Very stiff focus In Leitz Leica Elmar f=5cm 1:3.5 ( M39 )

This old Leica Elmar f=5cm 1:3.5 for the M39 thread, had a very stiff focus. At first, I could not at all move the focus ring, so I use A LOT of lighter fluid to try to soften the old stiff grease, but the only thing that helped was to use a hard piece of wood in a form of an arrow, and a little hammer, to gently nock the focus ring to move.
Don't use a screw driver direct on the focus lever, it will make some marks!
I then clean the focus helicoid's with Isopropylalcohol 99% and the re-grease with "LIQUI MOLY" LM47 and it turned out to be very good.
