  • Many people have trouble identifying when tomatoes are ripe and ready for harvest.
Harvested too early and the tomato is hard and flavourless. Harvested late, and the tomato may be watery and flavour compromised, as well.
In this video, I share tips for harvesting the ‘Brad’s Atomic Grape’ tomato. When ripe, the flavour is sweet and juicy and definitely much better than its unfavourable reputation.

What is the secret to grow these tomatoes? My Brads always die. People say they dont like water, but I have been extremely carefull and all my other tomatoes are fine. My Brads germinate just fine og look healthy until they start to develop their frist true leaf, then they turn purple and after that they start to curl and the leaves fall off one by one from down and up. I used 5x5 cm pots and gave 20-30 ml of water every third day (I even weighed the containers to make sure they actually were dry). Temp 23-25. I use LED lights with adequate PPFD and they are on for 16 hours. I don’t understand what I do wrong.

This is my first year ever growing anything. A gardener pushed me to try growing tomatoes and provided everything from the grow box to the tomato plants. That being said, the plant is growing like crazy and there seems to be a lot of tomatoes on it. The thing is, they are all green. They are growing green slw stripes fo green. I would say different tones of green in some cases olive. And as they grow they start off like the solid olive green and then they start to get their stripes in. None of them have gotten any purple on it as of yet but some have gone some red to it but by then they cracked and was mushy and it was done. That was within a day. Now, we have received a lot of rain. So me being a novice and this happening I have no clue what to do when it's right because I'm not even getting the colors like all the videos and articles are saying I'm supposed to get. there's nothing but green and a few times it starts to turn red but then it's all of a sudden soft. Any advice?
