www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/gi...
Designed for heavy loads over long distance rugged rides, the Givi Trekker Monokey Topcase & Sidecase are designed with the ADV tourer and dualsport rider in mind. Available as a set of three, two, or individually, the Trekker cases are available in 33 liter and 46 liter storage capacities. A rugged, heavy-duty and no-frills design, these cases are a thick injected thermoplastic construction with an aluminum coating for durability. Each case can be converted to open as a clamshell or top-loader if mounted as a side case. Using Givi's bike-specific mounting system, the Trekker Monokey cases can handle heavy loads that are evenly distributed across the bike's frame. This is one of our favorites in the Givi line.
@karbono Unfortunately you would need to buy a new 3 piece lock set to have matching keys. The Givi Z228 3-Case Lock Set is $30. If you buy a trekker case it will earn you $15 off your next order. You'll get 1/2 off the new locks!
@pmg15 You can fit one helmet in each of the 46N boxes, unfortunately, two helmets won't fit in one of the 46N. -- Chris K.
According to the Givi website, the Trekker 33's are compatible with your bike. ~Ali
If you have an 02-11, you need an E528 for a Monokey topcase and a PL528 for the sidecases. -CK
The plate will fit your bike, but it is meant for MonoLock cases, not the MonoKey. For the Trekker you will need a bike specific MonoKey plate, which is an E528 for your bike. -CK
Shouldn't be a problem. The top case sits far enough above the sidecases not to interfere. -CK
When I set a 46 as a topcase on my 1200GSA, will I be able to open the (original adventure) side cases?
What would be the procedure to buy a new case with a lock that matches my old one's?
Givi produces hardware for the rear case for the Burgman 650, but I don't believe they have anything to use with side cases on this bike. -CK
I need to get the whole setup for my DL 1000 V-Strom. I'm super confused with the mount required. Could you please tell me which exact mounts I need to buy for a topcase and side cases to have these installed on my bike? Thanks
Is the GIVI E250 Topcase Plate ok to use with the Trekker 46 on a Vstrom 2012?
thank you, great video.
This 33 liter Trekker case compared to the Dolomiti DLM30: Which is the more robust cases and what is the size difference ?
I only have a small bike
Yamaha XT 250 (Serow 250 cc here in Japan) 'Touring edition' !
Having the case stick out too much or be too high is not so good.
Also, is the metal base or the plastic base stronger / better suited for the cases ?
Any problems with using this set up for 2 33's and one 46 on a Burgman 650 ?
Hey would a Shoei Hornet or equivalent helmet fit inside the 46N? I was not sure due to the peak on the helmet.
Can the trk33 fit a helmet?
Will these fit on BMW F650gs r13, I have exhaust pipes both sides just under seat
Can you tell me if 33 liter c
ase has a room for a helmet
Can someone please provide the complete inside dimensions of these products? The technical information on the Givi site is deplorable.
I want a kit for 2 bags and use daily one of them as top case. Then on trips mount them on the lateral. So o need lat mount, top case mount right? For cb500x
Yes, you need the PL1121 Side Case Racks (Type: w/ Install Kits for Adding to Top Case Rack) as well as the 1121FZ Top Case Support Bracket Kit (Type: Rack + Monokey Top Case Plate). Of course you also need a set of the Trekker cases. -DrewZilla

Hi. I purchased the Givi E55 Tech Monokey Top Case from Revzilla back in March. I'm looking for side cases now. After some research, I think I'm gonna go with the Trekker 46L for left and right. If I read correctly, the pairs come with an extra lock cylinder? If so, will that extra cylinder work with my E55 so I can have one key for all three?
Yes, the third cylinder will work for your E55. -DrewZilla

Does the 46 topcase enough for 2 modular helmets or i need to get the 52 topcase for this??
The 46 is too small. You would need the 52 for two helmets. -DrewZilla

I want it for my royal enfield classic 350
Is it have any specific racks for my bike?
Do it have any universal mount rack for all bikes
arpit arabinda badajena The Trekker is not designed for the Royal Enfield. Instead, you may want to consider a Givi Monolock case, which is lighter and comes with a universal mounting plate. You still need a metal rack to mount to though. -DrewZilla

I have installed to my Yamaha XSR900 2016 TREKKER OUTBACK OBK58B TOP BOX + 2115FZ RACK M8B BLACK. I m interested with Givi Trekker Monokey TRK46N for my side case. Do I need any modification to my bike? If it doesnt fit to my bike, what model is your recommendation for my bike side case? Thank you
I want to get either the 33 or the 46. I like the low profile look of the 33 but i think the 46 will work better for what i want. I want to purchase this for the passenger backrest ( i don't want a huge ugly looking 60liter case on the back ). I think the 33liter case is to short to be used as a comfortable back rest. any suggestion ? ( ktm 1190 ADV R )

Hi, its been sometimes i have been looking for a top box for my mt07, could you advise which one has a good looking and great capacity for me to place a 2 fullface helmet?
To hold 2 full face helmets and pair well with the MT-07, I'd recommend the Givi V47 Tech Monokey Top Case. In addition, you would need the Givi 2140FZ Top Case Rack. Keep in mind that with the compact design of the MT-07, the top case will appear pretty big in relation to the size of the bike. If you want to be able to hold two full-face helmets, though, it's the way to go. -DrewZilla

@@RevZilla or the Trekker 52? That's what I have. Two Schuberts no problem and same design.
I have a Harley Fatbob.
I am looking at either a 46 or the Outback 58 liter top case.
Does that even work for a Harley.?
Would it be odd looking?
kiran hill Also looking at
www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/givi-trekker-outback-42-liter-top-case
Do these work on Harley's?
kiran hill Givi Monokey Cases such as the Trekker and Trekker Outback cases you're considering require bike-specific mounts to support the maximum weight allowance of the cases (normally 10kg or 22 pounds INCLUDING the weight of the case itself). Since Givi does not make bike-specific mounts for Harley-Davidsons, you would need to use a Givi E251 Universal Monokey Top Case Adapter Plate mounted on a Harley rear rack. However, keep in mind that the E251 is not as reinforced as bike-specific mounts, so the E251 can only support 6kg or about 13 pounds INCLUDING the weight of the case you choose. Since you're looking at pretty big cases (especially the 58 liter case), you'd easily reach that weight limit.
So to answer your question, yes, these cases can work for a Harley, but cases as large as the 58 liter aren't really recommended due to weight concerns. As for the look, some might find it odd-looking, but it's up to you to decide! You'd probably be OK with the 46 liter case though. -DrewZilla

Does the 33 take a full-face helmet, or is it too short to accommodate one?
Also, is the 46 too big for a Triumph Street Twin?
The 33 liter case is a bit too narrow for a full-face helmet, as the external width is only 9.5 inches. The 46 liter case will fit many full-face helmets. The Trekker cases are a bit too big to be used as side cases on a Street Twin, but you can use the 46 liter case as a top case on the Street Twin (with Givi's specific mounting rack and plate). -DrewZilla

Thanks so much.
Can they be locked on the bike? for security.
the back rest e118 need to drill holes to the box?
Yes, installing the E118 (and the E133S) backrest requires drilling holes in the box. If you want to install the E120 or E142 luggage rack as well, that also requires drilling the box. -DrewZilla

Is there a key lock to remove it from the mounting rack so it wont get stollen
Yes, that function is combined with case opening mechanism, so you only need the one key and lock mechanism. When the case lid is locked, the case is also locked to the bike. -DrewZilla

Need to enquire abt the best price for Givi Trekker Monokey TRK33N (side cases).
I need to install it on my Himalayan, in Delhi, India.
What do you recommend for the versys-x 300?
We recommend a Trekker 46 on the left side and Trekker 33 on the right side. For a top case, you can use the 33, 46, or 52, but be careful not to put too much weight in a top case on the Versys 300. Remember that you need the specific side case and/or top case racks for the Versys 300. -DrewZilla

What about putting the 33ltr as a top case on a Honda CRF250L. Thanks
why not
@@roadwarrior8560 excatly... but will it mount to the bike?
Yes, you can for 2017-2018 models. Along with the 33L case, you would need the SR1159 Specific Rear Rack and the E251 Monokey Plate. -DrewZilla
@@RevZilla that's terrific... thank you!
Has anyone mounted them on a Dyna or the new Softails?
To mount as a top case on a Dyna or new Softail, you need a Harley flat rear luggage rack as well as the Givi E251 Universal Monokey Top Case Adapter Plate linked below. That plate allows you to mount a Trekker case on a Harley luggage rack. -DrewZilla

Hey I need for my versys300 but do you ship to india .
While we ship most items to India, we cannot ship large items such as Givi luggage. -DrewZilla
hey can you guys speed his voice up? sounds weird like this
Better have a water proof bag inside the side cases because the recessed latching area in the top of them is like a 2in.x3inx 2in funnel. Lots of water gets in. Top case is nice. Sides all around poor. I could go on about the side cases, but I'll stop here. Think before you buy!!!!
Mine don't leak any water, maybe the ones you have are faulty? is it the older version you have without the side latches?
Give feedback. Why wouldn't you?
@@roadwarrior8560 no offense but have you ridden very much or for very long in the rain with those side bags where does your water in the latch holes go when they fill up and you open it
No, it is not tall enough to fit a full-face helmet. -CK
