Many fakes are 90% and are common dates so don't be fooled. Also there's many fake grading holders from GSA, PCGS and NGC.

I picked up 50 Morgan's & 25 Peace Dollars from a collector. All common dates sold just above melt value. Peace's are pretty much all 1922/1923. Morgan's are quite a few 1921's. None hold numismatic value. The resistivity came back on a Sigma Metalytics Precious Metal Verifier between 1.85 - 2.55 (in the range of the Sigma for Pre-1900 90% silver). All passed specific gravity testing right around 10.34. The weight is consistent with the physical wear to each coin. They also all passed the Bullion Test App on the Morgan/Peace dollar setting.
Even after all that, I still wonder if any could be fakes like the ones in this video. I'd love to collect more but you really do need a lot of knowledge. I would never catch the visual inconsistencies of the coins you showed.

I don't want to buy any Morgan Dollars except from your shop. I have learned what to look for, to an extent. But still it seems soooo risky. And btw, I'm an artist myself. I am pretty good at looking and studying things closely. But the counterfitters are getting pretty good, sometimes, too. Many of them are crappy, and if you just look at the fonts, I've noticed, they are sonetimes broken, and crappy. But sometimes you really have to pay CLOSE attention. It's getting harder and harder to do that, at age 67! haha I am working on a painting size 4'x 5' now. Easier to see the small details (they're big! hahaha) Well, I do love painting big... Anyway, I think buying Morgans from you is a safe bet.

Thank you. I have one heading for 200,000 and a couple more over 100,000 so I couldn't be more happy until all of them reach those marks!

There are still lots of these sellers on eBay and the worst part is people are actually purchasing these fakes! EBay could care less since they are getting their cut. Very discouraging.
