It was an early pacesetter in English football. Yet won six of its seven titles by 1910. And six of its seven FA Cups by 1920. They should have an historical roll of honour, at least on a par with Arsenal, if not close to Man Utd and Liverpool.

Villa realistically only ever needed 1 point from the final game. Spurs chance of making the top 4 was probably 10% at best. They threw away top 4 over the last 4 or 5 games. Getting destroyed by Newcastle and Fulham away ended the top 4 for them. They only beat Forest and Burnley (2 of the worst teams in the league) in their last 7 matches, losing the other 5. Seeing Villa get that point the day before crushed them mentally. We lost twice to Chelsea. Brighton, Fulham and West ham beat us. We drew and lost to Arsenal. Everton held us. We only just beat Burnley ffs.
He didn't care when we went out of the league cup. Where was his winning mentality then? What about the FA Cup..not too fussed then either. Losing to Arsenal..not bothered it's just another game..he says. We lost 4 in a row. Leaked goals for fun. Did he play Dragusin..nope. changed midfield everywhere rather than formation. Then he changed that midfield in the 2nd half..all of it. Not only once. Son left, middle then right. Johnson left side. Didn't work put him on the right he scored and assisted. So Ange put him on the left again.
