- I just wanted to share the truth about the reality of the business of youtube and how youtubers make money and are able to make a living off of youtube. I am so incredibly grateful to you my wonderful audience for watching my celebrity analysis videos and truly helping me become a youtube creator. In this video I also talk about adsense, sponsorships and affiliate links and how they help or do not help my channel. I hope to keep making youtube videos for years to come.

Just watched your hair transformation video and loved it! I just wanted to share some feedback - from a quick glace at the thumbnail and title, it wasn't totally clear it was a hair video. From a quick glace in the recommended bar it kinda read as a mommy makeover video. Since I'm not a parent, I wouldn't be inclined to click. Thought this might be worth sharing.
i’d stay stick to the plastic surgery videos and add affiliate links into those videos, your audience is already established and it isn’t going to suddenly change its preference. (Advice from a fellow content creator, its tough out here)
According to Starstat you make currently $16K/month in Adsense alone. As a content creator for over 10 years myself those are numbers I can only dream of. Really not understanding the tears here!!!

In EVERY SINGLE VIDEO about plastic surgery, Lorry puts a disclaimer that her comments are her opinion and speculation and to not send hate to anyone. Even if Doja was in the right (she’s not), there were other ways to go about it. Doja Cat’s actions were immature.

Lorry, you promote products in which you believe. TV channels with ads don't give their stars that choice, and nobody complains. There are plenty of people on the internet actually causing harm to others. You have done nothing wrong, and you provide us with informative and entertaining content. You help people to make decisions based on teh facts of surgery, and improve their self-esteem when they might compare themselves negatively to a celebrity. @@LorryHillplease consider setting up CZcams subscriptions! That way those of us who want to support you can do so and those who don't want to get affiliate link videos have the option not to. I would love to support you and to see the content that originally drew me to your channel... I'm just not interested in the affiliate stuff. I totally believe that you deserve to make money for your creations, but I'm not here for recommendations on makeup and stuff and seeing those videos has made me avoid your videos all together because of it. However if you had a subscription where people could pay a small amount monthly (low enough so that they can afford to support you and other creators) you would probably see a lot more people willing to help you out and support you for the content that they love. Please consider this! Also consider creating a digital evergreen product that you can sell that ties into plastic surgery as a topic. That's called a lead magnet.

They’ve all had to seek out platforms where they can store them and know they’re safe.They also are charging for memberships and different levels and people are paying . So there are many traps that CZcams creators can fall into. 1. Audience capture - where you feel the pressure of your audiences expectations. 2. Ad Pressure - where you feel the pressure of what the advertisers reward. 3. CZcams censorship pressure - where you are censored by CZcams or demonetized for your content. I hope a new platform comes to overtake CZcams and rewards creators more fairly.
There is Rumble where a lot of controversial and censored people have gone to. It's doesn't have the amount of ad support like CZcams though Bec it's fairly new and the type of people on there.

Sponsorships pay considerably more than adsense. Some creators who have carved a niche can still retain sponsorships and sustain themselves with much less adsense. It's almost impossible for youtubers to be sustainable full-time without sponsorships
I was a casual listener of Doja’s music, after all her scandals I was keeping an eye on her, when she insulted you it made me raise my brow.. but this is just enough. I’ll no longer support a person who has such low values and morals like her. We’ll always support you Lorry, keep being the authentic person you are, you’ve never been rude to anyone.

We support you Lorry! You’d be shocked at how much people love you and support you on other forums like Reddit. When stories about doja cat come up, people always post in support of you and how messed up that was of her to come after you. I wonder if the sponsors were to see those comments and the thousands of likes they get, if they’d reconsider and continue to sponsor your content.
This is so heartbreaking to hear, Lorry is one of the most gentle, transparent and kind youtubers out here who's teaching people to be kind to themselves! She always adds disclaimers multiple times in her videos and has always been anti bullying and anti shame.

It is pretty apparent from the video that this situation caused you a lot of stress and pain but you should always remember that you probably helped thousands of people and did nothing wrong, controversial or mean!

Even tho this is a bad situation, you have earned the skills to do videos about anything you want and maybe you should consider moving into a more general direction of beauty.
I would love to see you diving into the history of plastic surgery and maybe do long form documentary style videos, that would bring more opportunity’s for mid rolls and different sponsors!

I had a friend who had a nose job and she said that your nose is swollen for an entire year so you don’t really see how much smaller it is until the swelling goes down.
I haven’t googled anything about that because the Kardashians get rhinoplasty multiple times, and their noses never look swollen.

You are one of my favorite youtubers. In these last years the world has changed so much and we have never been more exposed to unrealistic beauty standards than we are now. Mental health issues are on the rise, as well as people becoming more and more isolated in this post pandemic society. Getting trapped in your own thoughts and anxiety is a shared experience, in a world where it feels like everyone is perfect and happy all the time. I can't imagine what it must be like for the kids growing up right now. Your channel is of a unique kind, you have been brave enough to call out the madness of pretending all the beauty we see today is natural. Celebrities' whims should not be above the mental health of the people they influence and profit off. Your honesty, transparency and realness is very much appreciated and needed. As someone who tried to be a creator, I can totally confirm that even if you start out with a niche, you will most likely be forced to bransch out, especially into consumables, because the algorithm likes that you have more than one tune in your repertoir, so to speak.

Hi Lorry! As someone who is very interested in ways to monetise content creation, I believe exclusive content on a CZcams members area would definitely help you a lot. We can’t really rely only on sponsors forever so creating any type of info products (exclusive content, beauty consulting, online courses etc) are the way to go and be independent

Income ideas:
1. Merch - have you considered selling products with your name or logo on them? I've been told this is the most profitable way a CZcamsr can earn money and keep it.
2. You could start a CZcams "community" in which viewers can "join" for I think a minimum of $2.99 per month. You can create different tier levels and offer perks.
3. Have you considered doing livestreams? I haven't seen those in "beauty CZcams", but I watch a lot of varied content and these are really popular. Also, people can "thank you" monetarily on those.
The drawback to options 2 and 3 are that CZcams keeps a certain percentage for itself. I don't know any more particulars though.
4. Patreon?
Content creation is very hard work and it's obvious that you put tens of hours into each video.
Views: Since the new YT CEO took over in March 2023, a lot of the smaller channels I follow across a number of genres unrelated to each other have really struggled to get views. Channels that used to get 2000 views in 4 hours every day started struggling to get 100 views in 4 hours since then. Two days later, they'll be lucky if they have 1000 views. I've primarily noticed those with channels under 20,000 subs, and it's even worse for those under 1000.
Your channel may be affected by this as well. I'm always surprised when I see a channel that has 100,000 subs but only 5000 views per video. ??
Amazon links - for people outside the USA, Amazon's website automatically redirects to the person's home country. Do you still receive commission from a non-US resident using your link as a starting point?

Lorry, you deserve all the support and happiness possible, I’m sorry that you have to go through such unnecessary drama over your thoughtful, knowledgeable, interesting videos, and that someone like Doja can watch one and listen to your honest and observant opinions and not see your incredibly sweet admiration and respect towards everyone, including her! You are transparent and relatable and informative about the actual surgeries bc of experience of getting them done personally and that perspective is valuable to viewers like me (who are interested in getting procedures as well as celebrity work) and you are so classy and compassionate about everything! I ❤ your channel and look forward to new content. I guess it goes with the territory in the Internet to have critics, but things are developing rapidly these days and you must adapt and some people don’t get that, but I think having the two incomes thing is legit (I just read somewhere recently how important that is for having children) and that’s just good business sense ☺️

Lorry, you explained this so well, with so much honesty and feeling. Most of us have NO idea what it takes to make decent, deserved money on a CZcams channel, and how it can change and get harder for all kinds of difficult reasons. We also, unless we're really paying attention, have almost no sense of what I'm guessing could be the 30 to 50 (or more?!) hours that go into your celebrity-focused videos. You are very responsible about your content, and with this subject you just can't do that without an incredible amount of research. And then editing: I've never edited a video even once. But even so, I know a well-edited video takes a LOT of time.
So: Please just keep going with your truly valuable videos. I have not yet watched your newer ones, but with your standards I have no doubt that they are top notch. 💗💗💗
