Burying logs and stumps is a recipe for future sinkholes. Wood decays, water fills the void, and then you get erosion from within. Hopefully you are far enough to the exterior of the property to not matter. Just don't add any out buildings in those areas. Another great video!
They said they were never going to build anything there anyway. But I agree that they need to have mounds of soil on top of the spots where the logs are.
True, you can never get the proper soil density in burying logs. It certainly will settle a few feet over the years to come.
Burying ORGANICS ( LOG) is risky!! good thing documented.
Don’t forget Carpenter Ants!!!! Im a construction worker and landscape on the side - and time and time again when we go to property’s that has buried tree stumps 7-10 years ago they are everywhere!!! Yikes.
That’s a nice piece of land you guys were looking at. You may regret burying those logs and stumps though when they rot your gonna have big sinkholes everywhere.

The last house I owned the previous owners paved the driveway over stumps. What a mess when those things rotted out
It's a great idea but they left to much space in between the logs. When they rot away its going thr create gaunt holes. They should've kinda did a dirt filler method so when they rot away the blow back won't be so bad

While getting a huge piece of land is a great idea, ask Cleetus.. Buying land near budding subdivisions and annoying HOA's is extremely risky and a huge gamble at 1.5 million for something that has been for sale for 2.5 years.
That’s for sure. HOA’s will make their lives a living hell once they (HOA ) move in.
But one thing I have learn, you can give young folks some serious advice but it’s a matter of them taking it.

Absolutely! They should have just built their homes out there. Preserve and enjoy the land and keep it from being taken over by a subdivision. I'd love to have a home and small ranch on that property.

its crazy how 4 years ago u just started on a gt mustang still workin at the parents place in that little tent to owning your own shop,2 houses, and a 130 acre property and now workin on lambos and ferraris and porches. you guys came so far and inspire me everytime i watch a video
They didn’t buy that 130 acre property
The key here is that their family is long in business, especially house construction and they have had some initial capital to start with. They earn only from CZcams and merchandise mostly, as they do rarely sell the cars and they spend quite a lot of money on them to make them "OEM" which is more for the video, than for earnings, so they are not really profiting that much from their car repairs. Also they are taking loans to buy all the properties and build there. In the end, they still need to keep their income stream steady to pay for the credits. Also their sister is involved to help with the business and the whole family is working towards this goal. Also consider, that many things they do themselves, including building their premises. They have no college education and spend their whole time only doing what they are doing, besides CZcams it is just physical work. Also their subscriber base is not growing anymore, because the content is somewhat boring and slowly developing. So in the end it is an entertaining, but difficult life they have taken on.
Whatever at least we can enjoy what they are doing and learn a lot about cars as well as life. However they are living what I dreamed of (joint family, married, own houses, garages, beautiful cars, famous and many more) since 2007 just like my uncle at that time. Well, I think they are the opposite but a little same like Tate brothers and that’s what I and my brother wants to be . I agree that they are not that financially strong but still they are living their lives at the best. We can also take loan and get things just like them but you and I can’t take it cause we don’t have that much courage and capability to pay it off and however it’s is the only right way to achieve your goals in this modern economy. Even the elites do the same thing so why can’t we do it. It’s better we don’t sit here and spit out facts and waste our precious time instead we should focus on our lives and try to live it large until we die.

I really appreciate how clean these guys are when their work. Always make sure they are working in a clean area, clean the project cars before work starts.. I just like the focus on that.
On the other hand, they tend to install dirty parts (including interior parts) and clean them only after the project is almost finished. The cleaning seems very superficial, as there are tons of dirt and dust left in all the nooks and crannies, especially of door panels. Yeah, I'm really passionate about car detailing and what they call 'detail' in their videos is simply an abomination.
Their friend VTuned's attitude in this regard is much better - he wipes parts BEFORE installing them in a car.

Goonzquad Ranch would be sweet no doubt! You should also consider getting another shop to store your favorite completed builds and free up some more work space. Maybe set up a Goonzquad Experience that allows fans to tour the facility and check out the builds! Great vid as always guys, keep up the great work!

That farm looks so nice. Sounded quiet! If you guys get a race track, be careful, it's not worth getting hurt or dying trying to do tricks and go fast... also those trees are worth a lot of money, a 60 foot by 16 inch red oak was over $2300 on a page I checked, that could be wrong, and a 30 foot one is over $1000, but I don't really know how to check the value, but you should look into the value of those trees before just throwing them away! nice Sunday Monday video! You might have to get an old airport or air strip if you want to do drag races. Also the real estate prices are going down and will continue to drop for the next 3-10 years! Not the best time to buy... but if you have a ton of money and don't care if it's worth less in 3 years then it doesn't matter but I don't know anyone who wants to lose on an investment. Best to wait out the real estate, maybe rent a drag strip until the prices drop an start to recover.

I was wondering if anyone else was Gonna say it. It’s so invasive, and if too close to your foundation, it can actually uproot the foundation. Impossible to get rid of also.

Bamboo is really invasive - there are pictures of bamboo growing through concrete foundations and into brick built houses before blowing through the plaster into the rooms here in the UK

When the tree trunks start to decay, that whole is going to appear again. It happened in my yard, but it was just 1 stump. The dirt will slowly sink.

Awesome piece of property for sure! In regard to restrictions, if the property is outside the city limits, then you have a lot less restrictions for what you can do with the property. Going to the mayor won't be a factor, but county commissioners would be called if someone wanted to get laws or restrictions put on an agenda for commissioners to vote on.

Unfortunately you are correct. I have had it happen. Takes a few years but the sink holes pop up once they rot

Hey, for Simeon's estate, have you guys planned sod yet? You should take a serious look at zoysia grass. It does really good and even better than any summer grass. In winter, it is like a golden carpet, in summer it chokes out weed and once established, drought tolerant.
Zoysia is awesome but needs full sun to thrive.
That land is an excellent investment idea and has endless possibilities. Like seeing the developments on the new house, looking great. When is the new paint booth coming in?

Looking good guys! One thought, and this is definitely not criticism, one thought that you may have had by in case you didn’t burying all those stumps, as it rain you’re gonna start getting an cold as dark dark but I am. House is looking amazing.
make sure you plant native trees and plants that are better for the ecosystem that wil do the same thing for you as far as privacy screening. gotta support local wildlife :) also dont cut down too kmuch of the grasslands, the tall grass gives cover for smaller animals like snakes rabbits etc and will also help with the insects like bees to spread pollen adn keep the property lively
you could do controlled burns for your dirt track, that will give nutrients to the underlying soil and helps the environment as well instead of just mowing and chopping up all the plants before they can drop their seeds

I'm in southern Louisiana, and in my area, It's about 2 -5 years, and you'll end up with some serious "sink holes" that you'll have to fill in... after that organic material has decomposed...

I’d love to see more of this type of content, car content is fun too but this is much more entertaining. Having a breaks between each build would be best in my opinion that way you can get everything ordered and once all the parts arrive you start the car content. But property content is where it’s at 😅

Vtuned got himself a wrecked 2022 Corvette. Atleast some content today then =)
OSHA here. Your arrow sign above the fire extinguisher is 1/8 of an inch to high. The eye wash sink needs to be either tan or light brown, white is not allowed. Also, you're using the entrance to your building as an exit as well. You will need to add at least 14 more doors using half of those as only exits. You have 30 minutes to comply or we will have no choice but to remove the roof and send you the bill.
The buried trees will decay and break down over time and create voids under the soil. You will eventually have a yard full of sink holes. Also bamboo will absolutely take over if you don’t keep a very close eye on it. You should check into these Thuja Green Giant trees. They are awesome.
