  • Just hours after the Rwanda plan passed parliament, French media reported that five migrants died while attempting to cross the channel this morning.
This comes as the Prime Minister says nothing is going to stand in his way of getting flights deporting asylum seekers to Rwanda off the ground.

The only alternative solution would be for the UK and France to agree to open a joint asylum processing centre in Paris. We would take a yearly quota and everyone one crossing the channel would be put straight back on a ship and transported back. They would be told to apply at the centre and stop wasting their money. Another solution could be 'asylum swapping', where Britain swaps it's channel crossers with a security checked but randomly selected migrant from a randomly chosen European country. That would have the effect of putting the people traffickers out of business. Who is going to pay ÂŁ3000 when they could end up in Germany for example. The key is to take control back from the criminals and those that think they can just go where they like ignoring the law.
