    could you post a video about reps for body weight training
    EX: if you are trying to get big or shredded & the reps when training for static holds
    ( i wont to know every thing about reps & the rest time in between please )
    ALSO when you are doing body weight training is it better to do full body training every day ? or every day for a different muscle group like what the do in the gym like body builder
    THANK YOU :)

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  Před 8 lety +2

      +ahmad helal As a general rule, 1.5-2 minutes of rest between sets is perfect for muscle building, you can take longer rest periods for serious strength work(like 3-5 minutes). It depends on personal genetics, but the repetitions between 3 and 8 build muscle just fine. 1 to 3 repetitions is excellent for strength.
      In the beginning, full body training or upper/lower body split is the most effective way to workout but eventually you can do push/pull or body parts splits.

    • @ahmadhelal8959
      @ahmadhelal8959 Před 8 lety

      +Vahva Fitness thanks alot that really helped but is it ok to do push ups , pull ups , squats and dips every days only body weigh training ( talking about muscle recovery )

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  Před 8 lety

      +ahmad helal It's possible and can be good in a short term but in a long term it becomes less productive. I'd recommend working out every other day that way.
