- This miter saw dust collection set up allows me connect it to multiple different tools, has easy clean up, and doubles as a mobile dust collection system as well.

Aye bring the nerd out. Overview is good.
Show us the bigger dust collection system. I’m interested in sing the micro switch setup!
Great timing for me, building a mitre saw station at the moment and I was considering a hood. You’ve changed my mind! Love the idea of using the Cen-Tec hose system, I just got the starter kit and a spare connector pack - awesome!
Браво молодец👏👏👏👏
I like it! Well thought out system. Looking forward to more.
Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your dust collection setup.
Please can you tell me what collar ring you are using to click the Cen-Tec / CTS QuickClick Click Ring adapter into?
That's exactly what I'm after but I've not found it for sale...
Cen-Tec Systems 95248 Quick Click Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set for Dust Collection, Black a.co/d/dwhG4l5
I’ve purchased two of these kits now. As well as two hoses of different lengths. Hope that helps. I know vacuum hose fittings and connectors can be a huge pain. Hope you have a great day!
@squareandlevel7912 Thanks but I'm referring specifically about the adapter/collar you have on the ends of your mitre saw hose (2:55), cleaning hose (3:04) and extension hose (4:22) that the click ring clicks into to join the hoses together.
The link you shared has the click ring adapter and the tool adapter set that plug into it. Can one of those be used as a hose extension collar?
@@Size15s I understand what you are asking now. I’m sorry. The rubber part on all the tool adapters can be easily pulled off. The collar part can then be pushed inside of the hose. It is a very snug fit, But not threaded like the click connect part is. I then wrapped the collar part and hose with some black duct tape so the blue ring won’t spin causing an air leak and it helps hold the collar in place on the hose. Not ideal but does the job. The cleaning hose actually uses a tool adapter with the rubber piece still on it, pushed inside the hose. I honestly don’t remember where I got the hose from. I have an entire bin full of odds and ends vacuum attachments. It can be infuriating trying to fit this stuff together. I hope this explains it better. Otherwise I’m sorry. That’s all I got. Thanks for the questions. Hope you get your vacuum attachments squared away.
@@squareandlevel thanks - that makes sense. CTS make a 3D printed QuickClick "Hose to Hose Extension Connector" but not a female version of their thread Click Ring adapter - perhaps someone can design a 3D printed version?
Edit - there's the makings of one on Thingiverse called "Cen-Tec-compatible custom quick-connect coupler" by funkenjaeger
