@@stephenpgibbs I have tried Cajun. It alright. Cajun is not typical American flavor either. I have read a little bit of history bout Cajun cuisine. I have lived in US and visited UK. The worse the neighborhood, the better the flavor 😂

They used not to be like that. The used to make them in house fresh like Bojangles and even Hardee's. They were really good back then. Especially right out the oven.

That's why you mix the mashed potatoes and gravy up then place a dollop on each bite of the biscuit.

Tyler is my favorite. His facial expressions and quick one-worders are hilarious..."Succulent"😂😂😂😂😂
Tyler's delivery of "It's very dry" was so hilarious . I like how they call the “chicken sandwich! a “ Burger”.

The kiddo that added some fries to his chicken burger is really embodying the American spirit 😂🍟🍔 he would fit in well in the US, haha we'd be happy to have him 🇺🇲😄

He elevated his spice tolerance by double after that day lol
That guy couldn’t even handle basic spice how brit is he 💀
hahahhaha
Different heat. I hate black pepper but scorpion and reaper are nbd
As someone who also considers black pepper pretty warming/spicy i can relate 😂 when i tried medium heat on salsa/chicken etc it was like it tingled every cell in my body it was wild. Fine rarely but my body enjoys lemon and herb and "bland" foods which idk maybe were more super tasters than the people who have spoiled their sensitivites to the point that they need spice and such resistance is in their dna. But whatever i can live off dairy so being anglosaxon/celtic/nordic has its upsides that many f the spice eating people cant handle 😂
As an American, I apologize for them not giving you a caution before eating the biscuits without a beverage on standby lol

Then he picked up on the fact that the biscuit is dry (in the USA, they say if you want to kill someone give them a popeyes biscuit with no drink) is a testament to how well this kid knows food already. Well played, Sir.
Popeyes biscuits can vary quite a bit from one location to another. I have had them when they are dry - but I usually just crumble those into my red beans and rice.
On the flip side - I have had them right from the oven when they brush them with melted butter and they are incredible ! Sometimes with honey - sometimes with jam !

Texan here. I first tried Popeye’s in 1981 when we moved to Slidell, LA…near New Orleans. Still my favorite fast food chicken.
Dave: "I feel quite strongly about that." 🤣🤣🤣
Notice that one kid said "it's the best chicken I've had from a fast food restaurant" he's not taking any heat from his mom for insulting her fried chicken! Smart man.
I caught that too, you could tell he knew mom would watch this.Good save.
yeah, he ALMOST said the best fried chicken he's ever had, but changed it.

Well in the UK you literally can't even get the ingredients to make good chicken so its not the moms fault
Yeah, I caught that too😂
Putting fries in his burger was truly an American act 😂
Inspired by the burgh
we have something called a chip butty/batty/bap yk and we have sfc
I'm an American and I have NEVER done that! But I have added onion rings to my burger! Yum!
We have put the fries in our chicken sandwiches with BBQ sauce, but putting coleslaw in the sandwich is even better. I love Popeye's coleslaw.
Totally
Bro put the fries on the sandwich is on point he been here before.
"It's very dry".. Welcome to the world of Popeye's Biscuits. 😂
As a New Orleans native, it warms my heart seeing people enjoy our Creole and Cajun foods. The current Popeyes biscuits are so dry, you can use one to dry a puddle of water. Now, if they tried the old school fluffy and buttery Popeyes biscuits up until the 90's, they would have definitely been asking for more.
The biscuits were better growing up.
As a New Orleanian also, I completely agree
you could drink those biscuits
I usually get Popeyes chicken but then I'll get a Bojangles biscuit
popeyes is definitely something i'm getting every time we're visiting fam in the states but i've never had a dry biscuit yet.
(it's the absolute best when you arrive and haven't slept for more than 20 hours, being massively jetlagged and getting a whole table full of popeyes classics.)
maybe our perceptions of dry are different? i thought they were super buttery.
or popeyes in other states make them differently? idk
As an American I agree with the kids that it’s better than kfc lol
Without a doubt 😂
Yea and American kfc is so bad they removed the wedges and Nashville hot chicken the good things there
The spicy chicken sandwich is a game changer though.
@@idkaname3973I do like both but when you're craving that kfc coating it can't be beat.
Every American with a sense of taste does. KFC does not care about their American market anymore. They profit more overseas while having higher quality.
I rewatch this every once in awhile to see the absolute joy of them experiencing this amazing sandwich.
"It's very dry" 😆

Which is wild to me, because nothing on the Popeeyes menu is spicy to me at all. In fact, there was nothing really within the fast food realm that was labeled "spicy" that ever really was spicy. Even when all the ghost pepper and other spicy chili pepper craze was popular, and fast food joints were incorporating them into their food, those items weren't even that spicy as well.
