You just do you ! Post when you can…and we will watch
I appreciate that!
I have a similar blind and we added an old trailer axle to the roof so that when you lay it down, it’s on the tires and can be moved with the tractor like a trailer. Just a thought so that you wouldn’t have to take the metal off the front. Good hunting
That's a really good idea!!
might be worth going ahead and doing the front, but building a sled to tilt onto and drag to site.
That's not a bad idea!
Great video, built a very similar stand last summer and will be taking my youngster turkey hunting for the first time in a couple of weeks!
That's outstanding! Good luck to both of you!
@@GunflintDesigns Good luck to you guys as well. By the way, I don't know if you ever mentioned where the gun show was on your podcast. I bet a few of us Minnesotans would come see you!
Nice new format Mark!
Glad you like it!
Great video can’t wait to see what else you do
Thanks!
Happy to see Matthew Broderick doing a woodworking vlog!😊
Does that mean I look like him?
@@GunflintDesigns we've been watching you for years and always thought you sounded & looked like Broderick! You would make my day if you started a video with "life moves pretty fast...."
I just asked my wife and she doesn't see it... but I guess there's worse people I could look and sound like!
Lovely to see you concealment cabinet man. Looking forward to watching more of your vblog
Much appreciated!
Awesome stuff, Mark! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you! Will do!
Bro love the vlog. Glad to see you back putting out videos. oh and heard about the goose hunt at least you got a few birds.
It was sill a fun trip, but vastly different than we expected.
I hear you with the lone wolf thing. How does this sound (and I know this might be a toughie for someone whose old day job was working with camera gear etc), but just make stuff and film it, and we will watch? End maybe throw the dad jokes in at the end again.. they were great. Keep up the great work mate
I just finished editing Vlog #2 for later this week. Better stay to the end of that one...
Congrats on the new router table! When i got my woodpeckers router table in 2022 i was AMAZED at the difference. routing operations are insanely accurate now. i did use the jessem lift with the incra plates though cause i love the dust collection on it. many people underestimate the router table
I'm really looking forward to putting it to work. The fit and finish is really impressive, and I'm glad to hear you think its as good as was hoping!
You just have to publish more than Bruce and Drew lol
Haha, I'll do my best!
Hope you have many, many successes and fond memories in the new stand!
Thanks, me too! GOtta get those boys hooked and raise my own hunting buddies.
Having the steel bend at the joint will eventually break as the metal will get brittle over time as the door is opened and closed. Looking cool though
Yeah I figured that, but I bet this door won't get opened more than a dozen times a year, so it might last a long time that way.
@@GunflintDesigns true, worth a try and if it fails you could always add a rubber flap or something then. Also, I think I may be between you and Canada so I'll try to stand outside and block some wind for you next storm 🤣
Well now you are onto something there. I could just cut the joint now intentionally and throw a long strip of neoprene over the whole seam.
And if you want to hold back some of that snow and wind for me it would be appreciated!
Love this type of content! It is "real" and relatable. Good stuff man!
Glad you enjoy it!
videos of meaningful projects being made == content
videos of production line making things to sell != content
talking head videos also != content
Exactly, it's all content as long as someone wants to watch it!
Do what Ron Paulk does. 3 minute videos with the 1st half the same every time then rest of the video has no details and is mostly off camera.
Love and use his benchs and accessories but lately videos are lacking. Oh and make sure you do shorts on all your old videos.
I know hate the game not the player.
Good advice!
