This is definitely Mariah singing on this track. She disguises her known phrasing, and it’s tone. But this is Mariah letting rip, vocalising the angsty fire she’s heard with other grunge vocalists from the 90s. I don’t blame her for experimenting with rock, and trying something new. Mariah is Generation X, my generation, and grunge was a revelation to me. I still love it.

She can disguise her signature vocal style, but the harmonies, the riffs, the belts, are all her. The lyrics are gold - they are hillarious, real, and unapologetic. We get the secrecy behind it and why, but it’s high time for this little gem to really see the light of day.

She has the original with her lead vocals and she might release it in the future.
