You messed up your own test

I was curious about your vertical mounting results of your CNC? I see in this video it's back to horizontal. What issues were you having to switch it back? Really want that to work for my own small shop space but haven't been too convinced yet that it'd actually work out as a permanent solution.

In the beginning, you sounded like you were in a well. After you came back with everything connected, you sound really clear. Good sound quality.

I know. I'm old and grumpy and prefer R&B - Eric Clapton, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, and the like-- but YOUR music is just too -- irritating. Maybe you could find something a little less chaotic???

The mic definitely was way different. When you first switched over, I thought you were doing voice over. I thought that nibbler would be game changing for me too but found it to be very limited in what it can do.

the mouthbreathers that complain about "expensive" tool use were never going to build it in the first place. having to go outside and ask for free pallet wood is too much for "some people", they also have no critical thinking skills, cant use their brain to substitute to what they have on hand.

Great video! I'm a long-time fan of the Stonecoat channel, I've done a sink top and coffee table top with Stonecoat. Same experience - start out really questionable, but looks awesome in the end. Keep up the good work, I just subscribed to you channel. God bless!

It's great to see you both working on a project together, and it's great to see you weren't killed in the process, Mark lol. That outcome is amazing, and good call on putting a tarp on the floor before the pour.. that could have been a pain to clean up.

Could not finish. Since mineral oil is a petroleum product and not an oil that firms a real finish like walnut, did you try same experience with walnut or other oil ? Mineral oil can just leach out and never coalesce into a true finish ? Jack in Idaho

The sad part is all the triggered people about the tools and free scrap pieces to use to build a target are most likely people who will never even try to build one regardless of having the tool or not. The people who are going to actually build something don't stop because they lack the tool needed to do it, they either go buy the tool, or they go buy the target already made. I love watching how-to video's but hate having to listen to them explain to the complainers. It takes away from the professionalism of the how-to video. Feel like I am back n school when the teacher asks if there are any questions and the idiots in class who were talking during the lecture ask a question on something that was just answered/explained. Love the lack of owning a stapler comment =)

Is it bad that I thought you'd already released this video? Between instagram and the podcast I knew the basic story, but the video was not a waste of time and I'm glad you made it. I like the new format of weekly video journal (since you hate the more commonly accepted term) with a project video every month or two.
