Metroid Prime: Hunters 100% Walkthrough Part 20 - Oubliette, Boss Battle Gorea, and Credits

- Here is a walkthrough of Metroid Prime: Hunters for the Nintendo DS. I am using a 3DS capture card to record the footage. I am getting a 100% completion, so I will be getting every expansion and scan in the game.
I go to Oubliette, find some scans as well as the final Energy Tank. I then go on to face Gorea. Be sure to shoot the colored panels in the order I did (as mentioned in the Alimbic Prophecy: yellow, green, orange, blue, purple, and red) to be able to get to the next phase. Gorea can be hard at first, but once you're used to it, it'll be easy. After defeating the first form, both Gorea and Samus are transported to a different area, where Gorea is impervious to all of her weapons. You need the Omega Cannon to destroy it once and for all.

When i unlcoked this planet and read the info on gorea that is around the game, it gave me chills and i was kinda scared of finding him in-game lol
I closed the game because I was scared to find out about gorea being used to just slenches and cretaphids. I waited sone days before launching the game again and completing it
What would’ve made the battle against Gorea more interesting is if Samus, Kanden, Noxus, Spire, Trace, Sylux, and Weavel teamed up to defeat it.
At the cutscene when they break Gorea's prison, i really thought "Nice, seems like these guys gonna help me beat this junk". Then they died and i was like "The hell? Now i gotta fight this bitch alone?".

@@hendrasaputra6213 They don't die. After you beat Phase 2 Gorea you can briefly see their ships flying away.
@@THEGRUMPTRUCK And Sylux was in the secret endings of Prime 3 and Federation Force and will be in Prime 4 with how things are set up. Let's hope we see the other 5 Hunters in future Metroid titles in the near future!
Yeah they just get there abilities stolen they don't get killed
It would be awesome, but let's be honest. When you hear about a powerful weapon that may change the course of your life if you are able to wield it. Not many people will even think about sharing. A few of the bounty hunters had ample cause to find it, but after fighting each other multiple times, especially against Samus, some of those guys won't consider teaming up. Sylux has no reason to team up with Samus especially.

Yeah me too. I think the zero suit itself leaves a little to be desired, but kudos to the developers for not using cheap bum-shots like in Brawl.
Very interesting, this is why at the credits it showed me "gorrea undefeated" and was like wtf!, but its until the second phase of gorea that the battle is determined as completed

I’m literally doing the panels in order and then I try to shoot the colors opposite like blue to red so I can get his shoulders. It’s like these barely do anything and when he goes into the sun orb form, he barely takes damage to what I do. I die before I can farm health & more missiles. how do you farm when you need stuff? Anyone have any advice, I’ve been doing this like 20 times?

bosco lam They were all saved by Samus, but Sylux hates toward her and the Federation was still there, and the last Metroid Prime game will revolve around him confronting Samus, the producer also said that the ship in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Secret ending was Sylux ship, and Federation Forces plot is an ultimate weapon that the space pirates found (which obviously is Omega Cannon and Gorea).

They are still alive.
I seriously hope we see some Sylux in future, and it's totally possible since it's been hinted at.
Though I'd love to see more of my personal favourite Trace :p

+Swag Hammer if you just kill gorea without the alimbic prophecy they all die (even samus). If you complete the alibic phophecy by shooting the stuff in the wall and using the omega cannon and all that then all of them escape

After killing the final boss, Samus leaves its lair as it explodes. When she did, she got a vision from the dead alien people who proceeds to wipe her memories of her time in the game but unfortunately they didn't wipe our memories of this god awful game

You didn't do the sequence with the panels. I did it at the beginning of the battle (5:27). If you did it properly, you should get a transmission from your gunship.

yo this is fucking amazing but who did I never hear about it before I was really really little when I beat the game and at the end I didn't get all those color things you're supposed to shoot with each of the weapons I just killed him and the ship exploded...
Gorea is underrated
I can't get to the gorea 2 I only can do gorea 1 how do you get to gorea 2
You have to shoot at the colored objects around the outside of the arena in the right order to get the true form of the final boss which is nearly invincible to all but one weapon and it is the omega cannon and it was so powerful that it was called an abomination by the ones that made said weapon and it is the only way you can damage the boss.

It's revealed in the Alimbic Prophecy 01 to 08 lore entries that can be found throughout the game.
"It is written that the Alimbic power shall materialize when six frequencies shimmer in the divine spectral sequence.
In the beginning shall the darkness be torn asunder by a flash of Yellow Lightning.
Yellow Lightning shall strike with demonic fury upon the Greenwood.
With a voice of thunder shall the Greenwood burst into an Orange Blaze.
The Orange Blaze shall die away to be reborn on wings of Blue Smoke.
Tendrils of Blue Smoke shall weave the geometry of Violet Crystal.
Violet Crystal shall shatter the heavens, leaving in its wake a Red Stain.
When the Red Stain shall vanish, so shall the ancient Alimbic power be manifest."

YES! The story mide is painfull is so boring lol. The multiplayer is really where the game shines
Even though it's the worst of the Metroid games, it's still better than a lot of games I know of. Cool ending.

That's true; it was an extremely ambitious project, so I'm willing to cut it some slack.
+WalrusEternal The single player? Ok, I'll agree it was weak compared to other Prime games, but considering the console (also early on into DS's life), I think it did a great job. There's still plenty of areas to explore, beams to acquire etc.
What makes me really love this game was the online multiplayer. I know it's not for everyone, but it was definitely a key component of the game. They made all Hunters playable just for multiplayer. Must've been high on their priority list during development.
Only console elitists believe that this game is the worst.

Obviously emulated. Maybe TA too. (Huge giveaways there.) Still, many thanks. Having trouble with those colours at the end. Nintendo always thinks everybody has perfect vision. Case in point, followup system: 3DS. Jerks.
If you read the description, you would see that I used a 3DS capture device, not an emulator, to record footage. Can't even tool assist on a console as far as I know.
