  • Givi Monokey Trekker Cases Review
    www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/gi...
The Trekker series is a super versatile line of hard luggage option for adventure and touring riders. The 33 and 46 liter side cases feature a dual-opening design and can also be used in the top box position. For riders looking for the maximum amount of storage possible there is also a massive 52 liter top box option. The Trekker lineup utilizes Givi Monokey PL or PLR racks while the top case will need a Monokey mounting plate and racking system or an adapter plate for an existing rack. The Trekker series is one of the coolest additions to the Givi family that we have seen in quite sometime.

Givi makes great cases. I’m planning on the 52L top case for my 1200GS, with the optional rack on top of that to tie down a tent and a couple sleeping bags. 💯

Love the Trekker 52 on my Honda CB500X. I thought it would look too top heavy but these cases look great on any bike.
    Thanks Spurge!

Dear RevZilla. Please inform what I need to buy to fit both top- and sidecases on my BMW F900XR. I would also like to know if there is both a fixed version and a quick release version as option, and in case yes please specify both. Thanks :-)

Does the trekker 52 and trekker 46 fit on the same rack?? I have a 46 on top now, want a 52. Will I need a different rack?

They both fit the same Monokey topcase racks, so you don't need a new rack. I have the 52 and love it. -DrewZilla

Which was the adapter you used for the 52lt on the top? Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Each adapter plate is bike-specific, so it all depends which bike you have. You can use our Shop By Bike feature to help determine your options. -DrewZilla

why dont you guys just write "beard scale difficulty" on the graphic instead of saying "bsd or beard scale difficulty" all the time? really distracting there.

I didnt mind it the first time but it was pointless for them to spell it out the second time. Do it once, then consider people smart enough to understand the acronym afterward.
