The smallest member of the BMW GS Line is the compact G310GS. This bike has many of the features that have become the standard for adventure motorcycles and Touratech offer suspension upgrades that can make your motorcycle adventure even better.
With three options available you can truly customize your comfort and experience with Touratech Suspension for the G310GS.
    Touratech Suspension upgrades include:
    • 55mm Lowering Rear Shock and Spring Kit
    • 35mm Lowering Kit
    • Standard Fork and Shock Spring Kit
    Standard Height
A Touratech spring kit is a quick and inexpensive way to dramatically change your BMW G310GS’ handling both on and off-road. The progressively wound springs for the front and rear suspension give you a plush ride at slow speeds, but when the road gets rough, or you decide to push hard in the corners, the springs are much firmer towards the bottom of the travel where you need it the most.
TOURATECH 35MM LOWERING KIT, BMW G310GS
Replacing your front fork springs with our progressively wound lower springs is a less expensive alternative to having your suspension’s travel reduced and installing shorter springs. No modifications to your forks are necessary to run these springs. They work by using a very soft spring rate for the first 35mm (1.37″) of travel, and a normal progressive rate for the rest, giving you a suspension system that is 35mm shorter underweight, but normal length unweighted.
The rear shock mount provided in this kit lowers the back of the motorcycle to match the front. It can be installed without removing the rear shock spring which eliminates the need for a spring compressor and makes it easier to install in your own garage.
TOURATECH 55MM LOWERING REAR SHOCK & FORK SPRINGS KIT
The lightweight and nimble BMW G310GS is fun and easy to ride, but the seat is too tall for many riders. This suspension lowering kit reduces seat height and boosts rider confidence by making it easier to touch the ground. We reduce your seat height 55mm (2.2″) by utilizing progressively wound front fork springs and a shorter-length high-performance rear shock. Not only will this kit lower your motorcycle, but the spring rates and special damping settings of the shock will dramatically improve the handling and deliver a more confidence-inspiring ride.
The progressively wound springs for the front suspension give you a plush ride at slow speeds, and when the road gets rough, or you decide to push hard in the corners, the fork springs are much firmer in the bottom portion of the travel where you need it most. The lowering feature of the springs is achieved by using a very soft spring rate for the first 55mm (2.2″) of travel, and a normal progressive rate for the rest, giving you a suspension system that is 55mm shorter when under load, but retains the full active-travel.
The rear shock provided in this kit replaces the stock shock to lower the back of the motorcycle to match the front. The shock is built by Hyperpro and features a better spring rate and damping for most riders compared the under-sprung OEM unit on the G310. The spring preload on the shock is adjustable to achieve the correct sag setting to match a wide range of rider weights and luggage loads. Modification of the side stand may be required to match the lowered motorcycle.

This is great, has anyone had this installed in Bangalore, India. If yes, which garage did you use?
@Touratech this product will be a huge hit in India if you can tie up with BMW dealers or local bike mechanics/garages to install them.

No, I just got used to riding the bike as is. 35 mm reduction in height would be great though. Let me know if you succeed in modifying your bike.

with the -55mm kit, will the bike be lowered under no weight as well?
Or will it only be lower to te ground when there is rider weight on the bike?

    • @TouratechUSA
      @TouratechUSA  Před 10 měsíci +1

The -55mm kit will be lowered all the time since the shock is replaced with a shorter unit.

@@relaxingsoul1611 Everyone has different preferences, but we believe the 55mm would be too low for your height. We would suggest either the -35mm or standard height spring kits.

These springs will be much better than stock for that kind of weight but if you can find a place to make custom spring rates for you that would be even better still.
