- After UFC 278 Usman vs Edwards 2 took place and Edwards won by head kick KO, Usman's daughter was seen crying in the crowd. This is my reaction with a breakdown of other situations like McGregor, Cerrone, and recently Sam Alvey, let me know what you guys think in the comments below.

I get eventually wanting your kids to come and watch your fight but the idea that them turning three years old means they are ready for it is just nonsense, fighters act like they are doing it so "my kids get the experience" they aren't even gonna remember it when they are an adult, fighters know they are doing it for themselves to have that experience and need to think about what they are doing to their kids if things go wrong, or even in some cases right with Drakkar Klose.
They aren’t gonna remember it cause their 3 but they can choose their gender 😂
This video right here is the most important one no one talks about
If you bring your kids and lose, the winner should be able to slap the kids a couple times
Now you care about Usman's daughter now 🤡

Super necessary

Dead 🤣🤣
a kid might not even understand the concept of being ko’d. if they see their father or mother get knocked out laying on the ground unconscious they could think that they’re dead.
Yeah even if its a submission like in movies when somebody gets choked and they pass out it usually means they're dead.
She legit thought he was dead
guess theyll earn it will young then. be a step ahead in the reality of what violence is and that it has consequences
@Oodles of Noodles unfortunately its a necessity for these kids because the environment they are in

When Mike Tyson was asked why he didn't want his kids to become boxers, he said; " because one day they might face someone like me."
Damn, that's mean lol 😱
Hopefully he won't rape them this time
The worst one recently was Sam Alvey. He brought like 4 kids to his fight IN THE APEX and got absolutely mauled.
That one was hard to watch. The whole fight was a beat down while it lasted
😂😂😂😂😂 and he was probably smiling the whole way home😂😂😂😂
I bet they are used to it at this point with Sam Alvey 🤣
@@KingDomsKingdom85 I mean maybe that’s true and the worst part is he probably think he’s teaching them a lesson about staying positive which he always is but smiling after losing 9 times in a row is not normal😂 I hope he teaches his kids if things are going that way, you might wanna switch to something else😂😂😂

I remember when Chandler KOd Ferguson, he wanted his son to come into the Octagon. He looked very hesitant and a bit shocked about what his dad just did.

I was cringing. The kiddo looked so uncomfortable and freaked out.
@Maxwell dude, even though he's adopted he's Chandler's son. Maybe not biologically, but still
@Maxwell grow up
@@David-hb9mf are they biologically related?
That Pat Barry sting, oh shit. Btw, I try not to watch MMA when my kid is up and going around. She walked in on a Nate Diaz fight once and after five minutes of trying to explain to her that they had both agreed that this was okay, I conceded that violence is never the answer, put peppa pig on her tablet, and continued silently rooting for Nate. This was how concerned she was for a stranger, imagine if that was someone she loved getting opened up and choked out and it was in person. And there's a hundred thousand people cheering the roof off the rafters. God, I feel sorry for Usman's girl.
Usman got too cocky and I was happy seeing him get kod until I seen the daughter crying didn't even know she was there she will never forget that which is pretty sad I couldn't imagine my father being kicked out cold
Remember Hap , Chandlers son after the Ferguson KO? He wanted nothing to do with his dad. Pulled away from kisses and hugs from dad.
He even wore a mask at home until the swelling went down. His poor kid must have been totally freaked out for him to do that. Yet he still joked about it in front of his child
Yooo fr what the hell, even grown adults were floored and shocked by seeing Tony drop like that. And then chandler does like 10 back flips, imagine being a child and seeing that lmaoooo
Kids are very smart naturally. Parents not so much 😅
I remember Michelle Waterson’s daughter who was very young at the time, in tears after seeing her mother battered to pulp. She’s trying to tell her daughter that ‘it’s ok. Mommy’s fine’ while her face was a swollen, bleeding mess. Why do they subject their children to that?
One of the best videos you've ever made. Well spoken and thought out points that delivers a serious message to anyone who brings their child to UFC events.
Ok betaboy
100%, if there's only one Guru vid you ever watch, let it be this one
Usman had his daughter in ring after winning 2 or 3 times. I actually critisised that at the time and was unpopular in the comments. I guess his defenders now have some soul searching
... ask them to look for Kamarus whilst they are searching their own, will ya mate?
Not really,,, I think a lot of what is being said in these comments,,, if extrapolated into other atreas of life as well,, is why kids are growing up fragile af XD Kids gotta see the reality of life before they become even more delusions taking good ideas WAY to fucking far because of overly protective parents or similer
@@LetsSufferTogether If kids need to see somone get knocked out I doubt it's their parents that they need to see it from.

I cried as a child when I rushed to the hospital in 1985 to see my dad with tubes stuck all in him after being hit by a train. It was traumatizing. He lived another 31 years though, then I got traumatized by seeing him on an incubator after his health turned for the worse after thinking he was getting out of ICU in another week or two. The whole family went out to dinner thinking he was OK.

that's rough. Childhood trauma can really mess you up long term if you dont deal with it correctly wish i knew that sooner ..i watched my neighbor get shot through her window when i was 13..i can still hear the exact sound of her sons screams when i think about it. that was the first murder i saw but wouldnt be the last .took me almost 20 years to realize this kind of shit wasnt normal. and that most people dont witness that kind of violence .my dad overdosed pretty young it was hard cope with but watching someone's life be taken for next to no reason really fucks you up for the long run..anyway yeah sorry for selfishly talking about myself on your post ..just felt the need to share

The Pat Barry line ffs Guru that's outa pocket !! 😂😂👌
Thank you Guru for speaking to this, I’ve never understood small children being exposed to the brutality of the fight. Nate Diaz has said also, “Children have no place at ufc events” paraphrasing but he gets it.
Guru’s social credits after making this video 📈. All jokes aside respect to you Guru for making this video on the more reality hitting part of MMA. This isn’t a game this is a sport where lives are shortened by several years and where brain damage is aquired
12:25 I'm sorry, but the idea of a robber head-kicking Usman during a 3am burglary is hilarious.
Thank you for this - just crazy to me that fighters bring their children. Even if they win by KO, why on earth would you want your kids to see you inflict that on another human and celebrate that? Sickening
Definitely, it's different seeing it live and in the flesh than just watching it on the TV. Especially when it's their mum or dad. Kamara's poor daughter probably thought he had died
They only think of them selfs, it's disgusting really.
You literally celebrate that happening and it’s the reason you watch the sport.
Great video. Even Conor admitted that he doesn’t want to bring his family to his fights.
i remember conor bringing their parents
@@octavioenriqueromerocorona1997yeh his parents are like 50 years old . They aren’t children
i think some fighters think fighting is normal. not just acceptable normal but regular normal like working in an office. they are also delusional alot of the time, believing they cant lose despite the overwhelming evidence that they will almost certainly lose at some point.
I saw a something talk about this on Twitter. They said "how was he supposed to accounted for this outcome?" in a sport where 1 shot changes everything, you need to account for that outcome. Very young children shouldn't be watching mma, let alone be at the event live. Put them in jujitsu or boxing or whatever martial art, but wait until they're a little older to show them someone getting flatlined.
Put them in boxing or other martial arts where they themselves can take brain damage but don't let them witness a grown adult doing said martial arts? Wow what a smooth brain take this is.

Completely agree with ya. This reminds me of actor Jason Mamoa talking about bringing his kids to their first movie premier for the film "Dune," and he thought they were old enough to watch it, that is until it dawned on, (spoilers ahead for "Dune Part 1"), right when his character made his valiant last stand before get sliced/diced and stabbed to death. He was terrified that watching their dad get killed in a film would emotionally scar them. Thankfully they appear fine that didn't keep him from kicking himself for not thinking this through before making the decision to bring his kids to their first appearance at a movie premier that their dad stared in. Now that's a film, ie - not real. Whereas Usman being ko'd and then lying pretty much motionless - he prolly looked dead to his kids for a second there. So if Mamoa worried about scarring his kids, (who were bout the same age as Usman's), watching their dad get killed on screen, then maybe you should be a bit more worried about scaring your kids cuz you got laid the fuck out - in real life.
Yeah man I was worried for usman after the ko, and Im a random full grown man who bet on Leon
I've been saying this about boxing for thirty year! When I was nine I saw my 17 year old brother get knocked out in the golden gloves! It was demoralising as I thought he was unbeatable? It's a tough thing to see as a child!
Maybe you should of been taught that any man can fall. They mislead you to believe a human was unbeatable thats the demoralizing part...
Good lesson to learn. No one is unbeatable.
Me as a teenager who is big fan of mma, seeing a person get slumped in front of me for the first time was kinda scary, i can only imagine what a kid must feel like
Spot on. I was surprised Chandler brought his kid. Hes one of the few fighters I would think would have enough sense not to do this

I'm glad that you're bringing this up. And you are right, bringing, not just children, but your family to a fight isn't really good. I'm 21 years old and man, I wouldn't like to see my father get a beat down in the cage. And some children are forced to see this at even younger age. That shit can legitimately traumatize you. And even when you turn it around, when your father fucks up somebody badly, you don't really want to see that either. I remember watching Jiří vs Reyer fight. I was rooting for Jiří and the way Jiří knocked him out and Dom just falling lifeless to the ground, I always jerked my head each time they turned on the highlight. Can't imagine what something like this must be for a family member. Especialy a child. So watching Kamaru just go out cold, that shit must have been traumatizing for his daughter. Same Jiří vs Glover. I was rooting again for Jiří, but I liked Glover, I grew a fond of him and then I saw how Jiří was just mauling him on the ground in the 3rd round, he was just lying there bloody, just covering up and I legit was feeling sorry and bad and I wanted the fight to be just over. And Glover is a complete stranger to me, but watching him compete for so long, I built some emotional attachment to him. So seeing that, I wasn't feeling good. Can't imagine what a wife or a child can feel in moments like this.
agreed. the dom one especially, anyone who loved him would be beside themselves
Awesome video- TY
As a father I understand wanting to have your children there for the different things that go on in your life. I also understand that there's a time in a place for everything. I completely agree Is with the point you are making. Young children have no business being at a UFC event. Sometimes I think the fighters themselves are being selfish, just thinking that if they bring their kid into the ring they will win favor with fans or something like "look at what a great family guy I am"... I think it does quite the opposite.
They should bring them but have them be baby sat In The back etc
