The only reason “Lays” name still exists is for marketing reasons otherwise “Lays Crisps” would have been dissolved years ago. The Emblem on the packet started with “Walkers” in the Uk then later “Lays” adopted the same concept. American Crisp brand “Lays” virtually copied British crisp brand “Walkers”. Walkers, a very successful crisp brand that Americans wanted to copy and bring over to the States due to its success in the UK and amongst their American Soldiers. Lays is a horrible name for a crisp company and can see why “PepsiCo” want or wanted to get rid off it. “PepsiCo” own both brands now.

Im Canadian and we have most of these here (dairy milk, aero mint, bounty 🤤, terry's orange, cadbury egg) but i didn't know they were British. The tea cups ressemble our whippets and the double decker i feel like its similar to our snickers. Always asked myself, when you make young british students try american fast food, how do you do that? You buy it in the US and bring it on tge plane and warm it up so they can try it the same day? (or next day) Or you bring the kids to the US?

If I recall correctly from what I've been told, you wouldn't have any 'true' Amish people on any video. It conflicts with their beliefs to be on tv or video and to have their pictures taken. At least that's what I remember from conversations with friends here in Pennsylvania who know and are familiar with Amish families.

@jolly I’m not Amish, but I did visit this huge Amish Market in New Jersey, called the Columbus Farmers Market. They had everything. An Amish bakery, Amish bbq, Amish candy store, Amish cafe, Amish sausage rolls, etc. It was absolutely massive and all completely run by the Amish. It was a bit surreal to order a lavender iced latte from an Amish girl. Everything I tried there was delicious! So so good! And beyond the Amish market is a labyrinth of other random shops, I literally got lost. If you ever end up going get everything in the bakery, I had this Jalapeño spicy bread that was divine toasted in the morning with butter.

There is an Amish buffet in Sarasota Florida called Der Dutchmen. The food is great, especially the fried chicken.

I love real iced tea, but I think it tastes better unsweetened. Certainly more refreshing.
