- Today we eat at a Hawker Centre in Singapore with Nadia Vega! Specifically we’re checking out Lau Pa Sat (also known as Telok Ayer Market). It is home to a variety of international cuisine, including Filipino, Thai, Korean, Indian, Japanese food and more. Nadia satisfies her roasted chicken craving as I get a rainbow of bao. Lau Pa Sat is a really expensive Hawker centre! Locals don't visit Lau Pa Sat much actually. Next time you should try Old Airport Road Food Centre, Maxwell Food centre, Amoy Street Food Centre, Tiong Bahru Market and Food Centre or East Coast Lagoon Food Village. Hope you get a chance to visit Singapore again and try more food!

The dots on the buns help us differentiate them! And we usually tear the char siew bun apart before eating them (well maybe im the only one). Also the broccoli is usually eaten with rice, maybe that's the reason why it's saltier than how you normally eat them. :)

mina, you should come by singapore again during the ramadhan period. there’s a big bazaar going on at geylang serai selling loads of street food and the bazaar is huge! you will be able to soak up the festive season vibes too. it only happen once a year though and each year it happens on different month.

lau pa sat is a very touristy place to go.... real good food can be found at places like maxwell & ahmoy food market :)

9:02 i missed out AGAIN! never knew "husband's biscuit" existed. "wife's biscuit" usually comes with mung bean filling that is either sweet or salty. i think there might even be a version that has lotus paste like filling.

The accommodations are pricey compared to neighboring countries, but it's a very clean and safe place to visit. Even girls can party until 3am and walk around alone at night without being scared. I don't encourage it for anywhere in the world, but it's an example!
