Defoe will be a great coach. As a player he was always striving for self improvement, even on his own time, watching videos(of matches) and looking after his body.

The thing about pausing spurs games is you’ll see undogie and porro in attacking midfield but you’d also see that sarr has dropped into the right back role or bentaciur Hojberg droppee into centre back to cover

should do everything he can to absorb knowledge from Big Ange. Would love to see Jermain go into Management. Not a spurs fan (celtic fan), but always loved Jermaine as a player and person.

Defoe should start at attacking coach. What a clinical striker he was, I think a lot of attackers could learn so much from him

I reckon Sonny's basically player coach role at this point in his career considering his age compared to the rest of the front and squad.

I don’t care what colour anyone’s skin is, if they are capable of the job, then they are in the mix, and Jermaine is a top player… if that translates into management, I would love seeing him on the touch line

Not wanting to sound glib here but in the EPL it's not so much colour of skin but also a bit of a Euro/Anglo bias as well. Just look at Ange, being Australian is an even greater impediment to the job.
Break down the barriers however you can. Talent and suitability to the role should be most important

Defoe was amazing to watch! Dont think he ever scored that many tap ins....hes usually twisted the defender to pieces and runs and shoots and hits the back of the onion bag (net) more often than not!

Yes there are very few black managers but in the 60's there were hardly any black players so things can change, it will take time.

6:40 Ange has been coach for 30+ years, And now only got a chance to coach at the highest level. Its going to take more then 10 years if you want to coach unless your lucky or gifted coach.

The population of the UK is 81% white and 4.2% Black. The rest is made up of others mixed ethinic groups. From the top 92 teams in England this accounts for about 8% of all managers that are black. So it is slightly about the population average.
