THEY PLAYED US LIKE A DAMN MIDDLE FINGER!!!
HAHA!
i should fulton this guy and sign him to R&D unit !
coming back to this video after 8 years and it's just as good as i remember it being
The video is mainly about the middle fingers.
I am just sitting here, counting middle fingers
+VguessWho
The Diamond Dogs R&D Artificial Limbs Laboratory is aware of this glitch in the bionic arm's programming and are working around the clock to fix this error. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Youre on my R&D team now
Possibly the most detailed diy video ever. great job! Can't wait to eff this up.
can you please provide us with the templates please
Great video!
I've been wanting to make my own bionic arm, but had no clue where to start. Thank you so much for making this tutorial.
You're very welcome! I hope it helps and best of luck to you!
you totally just saved my butt with this. everyone else has really vague instructions but yours are great! thanks for this and it looks so awesome!
+Cara Kennedy No problem! That's the whole reason I decided to make this video! You're welcome, and thanks for watching! :)
Do you think this would also work for a McCree arm from overwatch?
Just finished building mine. Awesome tutorial man! Added a bit more from other vids of this but yours was actually a tutorial.
+El Destino Haha, thanks a lot! I tried to make the steps as detailed as possible, and I appreciate you checkin it out.
Also was the forearm piece mounted onto a foam sleeve?
Whoa, great tutorial. It'll definitely come in handy! (bad joke not sorry)
Dem middle fingers though 0_0
I adore the look of it, and want one of my own. I know the template you made isn't exact, but do you still have it so that I can use it as a template?
where can i find the squematics??
You wouldn't happen to have any of these for sale? I mean I will be able to do it, but it's just in case I bugger it up.
Could you give us the link for the templates pls?
where do i get the blueprints? D.
great video man
do you remember the manufacturers name for the gloves? I'm trying to look for those exact gloves.
thank you
Beautiful, perfect, love it. Thanks!
Can you give me the patreon? I really sucks to draw the bionic arm :(
I want to buy it
Colonel I’m trying to sneak around ,but I’m dummy thicc ,and the clap of my ass cheeks keeps alerting the guards.
Awesome dude Mr Kojima has to see this along with the rest of the costume
THis is awesome! Thx for posting!
for a diy cosplay can you make genjis 2 swords
Thanks for the tutorial man its gonna help allot
So I went into Joan's Fabric and asked for some craft foam, and they looked at me like I had two heads. Where can I find that stuff?
More general craft stores like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby might have it. If all else fails, Amazon definitely sells it.
Try doing the plating on the inside of the hand as well to make it more realistic
The text on the thumb says: " CAUTION Overhaul must be done at designated workshops"
Really good looking arm~ but I'm wondering, it looks quite tough and thick, did you use lots of the thin stuff and layer it up or did you use a thicker foam for part of it?
Hey, thanks for checking it out! :) For my arm, I did the first sleeve layer with the thin foam and made the upper panels with a thicker foam to give it the tougher metallic look. Thanks for the great question!
+JetFalco Thanks for the advice, I'm painting my first attempt at the arm based on the Hand of Jehuty at the moment, not managed to go get gloves yet though. Not bad so far, but I'll probably end up doing a second one to iron out the kinks.
This is going to be helping me make Nero's Devil Breaker from Capcom's Devil May Cry4
im pretty new to prop making, so how many sheets of each type of craft foam would you reccomend
I got through about 4 sheets of medium and maybe 2 thicker.
Totally be making this!
Dank
No but seriously, great tutorial! I saw OtakuAndFit's tutorial on this, and both yours and his are on par, but yours seems much less labor-intensive. I've been looking for a tutorial like this, so many thanks for uploading it!
+Mac Twish Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment! :D
To be fair, Andrew's tutorial is for building a more motion-based and durable arm that will most likely last a lot longer and be a great showpiece...
...whereas mine is definitely - like you said - less labor-intensive and aimed for more of a casual cosplayer and photo ops.
Anyways, I'm really glad you enjoy my tutorial and I hope I've made it easy and fun enough for you to create an end product you love.
I'm not english so i didn't understand the signs on the glow and on the arm :c can you write them here?

Sure, I'd love to help. At the time I made mine, I could only find these pictures that were blurry technabob.com/blog/2015/12/13/mgs-v-venom-snake-bionic-arm/

Drinking game. Take a shot everytime he gives you the finger.
Awesome video! Where can I find the pattern you made?
I wasn't able to make a pattern that satisfied anyone's needs. Nearly 95% of people's forearms are quite a bit longer than a typical sheet of paper, so no stencil would ever be just right. You need to get a larger-than-normal sheet of craft paper from a craft store (possibly poster paper) and pencil one out until it fits you just right. Trial and error is the only way to get a stencil that's just right for you. That's why I made a sample image you can base your own stencil on at 4:35. I can't supply a perfect stencil for everyone as I would need to physically be there to measure your arm, so this is the next best thing. Hopefully that helps.
@@JetFalco thank you!
Afghanistan's a big place
Perfect!
could this work for a Bucky metal arm??
Yeah, I think the concept and general setup would be similar. However, a Bucky cosplay arm would need a lot more layers and panels, carefully planned out to create a realistic muscle-arm look that is still snug enough to not look bulky, while still allowing a good range of movement.
love it!
this arm is fuckin awesome
How big are the foam sheets supposed to be? A4 size?
At least as long as most of an adult male’s forearm. I just picked up the typical craft foam sheets that are precut at most craft stores. I believe they are 12” x 18”.
@@JetFalco I see. An A4 sheet is apparently around 8"x12", so I guess that's way too small. The thing is, I have checked pretty much all the online stores based in my country, and all of them sell only A4 size, so I guess I might have to order those sheets from abroad. Does this material go by any other name other than "EVA foam"?
@@tritonewt3344 This is very similar to the material I used, in varying thickness, and has been high rated by cosplayers: www.amazon.com/Sheets-Craft-Cosplay-Thickness-1-10mm/dp/B07BL1Z19L/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=craft%2Bfoam&qid=1608686664&sr=8-7&th=1
You have a problem with flicking us off and Jesus what an amazing tutorial. This video will be my bible for the next few days, thank you very much.
+David Saylor You are very, very welcome. Thanks for watching and good luck with your arm!
+JetFalco lol actually im watching your video again right now cause im about to finish up.
+David Saylor Be sure to post a link to a pic! I would love to see it. Would be good to know if my tutorial is actually effective or not. LOL
+JetFalco oh no it was helpful, problem is I'm going all out on my first try so it doesn't look nearly as good as yours. Im trying to add a recording module somewhere but I need it done by Friday lol. Only small problem I could think of was you could go more in depth on how you made it but personally its great just the way it was.
ur a legend in the eyes of dimond dogs
can u send me a model for that ?
do a cardboard box made out of springy steel. like those kids tents so you can fold it up and put it in your pocket then pull it out and hide in it.
He played us like a damn fiddle
Can I just pay you to make me one this is a really good tutorial but I suck at this stuff. I like the video it's very good and awesome.
Sorry where did you get the pattern to cut out the parts? did you draw it yourself?
Yeah, I just came up with a rough blueprint of what it should look like based on the images of the real 1:1 scale model posted online.
@@JetFalco very cool, i try to do The same things 🥲
@@frustagabbiani2329 Good luck! :)
Dude, this guy is fucking hilarious!
Are you the guy that was selling these originally? Cool.
Haha, no, that was another cool guy. www.otakuandfit.com/venom-snake-cosplay-arm-tutorial-metal-gear-solid-v/
