  • Hello everyone, thank God it’s Friday! I’m thrilled to share this new video with you.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been discussing Harry and Meghan, and I’ve noticed some misunderstandings about my views.
In this video, I’ll be dedicating a segment to clarifying my thoughts on the Sussex Duo once and for all.
But that’s not all! I’ll also be diving into a subject that resonates with many of us: loneliness.
This topic is incredibly important, and I’ll be sharing personal experiences and reflections on what it means to feel lonely, especially as we get older.

Harry said in an interview that he did not know how bad his life was until Meghan showed him.. if Harry’s life was so bad why is it he was always smiling but since his wedding he is always sad or mad looking. He also said he did not know he was racist or that his family was until Meghan explained it to him . He said it took her a long time to convince him because we are not a racist family -but she taught me about unconscious bias and that was hard to accept too but I am learning. If Meghan is Black why is it she has gone by white her whole life-her drivers “license, her passport, up until she got with Harry? I don’t think Meghan’s time with Royals was her feeling they were being racist , I think she created the story for her purpose. For one she stayed away from the Royals most of the time,. No matter how often Princess Catherine’s parents involved Meghan and Harry to bring her Mom for dinner Meghan turned it down. Just like turning down the Queen , and Prince Charles wanting them all eat together , Meghan made excuses -one excuse was her Mom is shy and doesn’t want to have to talk. In saying all this is to say I think we don’t realize mechanics of all that is Meghan’s World.

Harry always wanted to leave even before MEGALIAR entered the picture..being in a family bubble such as the RF was not his thing. He was always in trouble due to his antics. ( RF covered many antics that we’re not aware of) His drinking and drug abuse caused SOME of his bad judgment. MEGALIAR only helped push him out she wasn’t the main ingredient! She wants the money and fame but not the work of being in the RF.. Harry too! Unfortunately due to their irrational behaviour and lies they are not as interesting as they thought they’d be .

@@user-zt9xz3ng8sI must disagree with you. The RF was glad that Harry chose a half black woman to marry. They (the RF) thought that would be his choice one day. He always loved Africa. I expected it myself. The RF looked at it as a good thing & a way to bring new blood. After all they’re cousins with the rest of Europe! Megan never considered herself to be black. I think it was an insult in her mind to suddenly have MSM speaking of her as half black. Aside from that Megan was a little spoiled brat and when her ideas of modernizing her husbands family didn’t go her way she immediately started making racist comments. I think she had a plan all along to try to be the Queen. As a person she couldn’t imagine why the Queen wouldn’t let her live in Windsor Castle & co-rein with QEII. The press were very welcoming at first, and the British public were pleased that Harry had found his "true love" at last. Most people had no idea she was biracial, I thought she was of Latin or Italian heritage. The tide turned when her true character emerged, and her total disrespect of the RF was obvious.

A true addict he hid it well. Somehow I managed to sort finances and got him rehab. But instead of getting better he got worse. Harder drugs and more alcohol. I had drug dealers knocking on my door looking for him. I had no choice but to move away completely to protect my kids. They settled quickly and made new friends but I struggle to let anyone get close to me. I’ve locked myself away only venturing out to food shop. 1st Timothy 6:10, it states this message.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows …
I believe Rachel and Harold are currently in today. Everything they touch or try to start fails or ends in some type of sorrow as in American Rivera Orchard ( no products), Netflix about to give them the boot, Spotify, ( label them grifters), just to name a few they always leave behind a lot of broken hearts or disappointments as in family while chasing the dollars.
I agree with you in regards to loneliness. It would be nice if everyone made an effort to gather their loved ones young or old including family friends and spend time together, may it be a shopping day together at the supermarket or an event at some theme park with the families or lunch at some eatery, fast food or restaurant, including home cooked meals, my family does this lot, one member would say but I am mad at my brother today, our reply would be see you there and we don't care if your mad at your brother today, just looking forward to seeing you both there. Family loyalty is a feeling instilled by the parents' choices, and the "walk away" choice is also instilled in their kids, and then those parents are shocked that their kids walk away. My family members would often use the phrases, "They are a good family" or "Well, she's part of the _____family, you know," to indicate where the good or bad behaviors came from. Instead their behavior shows entitlement, lack of talent and laziness. Allow me to mention also: The lack of responsibility... everything is because of "the other''. About loneliness... Perhaps it is related to Mental Health, the world today and caution. As always, it is a pleasure to listen to you!

Miss Donu, I’ve found a different form of loneliness-debilitating chronic illness. Surrounded by family who loves me, but I can’t enter into their lives. Often bedridden due to the constant fatigue, they have to go about their lives, while I watch. It’s like watching a movie. My biggest fear is that they will move on, since I can’t be there for them.

    • @lavdejeva9079
      @lavdejeva9079 Před měsícem +4

I am sure they will never move on and no matter the life they have to live they value you as the most wonderful blessing.
My Kody was disabled and it was hard to work and after work to take care of him. He was trying to be helpful, of course, but still... At times, if I was unwell as well, we would lie down/sit and simply touch our fingers as we would have no energy to even hold hands :-) His presence alone was happiness. I did not complain about any hardships, well, at times about lack of sleep, and I hope he did not take it the wrong way... I would gladly agree to even harder conditions if I would be able to have him back...
No matter what your condition is, people who love you love you unconditionally and you will always be a blessing to them no matter what. I hope they can remember to remind you more often because at times it is easy to be too busy to express our real feelings and another person may think it is less than it really is.

I don't date married men and will never do so because I saw the damage it causes from watching my parents marriage break up because of other women. It is an experience I would not wish on anyone.

Hi Donus, I am 68, In my formative years, as a child, I was brought up in Institutional Care, (Aussie),, I have been Married had children & divorced, ,, I am on my own now, & I toss up, between Being Lonely, & being happy, being alone,, Strange,, Sometimes I am very busy, with social groups & coffee with friends and at other times, I have periods of not having any outings to go to,, I must say I do like coming home & closing the door on the world in general & just having my own space,,, I do like going out & meeting up with friends & people, but there are times when , that isn't possible, as friends have their own agenda, so sometimes I have to wait a while, before catching up with them,, it is these times that I feel alone,, & I will then either get to work on some quilting , cleaning or gardening just to pass my time,,, I also think, as I get older, I don't want to take on new people, as I can't be bothered putting up with any bullshit, & I myself am not perfect, so I can't be bothered being rejected either,, sounds strange, but that's the way I roll. The world is a crazy place, some say it's getting worse, but I think, if we look at history, human kind has not really change at all, these days, it is just hidden, under the guise of sophistication. If we had really moved on. then we could just look in peoples eyes, listen to what they say, accept their soul, & they accept ours,, simple,, Simplicity is complexed in it's simplicity.

Donu, it's lovely to hear your chats.
This was my life a decade ago:The parents I had moved to this rural area from a lively urban town to care for had passed. I lived alone with two little dogs & didn't have any real friends in the area. One cold, blustery, SNOWY eve, I prayed, telling God how lonely I felt. Suddenly, in the tapestry I had been looking at for 3 years & had only seen the floral scenery, the face of Christ became prominently visible.
Today, at 70, I have a church family I adore, who shower me with hugs & love. I now can be as social as I can tolerate. After surviving health issues in the winter of 2022, I was left with a calling to paint. I've been told I should sell my artwork, but honestly, Donu, it gives me too much joy to give it as gifts.
My point is to surrender your life to God & you'll be amazed at how his perfect will will work in your life.
    May God bless you. ❤

Your comments lonliness touched me as I too have similar feelings. Who would imagine that one can be alone in your older years. Im 56 and do enjoy my own company but as you say, getting older and finding a suitable partner does become harder. I'm sorry for your loss of your Ghanaian friend. Having someone like the "Oprah and Gail King" frindship is rare. So loosing someone like that must have been devastating for you. Ive had and have many good friends but none that I could talk to daily like that. Ive found that your social circle often changes when friends marry, have children etc. You no longer seem to have commonalities and friendships tend to become more distant. I agree with your views on how WhatsApp has affected our connections with people. Its just so much easier to send a WhatsApp than actually call and speak to someone. Hi Donu, really enjoying your videos. I’m an old lady from South Africa. Just looking at the photos of you as a young lady, how beautiful and full of life you were, well you still are !!! Please don’t be so hard on yourself, you have gone through the most horrendous life changing trauma and still pulled yourself up and carried on. Losing your lifelong friend is heartbreaking, I know I’ve lost two. There are lots of people who feel isolated, and as we age sometimes we feel it’s too much hassle to make new friendships, it’s very hard when you’ve lived a productive and busy life to retire and find yourself in different circumstances.
You have a brilliant mind and a wonderful sense of fairness, so Donu I’m sending you light and love and looking forward to your next video. ❤

The Voice of Reason today Donu! Commiserations on your friend - love comes in many forms ❤❤❤💔💔💔My father and I spoke very often and we were extremely close - my Aunt says we were old souls together or soul mates - his loss 11 years ago was and still is devastating.
The comments around "black meat" - OMG how awful...thankfully I haven't seen them as if I did I would get myself into a fight! How do people actually press "post" on these sorts of comments are sick.
Loneliness can be literally a killer. My sister has just been widowed after 33 years at 60. Thankfully she has two funny old cats to keep her company as she is far away from us. We didn't speak for a few years over some family interference which has saddened us - thankfully we are past that. We now speak most days, if not at least 3 times a week. My time is a small gift I can give her - my life is blessedly very full, busy, interesting and I have a loving husband, 3 kids + 3 step-kids, many friends and she just has the cats and contact with the local shop owners. A smile when you pass someone in the supermarket or a quick few words in the aisle might make that person's day...
Have a great weekend Donu...and I hope you have "connections" x

I really enjoyed your reflections on what it means to be single in a world of couples. I divorced in 1982 (with four children to bring up) so I have had plenty of experience of not meeting the right person for a 'comfortable nice kind of relationship'. Plenty of affairs but nothing that would stand the test of time. Now, at an advanced age I would say the secret to old age is being solvent but not affluent. This provides a continual interest in where to get things you need for not much money. I have, personally, always found huge solace in animal companionship, their affection and the physical activity of walking for more than an hour a day. I have had a beautiful friendship for the last ten years with two other single women and we have seen each other every day. Now there is only the two of us and perhaps not for very long. I also do most of the DIY in my house and get a lot of pleasure from maintaining my house. And, then, there is the intellectual side of things - crosswords, reading, newspapers, CZcams, etc. I'm 80 but I still have it in me to look forward to the future. Now I have a new pleasure - listening to you, Donu, so Thank You.

Hello Donu, I am so pleased to have found your channel. Your calm and eloquent manner is a pleasure to listen to. I was widowed four and a half years ago, having been with my husband since the age of sixteen. I am sixty eight now. I listened with interest to your thoughts on loneliness and can say hand on heart that I never feel lonely. I would never consider bringing another man into my children and grandchildren’s lives. Their father and grandfather was too beloved. Even the youngest granddaughter, who never knew him, speaks about him as if she did. I consider myself blessed to have good and loyal friends and a little home that I love. If I can share my thoughts with anyone, it would be this; find joy in the small things in life, don’t expect too much from others but be generous with your time and friendship. Giving brings so much happiness. God bless.

Donu, i feel so sad for you about your soul sister. I lost mine to breast cancer. I talk to her picture every day. I also lost my son which I'll never get over. I too know other people but it can never be the same. Currently i am a carer for my hubby as hes a heart patient and has slight dementia. When all these things happen you just see how everyone disappears to lead their own lives and you no longer are a part of their lives. This shows me how fickle people really are. A life lessson on how to be alone in your old age. I like being on my own now as its too hard for me to read people and see what they are actually like.

I agree with you. My soul sister was my bff since we were in early school together. She died of colon cancer. I was her hospice nurse. We were quite a distance apart so I told her to call me when she needed me. Her father helped me get through nursing school. He said he did it because her he knew I’d take care of her when she needed me. So I went. We did the things she wanted to do to complete her jobs. Return a pair of pants for her. Get some things she always had on hand for her husband. And so on. As she was passing I sang part of Andrea Bochelli’s Time To Say Goodbye. She loved his singing. I still talk to her & many times I feel her presents. It’s a blessing.
New friends aren’t the same. But I have a few that stick by me through thick & thin. I can stand my own company, but it’s nice to be alone most of the time. I’m not pressured to carry on a conversation & if I get the blues I’ll get out & do something to make myself laugh. If it truly is bad, I give it to God & I get peace.
I’m never alone because He’s with me. Donu you have touched me in wonderful ways & I thank you.

Claudia was a beautiful girl. Rest in Peace dear lady. I lost a soul mate best friend and it was just the 1 year mark a couple weeks ago. We grew up together, lots of hijinks, had periods of fall out as we grew and changed but we always patched up differences. Her energy was playful, and men worshipped her because she was gorgeous. She was a hard working Virgo woman that did not suffer fools gladly. I know how you feel Donu, it hurts very much. I allow my sad episodes but try not to dwell as I worry about keeping someone’s spirit earthbound when they should be moving on , and hopefully up. Thank you for listening.

Thank you for your brutal honesty and for being such an excellent role model for women of every color. ❤ I’ve been married for 44 years. I went through years of loneliness and finally became… “used” to it. I’m okay with it. My husband is very occupied with his career and it’s okay now. I have my own work, but it is not as much a part of me as his is. But I think we all face loneliness and must face it as we grow older. I’ve lost 4 of my 5 brothers tragically, and at almost 72 I’ve lost many friends & family. It could be loss of loved ones prepares us for our own death and gives us wisdom to face it without fear. Honestly it’s very difficult to trust people to be authentic and open.

I love your thought process and how you explain the negative behavior of Megan during the interview with Oprah. You are absolutely right about Oprah giving her some advice instead of letting her go on and bash the Royal family which happens to be her in-laws. Oprah could have put herself in a better light had she acted like a role model for Meghan.
