I have been cutting out rotten window timbers all week with one of those multi tool blades. I swear they actually last longer than my smart or erbauer ones! And only 35p!!!!!!

Use a steel rule that is thinner and lightly scrape edge ruler is tightened to.. Dirt gets compressed in groove under ruler and makes un-square. Will be like new.
Great tip. Tbf I used to leave some of my tools in Coke to get the crap off! Haven’t done it in a while.
I will be cleaning it this weekend!

They make multi blade sharpeners to ReSharpen the blades but it's a price and money thing.
