Where will Spurs finish under Postecoglou this season GFOPs?!
4th
3rd
5th and maybe runners-up in a cup this season. The following season probably top 3
Anywhere from 5th - 8th.
@@maitlandbezzina2842 Maybe ,would be nice .
I’m a United fan but it’s nice to see a proper manager talk the talk, and have substance.
I’m in exactly the same boat😂
It's easy to talk good, season hasn't started yet
shown signs of progress very early on they have a right to be optimistic or at the very least excited@@mindfuldex
.... LEEDS UNITED?
@@jcanyiam8309 I’d sooner die. There’s only one United and we’ve been in the Premiership every year since ‘92
I'm from Melbourne Australia and extremely proud that Ange is doing us proud. Totts, you lot are going to win something big under his leadership. Mark my words.
Proud Melbournian here as well, Ange is such an absolute legend.
Celtic fan, we all miss him like fuck already. I have two teams, Celtic and the Celtic reserves but I’m rooting for spurs now. Guy is a fucking diamond. 👍
Yes, and is great to have a head coach who is proud to help Tottenham, rather than a egocentric like Conte
I think when news broke of Ange's move to Spurs, Spurs got a few 100,000 extra fans in Australia.
I live in Melbourne and I know his history and legacy in Soccer (as it is called in Aus). But here's the thing ... I'm a Rugby man. Ange's reputation crosses all sports in Aus.
Also, I'm originally from Brisbane and what he did for Brisbane Roar defies everything. Brisbane was the epicentre of Rugby League and Rugby Union until Ange put soccer on the map in Brisbane by taking Brisbane Roar to the top. I wish the Queensland Reds RU could find such an inspirational coach.
I and a few thousand Aussies will be supporting Tottenham Hotspur FC just because of Ange Postecoglou.
Big ange definitely has the media buzzing. Been a spurs and roar supporter since I started following when the A league first launched. Never thought I'd see the same Australian manager get my 2 favourite clubs but here we are. Brisbane to me despite being nrl dominated (it's my favourite sport too) the acceptance we have across our teams in different leagues is great. Everyone is buzzing in Brisbane and rooting for the other sport. Nrl fans are excited about the lions looking very strong to see Brisbane take out trophies in multiple sports this year.
Wallabies doing it tough, mate.
@@Dripikdrippydipsdropkicksto right dude 😎 another Aussie here go Spurs
@@waggafletcheryeah since Ange left Oz most of our sports have crumbled
Any Spurs fans who aren't on board with Big Ange, need to get with the program. The beginning will be rocky. But once the squad grasp the concept, they will be very difficult to beat.
There were doubters at my club, Celtic. They wept when he left.
Go get 'em, Ange.
hell yeah!!!!!!
needed the assurance, especially after the kane news, thank you
@@nicoles_handle
I have felt since day 1 of his appointment that Kane would be out. That doesn't make Ange finch one little bit.
Spurs are selling HK for what? £90 million? Ange will pull the strings behind the signing of three players for £25 million each (of whom most Spurs fans will have never heard). Those three players will combine to exceed Kane's output (likely, by a wide margin). Mr Levy will have £15 million left over to give to other players, staff, the kit man, and the bloody bin man (as well as stuffing his own pocket).
That is what Ange does. He did it at Celtic Park. He did it in Yokohama. He did it in Brisbane.
FYI: he always starts rough - precisely because he tosses every shiny toy out of the pram before he gets the new ones to cooperate. But they always learn, and right quick.
Get ready to sing songs in the pubs and terraces about players whose names you haven't learned yet. By March, no one in the Prem will want any part of Spurs.
@@kentgrady9226 Calm yir jets. Yes, he'll improve them a lot and the fans will enjoy the style. But there's loads of good teams in the EPL. He had no one to beat but Rangers up here. And yea I'm another Celtic fan interested to see how he'll do.
@@BeatPoet67
The depth of quality is the reason I did not make bold predictions about top four placement, silverware, and deep ECL runs.
I said they will eventually (provided he gets input into signings) be difficult to beat and entertaining to watch. I stand by that, and don't find it an outlandish statement in need of jet-cooling.
Appreciate the research and skill of the interviewer in providing Ange the space to speak so freely.
Really impressed with Ange , actually I’m really happy he’s with us at Spurs.
Yep, enjoy the ride.

Tremendous interview with a world class manager who defines the job title
Ange is here to change the game AGAIN! I love this mans energy and the way he approaches being a coach and a leader.
Another Australian that makes me proud, Go Ange!
A brilliant interview. He’s a breath of fresh air Not just for Tottenham, but for the premier league. Guardiola said pre season that Ange would add a great dynamic, Celtic fans said the same. As a league we are lucky to have him, as a Spurs fan it’s incredibly exciting.
Im subscribing ..one great interviewing man talks to one great manager ....one GREAT INTERVIEW ...EVERY SPURS FAN NEEDS TO SEE THIS ...THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU ...😢😢😢
I’m in my 40s jaded spurs fan who had all but given up on Tottenham and more specifically ENIC and Levy running the club.
This guy has me listening and watching again. There is something about him, his Aussie no bs attitude, belief in what he’s doing. He has me believing before the first real game!
It’s a huge job and probably big ange’s biggest challenge because spurs have failed to win anything for so long.
There will be turbulence and we will take some horrible results this first season I’m sure but I urge all the pessimistic and fickle fans to give Ange a chance. I really believe he can get us pushing forward and looking up again.
He’s the real deal and I believe he will be a massive success at Spurs. The football his teams play is magic to watch. 🍀
One month later and we’re looking really good !
I'm a massive Ange fan and have been since the first day he walked into Celtic Park. The man is a genius in terms of football and an amazing person. Hail Hail your welcome back at Paradise anytime.
Hahahaha you celtic fans wanted rid of him until Gerrard suddenly left and everything was all good ehh then the following season rangers had 16 first team players out injured,he had it easy and his out way at celtic but got found out in Europe very quickly
@mindfuldex He got found out in Europe because he was managing Celtic, not a decent EPL club. He just made United look stupid.
@@mindfuldexpoor deluded Hun. 23 trophies in eleven years. So , what happened there? Wee Gio got shown up in the Europa final. And you couldn't beat our weakest team in a full hunnery on Sunday. But hey , you all think Beales a master tactician 🤡🍀🏴🇮🇪🍀
@@toddhellyar4167are yes , the English league where 68% of the players are foreign. Tell me , why has no English manager won the premier League? Two Scots have. Moyes won a Europa cup last year, an English manager hadn't won a European trophy since the eighties! But two Scots have! The English, so shit everyone has to do everything for them. One last fun fact. Celtic , Aberdeen, Rangers all won trophies in Europe with teams led by a Scottish manager and eleven Scots in the sides. No English team has ever managed that feat. In fact , they always had three Scots in their sides 🤡🍀🏴🇮🇪🍀
@thigearlatha Muppet. What does the nationality of players have to do with it. Muppet. I support Celtic when considering Scottish football being a lower standard. You are right, Scottish football is the best in the world, because there are Scottish players. Och aye sonny boy, you got all defensively patriotic without comprehending the point. Keep your clown emoji handy for yourself mate.
I loved having him at Celtic, and, although I'm pleased to have Brendan Rodgers back, I'm sorry to see him go. I really wanted him to have another shot at the Champions League with the Hoops.
Good luck Ange, I know you will be a success down at Spurs!! Loved your 2 years at my beloved Celtic F.C 🍀👌
As a spurs fan i think its disrespectful to say Ange is going up a level coming to us and the prem , as 1st off why would we want him in the 1st place if we didnt think he was a top manager plus why would so many fans from all his old teams that hes managed give him so much praise hes a top manager everywhere hes gone and i fully believe hes exactly what we need right now his passion of the game his philosophy and style , please levy respect this man and give him the tools he needs to succeed as every spurs fan i know have faith and belief in this man dont F it up . COYS 🐓💙p.s great interview and channel 👍
I agree mate. Soon as we got him I learned about him & I reckon this guy is Daniel Levy’s dream. He doesn’t demand the top players for the top dollar, he unearths the hidden gems at reasonable prices. Spurs will take off & fly under this man, sooner or later.
@@davidbeeson9408 correct pal 👍 plus he gives the youth a chance unlike Jose and Conte, players like Dane Scarlett,Harvey White and Spence will get chances ... BUCKLE UP!!! Exciting times for Tottenham, so looking forward to Ange ball!
This was a really great interview!!! The questions were on point!, and no interruption and let him answer his questions to the end. Nice work, you’ve gained a subscriber
He fills me with confidence, his attitude is calm confidence and he has my attitude to how he wants football played. I loathe passing sideways and backwards all the time. I understand keeping the ball but keep it in the opponents area trying to score not pass it back to your own goalkeeper.
What a life in football. Good luck, Ange & THFC. Thanks for another great interview, Rog!
I really like Ange, they've got a good manager, he's exciting
That first question and answer let's you know everything. This working mans game is handed down to kids naturally, and I love feeling that from him. Did the same with my 4 kids and understand how it feels. He isn't a man for money
I'm an Aussie Forrest supporter but a huge Ange Postecoglou fan. Great intelligence, no rubbish attacking approach and honest under the camera's eye..Team man too
Hi Rog,
Fantastic interview. I just need to point out when you were listing Ange’s coaching achievements you missed his greatest one. He coached The Socceroos to The Asian Cup title in 2015. This is arguably the high point of men’s football in this country. A phenomenal achievement.
Just another one under Ange.
Ask Timmy Cahill about him.
There is A LOT of love for Ange down under mate. And wherever he’s at, well, we get on board!
COYS and can’t wait to hear the Postecoglou chants ring out!

Thank the football gods for this man.
Couldn’t believe it when he left Celtic. I don't know but I have an gut feeling that we can win a trophy with Big Ange with his Ange-Ball Coys.

Thanks to Ange - "We got our Tottenham back!"
I am officially buzzing about this man.
Good man. Wish him well.
Spurs fan here. Already love the guy.
Big Ange is amazing, but credit to the interviewer too! Amazing questions that brought out insightful quotes from the gaffer.
Hi Ange
We will take the rough road, just promise us that you give your heart to the club, the way we have.
Of late it was obvious some managers felt they were too big for us, but they weren’t, they just thought they were.
All we want is a manager who loves the club, and only wants the best for it. That in itself will bring the playing squad along, admittedly after some fine tuning.
So take the rough road and get us back on the highway to success after a year of planning the route.
Good luck mate from a lifelong Spurs fan now domiciled in Oz.
You ain't seen nothing yet ! He's something special.
We are used to bumpy rides at spurs we believe in you Mate
Get a few guests on zoom and this is your life is back 😂 love it brother 👍
What a great question about keeping communication simple, because of the need to have it simultaneously translated into 3 other languages.
A brilliant lesson!
The more I here from this guy the more I like him. COYS
No matter what Ange touches, do, creates he turns it into gold, forget these high paid high strung egotistical Managers who are all about themselves. Ange know more about the game then all of them combined, he is a genius and as a ManU supporter I am so jealous!!!!
I love how the interviewer looks like he’s doing an Alan Partridge impression during the bits where Ange is talking
Incredible

I remember these guys from way back at grantland. Sorta lost interest with the NBC deal but love to see they are still doing the business. Also, COYS.
BIG LOVE NICK!
What people don't realise is that there is and Ange number two in the wings in Kevin Muscat. Very simular mold to Ange having started his coaching career at Melbourne Victory as Ange assistant. Muscat has won thropies at Melboure Victory after Ange with a similar playing style. Has already won a Championship in his first year in Japan following Ange and is on his way to win a second. Muscat has an Aussie prescence about him simular to Ange's no nonsense aproach. They are close friends and still keep in touch. Watch this space.
South fan, and Liverpool fan here. I think I remember Muscat playing for Wolves. And I'm sure he was pretty good there. Like him when he is interviewed. ALL the best. YNWA
Pity Muscat did,nt follow Ange at celtic
Good luck at spurs ange
Graham Arnold is another top Aussie coach. far better competition for Ange than much of the premier league managers will be.
Muscat the butcher!
Spurs gratz. I think you have a great coach.
GOAT
At last! A human as manager! Im sick to death of egotists, who overwhelm each day with their own personality over the clubs.. Grew passionately fed up with defensiveness overtaking ourhistorical DNA. Let's startenjoying the game again..
When Big Ange says "mate ' to the media, he is pissed off with them. Have a great season Spurs fans. Celtic supporters wish you well. Give him a chance.
yes, there are levels of 'mate'
Nice interview. Interesting questions re communication in Japan. Also, I'd love to think we got a "credible third place in the 2014 World Cup group of death" but we didn't. Played well but came last. Not sure it was burnout either in 2018, just finally got sick of Australian Football's total lack of ambition.
But also he didn’t mention Ange won the Asian Cup. Finishing in front of Japan and South Korea. So he won Asia’s equivalent of the Euros 👍
Absolutely! Football Australia's goal was to avoid embarrassment at the WC, while Ange's goal was to win the whole thing! Like he says, if you're not on board, then "see ya later....mate!"
Interview skills well bonafide as always - the EU awaits ya’lls return w/open arms & books audited 💪🥂
If Ange is brave enough to get rid of the players we all know are not good enough he will be a success
He will get rid of players HE thinks are no good. I say that as in the past he has kept players who other coaches would have let go and then they have delivered for him.
Have no fear if they don’t follow his way or talk of leaving they WILL be gone no matter who they are .
With THIS guy, top three. An Aussie that gets the job done! No "whingeing" and takes no prisoners!
Ange will be slapping the badge and has always been a spurs supporter the way he did at Celtic.
Good questions asked there Mr interviewer.
I'm trying not to get too excited! Spurs for 31 years and i"m pretty much done with the club and wish Levy and ENIC would feck off! But this guy draws me in, such a decent honest bloke, I just hope working with levy doesn't ruin him!
Come on Ange!
From today I am a Tottenham fan becouse of Ange! At last a coach how can speak football language
l love how he calls everyone "mate" 😂😅... come on big Ange
I think he's do well at Spurs but it will be a rocky transition. We still need a huge clear-out and to start filling the pipeline with young, hungry players.
I'm a Liverpool supporting Australian and all I can say is Good luck to Spurs, I hope you have a fantastic season except when you're playing us and this is the guy who I want to replace Jurgen when the time comes.
Just watched the video of Postecoglou and am very impressed, should I be worried 🤔
Make them eat their words Ange!
It's very distracting to have that Tracy Chapman album cover in the background, as it's one of the best albums ever made. As for Ange, over the moon that he's in charge of our club. Hope he gets the Centre Backs he needs for his system to work. Van de Ven is a great start, but we need more of that calibre at the back because the high line Ange employs relies heavily on the centre backs
I found the can of Bud Light far more distracting
