  • Using a spring compressor for the Installion a new progressive coil spring from Touratech on the stock (strut) shock of an F750GS. It lowers the bike and retains the ESA feature of the suspension.
Removal of the strut from the bike required removal of several components, including bodywork.

Since I’m considering this modification for my ridiculously short inseam, I appreciate this video.

This was done for someone who wanted to be able to touch the ground but maintain the functionality of the active suspension

@@RideQuick that’s me too. I was thinking about getting the low chassis version from the BMW factory but it would require me to give up Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment. I discovered this option as an alternative and I definitely prefer it. I’m going to buy the standard suspension and get the extra low seat. I can manage it like that but will prefer to lower it an additional 1.2 inches with the hyper pro springs lowering kit.

Hey guys ! I noticed today on my bike r1250gs that the inside spring dust cover is rotating ( spining ) right and left when i try to move it with my fingers . It doesnt want to go up and down tho. But as i saw from your video there is like a neck on the bottom of it where u secure it with 2 seals on the bottom . Does the dust cover part is visually seen from the bottom of the suspension or it hides in between these 2 rings ? I ask tham because the spring is rubbing on the cover and i am afraid if it broke the cover and rotates left and right or is it normal
