Hopefully we can keep him fit. I always worry about the super quick players, as they unfortunately tend to pick up lots of injuries. Hopefully if he stays fit, I reckon Spurs will end up having the two best central defenders on the planet.

@@chrispistle899No his limits. Don't over exert him, as most injuries are cause by fatigue. Cardo work. Provide him with the proper stretching exercises to increase flexibility. Strength training. Appropriate warm up and warm down schedules and tickle your balls for good luck, to name just a few.
Such a great interview ... the Aussie bias in the interview is great we often just don't get that and as Mark said people get up 1am 3 am to watch their teams in OZ he asks interesting questions and a lovely thoughtful young guy Micky I like him a lot and wish him well at Spurs .. his childhood idol PUYOL love that too !! more please !!!

This lad has been a breath of fresh air for his first season,I’ve been very impressed with the ten matches he played until that moment when he got an injury which was very unfortunate, we missed Micky terribly; but in terms of his speed, I was very surprised by his speed of percentages and becoming the fastest player ever in the premier league,that is mad.👍👏

Someone please put this guy straight. You don’t watch the games mate, VDV smothers opposition attacks. Dias is good but lacks some pace, John Stones is a great passer and very smart but looks so good because he’s in City’s possession system. There’s a reason Liverpool wanted VDV and still regret not getting him.

As he improves his aerial prowess, VDV will be able to start for any team in the world, especially the high line teams. Man City, Liverpool next to his compatriot VVD, even Real Madrid.

The Dutch are incapable of lying in my experience and they are driven, goal-orientated people. Mickey is top-notch. He will be headhunted in the summer, but that's a compliment to our team. He's 22, that's the scary part.
