library? For instance, an 1895 Morgan Silver Dollar (no mint mark) isn’t listed. So how would one go about adding a coin like that that doesn’t have a number?
You should really do this for Paper Money (PMG) Specifically
THANKS FOR POSTING ! When I consign coins to sell , can I set the minimum bid price ?
Generally yes
i am not a coin collector but i recently came up on 9 silver coins that i've never seen before. Whats the best way to figure out worth? should i get them graded through a middle man? are there middle men for coin grading? HELP lol
Silverpicker is it ok before sending your coins to PCGS is it ok to rinse them off with warm water and Dawn dish soap ?
I have been watching the CZcams on these are they close to the selling price
Two questions. When assigning a declared value, do I use the PCGS price guide value or the auction values?
Secondly, I have a lot of world coins that I am not grading, but I want to sell. Are you interested in them?
The price guide PCGS has
Hello Silver Picker, I have 45 Morgan Silver dollars , 18 are in box sets and the rest are encapsulated in a portfolio. Do they have more value as a set or would getting them graded in crease there value. The one set of five only has two that I would consider getting graded the other three are heavily circulated. The rest are in great condition I believe and are worth getting graded.
If the coins get high grades then grading them will definitely make them more valuable. Having them in a set doesn’t really affect the value much
if i’m doing this via manual form and not online , the labels can i just put line# because i don’t know how u got the other number on the labels .
I would like to take it in baby steps. As I am new to coin collecting. I would like to learn more on how I can make this new hobby of mine into an investment. In fact I would like to become my own coin appraiser someday. So, can I send in one coin at a time once I get my membership account set up with PCGS? I was also finding info not to clean my coins that have been circulated. Please provide more info in all I need to know as this video was very helpful! Thank you so much. I already invested in my coin weigh scale and a magnifier that I can hook up to my laptop to take pictures and create a file for pictures of coins I have found. I have ordered a book on histories of coins and their values. I think I am on the right track? Thumbs up!
This is literally what I have done so far as well! 😂 I have all my materials ready but still having trouble on where to start. All my coins are circulated. I even went so far to get 20 dollars worth of quarters from a nearby laundromat 🤣. I'm still trying to understand the service fee. Newbie coin collectors unite!
Thanks a million!!
I just got a silver 1976 quarter as change. It has no mint mark but is silver. Is there anything special i need to know before i send it in?
USPS will provide you the packaging materials, including water activated adhesive tape, for free. Send your submissions in a USPS box, which is also free.
After you get back your coins and have had them graded how do you post them up for auction or how to start getting them sold?
Im supposed to write the CLUB? Or do I’ve to add which club gold or silver/ platinum ?
Why not use a box when you ship your coins? I recently had a very fragile item that was shipped, well insulated, in a box. When I got it, it actually had tire tracks on it, and half the box was flattened. Surprisingly the item arrived intact. I’d worry about coins getting bent in envelopes.
Sit back and wait wait wait wait wait and wait wait wait and hopefully your getting your REALCOINS BACK!!!
Can you grade coins from different countries because I can't seem to find my coin?
I bought labels from pcgs so I assume I can hand write the info on the labels?
can you do a follow up video to show how much they graded at?
It's already on my channel from a couple months ago!
Do you have a video explaining bulk submissions to PCGS?
Not yet, haven't done it myself either
Is that the voucher number or my member number on the mylar flip?
When we submit gold and silver coins for grading/certification and ship via USPS, in addition to Registered Mail should we also buy insurance from USPS?
Yes, definitely want to insure your shipment
Dear Silverpicker, what is the weblink for the 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 mylar flips that you mentioned in this video. Thanks!

Hi, I want to send in 2 possible Franklin pr70 from Ireland ( to pcgs Europe Paris? Or USA ? I'm a collector of U.S . Coins only. I've watched your video and read the download forms .question 1 . Are you forced to suggest your own pr or ms number ? And moreover, if you don't reach that grade then they send it back unslabbed. ? For example , should I put the coin in for €100,000 value ( just in case it gets to a pr70 or should I put the Franklin coin into the €10,000 category .and suggest a lower pr number. I want to go higher not lower to re submit all the time.
Excellent video but what about insurance when you sent the coins?
I pay for insurance when I ship them, and insurance is covered on their way back too
Hi, Do I pay for variety attribution if I am not sure if the coin is a proof. I think it is a proof Buffalo. It also changes the value of the coin.
Proof and variety are not mutually exclusive. You could have a proof that's also a variety
How do you do a brand New Eagle coins to send it out
What assurance do I have if I send in a very valuable coin to be appraised or graded that I would get my original coin back and not a less valuable one??
Same assurance you have when you drink a bottle of coke, Coca-cola didn't substitute it with brown colored sewer water
I don't have a lot of coins but my father gave me a 1858 Liberty Head $20 gold coin. I am so confused of if I should send it off to be graded. Any help or advice would be appreciated
Examine the coin to see it's condition, and pull the coin up on PCGS price guide and look at the grades and what they're going for. That'll determine if it's worth grading
Does PCGS accept bulk coins for grading?
Would you send "the" Key Date Morgan MS in the mail to PCGS? I've never had any of my coins graded but I am a member.
I couldn’t get them to allow me to add more than $2500 value even following these directions. Here is hoping that everything goes well.
Great information, but what if you were submitting a 1960 quarter that you think is going to grade between ms-68 and ms-69 how would you go about submitting that? clearly the value would be over 10k so would you have to choose walk through or maybe express . and then get your number from any graded 1960 quarter they have in their data base ? because I don't think they have ever graded one as high as 68 or 69 before. this is all so frustrating . sorry to bother you with these questions. I am clearly a rookie and do not have a clue what I am doing. insuring your shipment is another thing. how can you insure it if you don't know the declared value ? Thank you for your help , I appreciate you and your channel
Hi Brian . I'm in the same boat as you , a lot of it doesn't make sense .I'm a rookie too, and been collecting us coins since 2019.. I have some good coins that may exceed the current allocated grades. So they ,pcgs ,as the experts, want us to chance a grade based on no knowledge, so that they as an get us to re submit if we fail to get the grade.
@@hughhistory7478 I will not use PCGS I have in the past, I sent in a previously graded 1953 proof penny they graded as an ms68 fs 401 re engraved penny. I thought it was closer to an ms69 so I sent in in to get re graded it came back as an MS 67 penny without the re engraved variety . i also sent in two 1968 repunched mint mark quarters that came back low grade regular quarters without the rpm variety . they are slipping badly and I believe anacs and NGC are far more accurate than pcgs is today less expensive as well
I cant find the link to the flips
Since we have to put on the form what we think the coin is worth and grade will they grade higher than what we think is the grade is really higher? I did not see a comment about this. I want to get the highest grade I can get. not the grade I put on the form
You don't need to put the grade on the form
I don't see a shipping label being created. So do we pay for shipping? If so, then why does PCGS charge for shipping insurance? Is that to cover return shipping only?
Yes, the shipping you pay to PCGS is for the return shipping. You pay the outbound shipping on your own
I found a rare one dollar bill note 2013 with a Red Seal stick under the official Black Seal (half ) ,,,,l think this Red Seal shouldn't be displayed in any way or form around or under
I have a decent 1881 O Morgan but it's probably not worth sending in I paid 42
i have a 1908 Selver coin
Can coins with errors be submitted with vouchers?
