She doesn't have to be perfect to be considered non problematic. Compared to other entertainers with instances of scandals, addictions, assaults and worse I'd say she is non problematic. Even though her first divorce was a little messy, it was in no way as crazy as some others, including the current one with Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.
Terrific interview. Love her humour (yes, I am a Brit). Her song writing and her talent as a producer - and for me, the dedication to her craft, re-recording vocals for the dance mixes, should be just as lauded as her vocal talents. Incredible woman.

She came before Janet. She was the first to break the rules and let women have a voice that wasn't dictated by men. She was brave and pushed all the boundaries. Her influence was very important in it's time.

Mariah was not feeling this interview, and I don't blame her. Jimmy was callous and disrespectful - it was game over when he made the joke about singing "happy birthday" to Jesus. Mariah is a woman of faith - that joke was in bad taste. However, she's a pro - and held her own throughout the interview. Clearly she was ready for it to be over.

In the Philippines, Christmas starts in September because it's the start of the BER months, and the song that hits the stores is All I Want For Christmas - that's every September 1. Even Mariah Carey tweeted about it this year.
And even the OPM Singer, Songwriter and legendary Christmas icon, Jose Mari Chan also but he mentioned about Mariah Carey because he said in an interview that he showed about a meme where a mashup of Christmas In our Hearts and All I Want for Christmas is You but he said that doesn't want to duet with Mariah because of the voice differences, but his wish for Mariah Carey to cover some of Jose Mari Chan songs that he composed (e.g. Beautiful Girl, Tell Me Your Name, etc.)
