Thank you! I made the hat tonight and your video made it much easier! I loved the velvet ribbon on yours, I did not have any but used satin for the bow in back.
Amazing craftsmanship! I like how you used a light blue pencil on the green for tracing and cutting, I would have never thought of that. Really well done, it looks great!
Thank you for sharing this tutorial as I really want to start making hats, I love wearing hat's and I'm very excited to have found your channel and subscribed to you hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙☮️🌹 stay safe from the pandemic madness we are all going through
I like it both ways once you trimmed the brim. Before the trim it definitely didn’t suit your fine features; it overwhelmed your face. It looks great (and I’ve been a hat person since 1980 with Lady Di/Princess Diana when we lived in England!)
I'm a bit flustered because you're using your measurements. I don't see the brim pattern. It would be helpful if you started by measuring your head and teaching exactly each step before you start cutting. Thank you for your time in making this video perhaps in the future you can make a more detailed video which shows measuring the head for the cloche. J'adore les chapeaux, merci.
Thank you so much. Your hat is so cool and you look great in it either way. Do you think it might work with fleece? I have a lot of it on hand, but no felt.
O zi frumoasa.
I would recommend transferring the pattern image to Microsoft word, enlarging it to fit standard page size, and printing it. Then the rest of the process should be easy :)
Thanks. I went old school and traced the pattern from my laptop screen! I made 2 hats so far and am having so much fun. I screwed up on the box pleat, but I got creative and the hat looks fine. Thank you so much.
Would that TV & movie costumers would/could make a hat half as accurate to the late 20s as you have done. The hat (which is as beautiful as it is well made) looks fine on your face. But, please, if you're not going to crop your hair 1920s short (not expecting that), then please, hide all that casually, anachronistically loose hair, front & back.
I'm glad you're here. Thanks!😊
The velvet ribbon was a great touch.
Thanks! I literally found it at an estate sale and immediately knew I had to use it.

I’m so glad!!!
Absolutely gorgeous ..well done ✔x
I followed these directions and made two hats, the first one I accidentally made a little bit too small, but it still came out great! I love them!
It looks great! Thanks for the tutorial
Love it. The ribbon made all the difference, really made the hat.
ADORABLE!
What a lovely little project! I might try this. I think if you had a "period appropriate" hairstyle the cloche would look better.
Beautiful hat, plus that green color is gorgeous!!!!!!! 🥰
Wonderful talent! The ribbon and brim trim made it time period authentic!
I love it. Great job.

It looks great! I do like the brim trimmed down as you did. It frames your face beautifully. I'm going to try it!
I love everything about it and it looks beautiful on you missy! The green is lovely with your hair!
Excelente chapéu. Lindo.✨

Wow, where'd you get the pattern? And what kind of felt did you use? Wool always itches my forehead.

I’m stumped on drafting the brim pattern. Any suggestions?

Can this be done with liquid stitch?
I don’t see why not. You could definitely try felting the seams of you don’t want to sew them
Where did you get the pattern?
