I listen to the we built a thing podcast. But I am only a kid. Still I love it.
Edit had a real Diresta vibe!
I'm only 73% that cool.
Great build, Mark! The vanity looks really nice. I do have one grievance though: There's a substantial lack of hidden unnecessary walnut being used.
You gave me a few great ideas for our future bathroom remodel.
This one was #necessacherry all the way!
Great job. Looks amazing. I didn’t mind the edit as I’m sure most of us have heard or done cabinets.
Awesome! Thank you!
It used to be that you had to get massive views on your videos to make CZcams happy. Now you just need to please the algorithm. (And commenting pleases the algorithm.). All hail the algorithm. Seriously though, my kid's bathroom has a stock / builder vanity and I'm finishing my basement which has no vanity and this video helps. I really like the idea of a drawer vs the wasted space under the vanity.
You sir, get it. I recite a little chant to the Algorithm just before I publish any new video. I'm glad this one helped you out!
Great job man! I love hearing about it on WBAT then seeing the YT vids to follow. Well done!
Awesome! Thank you!
I get, what you said about having done detailed videos on all the different steps of building doors and so on, but I would have appreciated a little break in timelapse hell. May be I'm old, but one or two sentences just to break it up and give me time to breathe would have been nice. Best wishes and good luck from Germany
It's not for everybody, but it's so much easier in the editing process to just speed things up instead of writing a script and recording it all. Don't worry, this isn't the new standard. The next video will be back to voice over.
Looks awesome, great video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed that thanks😊
Thank you!
Great work
Thank you!
I like how you didn't have to use a ton of plywood for this. Plywood cabinets are great, but this is a good approach for a vanity that's never going to move and can easily be built in place. :)
Glad you liked it!
Love the edit-style, and not that we don't want to listen to you, the non-narrative style worked really well for this episode - plus, I picked up a couple ideas for my current wall build-out project from this!
I figured this one kinda explained itself. Thanks for confirming my theory!
That turned out great despite the dummy's best efforts to make you have to think.
Hey Mark, your video actually showed up in my feed and I didn’t have search for it. It’s probably because of how fast you were working. Great build.
Haha, fantastic!
People use the CZcams home page? Mine is defaulted to subscriptions so I don't miss the creators I like. I get suggestions for new stuff on the pages of those videeos. I just don't trust the algorithm to show me the stuff I want to see rather than the stuff YT thinks I want to see.
The vanity turned out beautiful and it was cool to hear some “shop sounds” but I think I prefer to hear you talk through things as you go because of your sense of humor. Even though you’ve done all these things before, you’ve never built this exact vanity before…
Either way, it turned out cool and I’m looking forward to the next part!
Thanks for the feedback! The voice over style definitely isn't going away, but it does take longer. So in this case it was nice to be able to just crank the video out and move on.
@@GunflintDesigns Yea definitely better than no video at all! Most of my projects don’t get filmed because I just need to get them done haha!
I appreciate your video editing, informative and efficient.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really beautiful work, Mark! It turned out amazing! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you very much!
I can see a red edge at the rear of the sink
Good eye. And I’m guessing you’re a podcast listener! I’ll be covering that up shortly.
Cherry????? What happened to all walnut???
I'm just following orders.
No VO is fine. Just like those old Jimmy Diresta videos.
I actually forgot about those! Man now I look like a copycat!

Nah, just call it a shoutout! 😄
This feels wrong. Where's the #unnecessarywalnut at?
This time its #necessacherry!
