I would die to see this for myself and it would be like entering the gates of heaven with the voices of angels to guide me. Soon I will see them live. I must.
Just had the incredible pleasure of seeing them the first time at the Hartford, CT ritual and it was SO GOOD. I wish I could live in those hours. Can not wait till my next opportunity to see them.
These fair folk have and have had their ❤️ hearts and their souls in their feet. For wherever they went they Blessed Mother Earth with songs, dance, laughter and, joy...😊😅😂
We’ve lost our ancestral traditions/ways and it’s time we bring it back finally. This is what our ancestors did and just like every culture who partakes in their ancestral past we should also.
@@quixotiq it literally is what our ancestors do i guess you’re talking just to talk. You don’t know that some of their songs also have real dead languages and rituals that they try to copy to the best of their abilities
What an amazing ritual this was, never been as exhausted after any gig. Just phenomenal! We were 3rd row from the front, stage right. Was transfixed by the guy with the red painted head! Cant wait for the next ritual
I was there for this amazing Ritual I'll never forget, everything connected with my ticket revolved around the number 3. I knew it would be a Magickal night 🌛🌕🌜
The very first person out is using a fan to bathe the elements of thr stage, and later the people, in smoke. In north American indigenous traditions this is usually called smudging. The smoke is made by burning what are usually considered sacred or medicinal plants and herbs. In my particular background usually this means cedar, sage, sweet grass, or tobacco. Bathing things and people in this smoke is done to cleanse them of various things. Usually with the intention of making sure the space/people are considered ritually clean and can move forward in the ritual with the right headspace/intentions/vibes and no negative energies remain to interfere. Then the band takes the stage, they are smudged, then they pray and open the set.
It's a concert/pantomime and production consisting of a group of people from Germany, Denmark and Northern countries. The introduction is a purification ritual, the songs consist of different types of singing, languages and sing about Norse and Germanic mythology. The instruments are used to "bring a primal" feeling to the audience. The band itself is called "Heilung", in German for "healing".

This is a modern reimagining. Nothing ancient about it.

Great bit of stagecraft. We all respond to ritual as emotional magic regardless of belief.
I was there I will never forget this just brilliant absolutely speechless after!
Yeah same here. Was an amazing experience
What a ritual this was, one I’ll NEVER forget 😭
That's two of us then, somehow, I get the impression we are not alone in feeling this 😉🤘
