I don’t know if you fully realize it yet, but you are already a legend when it comes to bringing historical weapons and fighting to the masses. Not even exaggerating, sword companies have upped their game because of your reviews, new generations of people are educated on proper weapon manufacturers and styles, and you even created the “pommel” meme that has been going for years, and that’s just some of the reasons you’re a legend. Like you said i very often find myself overwhelmed by "confrontation" with people even when i have the suspect they are taking advantage of me ,( i am a kind of paranoid) expecially if they act friendly before( this got better with time) ,even when speaking with someone i am friendly with .

Drinks 101 they have changed since edo period and that makes a difference, it makes it difficult to identify anything, I mean the tachi originally predated the katana, a horsemans sword, traditional samurai weapons were the bow and the spear, thry were mounted mercenaries. There wasn't any length deciding what kind of sword people had etc, they were all kinds of sizes made to order based on the samurais hight and what he wanted, and when they were damaged in battle or handed down in tne family they were often reshaped in knives, spears etc, those blades cost the equivalent of millions in todays money.
Then they became a symbol of wealth, it pretty much started around the time guns reached japan, they became a symbol of status and thats when things get confused, a wealthy man would carry a full set of katana, wakizashi and tanto to show off his wealth, they started getting classified by lengh and thats actually made it hard to classify older weapons because they were made at a time before all that nonsense.
I like that sword he has there but it looks like something from WW2 to me, perhaps thats what its based on

The sica was more of an all-purpose knife, with uses ranging from foraging and farming, to cutting animals, and even skinning, if it has both sides sharpened (at least for a few cm on the back of the blade), and even religious uses, apparently obtaining one when one became recognized as an adult..

A good example is the bleed infused spike mace, it has a true 3 hit combo that bleeds most opponents. And if you've leveled luck to 60 it sometimes only takes 2 out of the 3 hits.

I don't want to sound mean, but that scythe is ridiculous as anything other than a wall hanger. There are so many aspects of it which don't really take traditional scythe construction into consideration (and traditional scythes are meant to cut grass and light vegetation. The angle of the primary blade does not lend itself well to large sweeping cuts. In fact, it looks like you would practically need to reach over a target and pull backwards to effectively engage the blade, and that is a bad strategy if you care about combat effectiveness. The straight haft is sub-optimal for effectively cutting with the blade in a scything motion, and aside from being awkward also makes edge alignment and control very difficult (there is a reason real scythes have perpendicular handles and an "S" shaped haft). Also, the blades look like they have a tang which penetrates the haft, and is affixed with rivets through the haft. A successful scything blade strike against an unyielding target is gong to generate a lot of torque, and that may well lead to the rivets being sheared trough and/or the haft splitting apart along the wood grain. Most agricultural scythes have a socket style of engagement to the haft (and cutting grass doesn't create much torque).
