He makes me love Tottenham more
Defoe will be a great coach. As a player he was always striving for self improvement, even on his own time, watching videos(of matches) and looking after his body.
Hell be a great example to young players eh
Prime Defoe scoring 40 goals a season under Ange 😂
That's just in the league 😆
Wouldn't be offside as much
Definitely
So underrated. One of my favourite strikers of all time.
What an absolute legend
Big Ange🍀❤️
You can see he has so much love for the game..and dead serious about his end game..
Agree with him it's not about colour of skin it's about ability obviously the chance has to be given aswel
Jermain Defoe, he is a yido🎶 Hopefully manage Spurs one day!
Defoe what a legend man, him and Robbie Keane up front 🔥. Also pure respect for what he did for young Bradley lowrey. Amazing human
The thing about pausing spurs games is you’ll see undogie and porro in attacking midfield but you’d also see that sarr has dropped into the right back role or bentaciur Hojberg droppee into centre back to cover
should do everything he can to absorb knowledge from Big Ange. Would love to see Jermain go into Management. Not a spurs fan (celtic fan), but always loved Jermaine as a player and person.
Everyone loves Defoe
Defoe should start at attacking coach. What a clinical striker he was, I think a lot of attackers could learn so much from him
I reckon Sonny's basically player coach role at this point in his career considering his age compared to the rest of the front and squad.
One of our best
Defoe and keane were deadly!!
Crouch was no slouch either lol
I don’t care what colour anyone’s skin is, if they are capable of the job, then they are in the mix, and Jermaine is a top player… if that translates into management, I would love seeing him on the touch line
Legend for spurs. Massively under appreciated by most, one of the greatest goal scorers to play the game
Defoe and Keane made me love Spurs!!! COYS COYS COYS!!!!!
It's like saying there are not enough Chinese coaches, native American coaches, Indonesian coaches etc.
Spurs legend!
Not wanting to sound glib here but in the EPL it's not so much colour of skin but also a bit of a Euro/Anglo bias as well. Just look at Ange, being Australian is an even greater impediment to the job.
Break down the barriers however you can. Talent and suitability to the role should be most important
Defoe was amazing to watch! Dont think he ever scored that many tap ins....hes usually twisted the defender to pieces and runs and shoots and hits the back of the onion bag (net) more often than not!
Where to watch his documentary
Love JD manage our club
J.D
Youll be fine.
Its about communication. You communicate very well. Any young lad coming into the game would be foolish not to listen to you
Can’t mind Defoe ever playing against ange
Yes there are very few black managers but in the 60's there were hardly any black players so things can change, it will take time.
I still think Defoe off the bench would scare the life out of any premier league defender.
Damn right he would!
6:40 Ange has been coach for 30+ years, And now only got a chance to coach at the highest level. Its going to take more then 10 years if you want to coach unless your lucky or gifted coach.
What impact ?
He’s thick AF. Ange back off his players and has a strict structure, Jermaine just doesn’t understand it
The population of the UK is 81% white and 4.2% Black. The rest is made up of others mixed ethinic groups. From the top 92 teams in England this accounts for about 8% of all managers that are black. So it is slightly about the population average.
A coach who never understood the offside rule?
Very silly aren’t you
@@joered3579 Defoe? Indeed.
He knows the offside rule.....he was just too quick if the ball was passed/released too slowly for him!
@@indianastones6032😂😂😂😂😂
Great interview until Race comes into it yet again! People are people not matter skin colour! Stop making it an issue!
The thing about pausing spurs games is you’ll see undogie and porro in attacking midfield but you’d also see that sarr has dropped into the right back role or bentaciur Hojberg droppee into centre back to cover
