- rue Story: Fortune Teller saw My DEAD Grandmother standing behind me and told me her name!
Did he have for real supernatural powers or was it just a crazy coincidence?
In this video, I share some super-WEIRD experiences that I am people I know have had with psychics and a Juju priest, both in London and Nigeria.
Can anyone predict the future accurately? Is it OK for Christians to visit clairvoyants?
Let me know what you think in the comment section.

Never use a Oujia board.
I had a similar experience when I was much younger. Scared me and I never went to another one. How could they know such things? Now I am a serious Catholic so I just accept what is to come. I think you're awsome. The only good thing about H and M Nigerian trip was I found you. Thank you. I love your podcasts. From Sacramento.😊 California 😊
I went to go to a woman who lived near us in the late 1980s when I was in my early 20s and what she told me about my life was so far fetched from what I believed my life would be! And every word she spoke came true! There are a lot of fakes out there but also what she told me no one would have predicted.
Love your channel and content, its like listening to an old friend.
I’m a former tarot reader. I do not do readings anymore because I personally believe a lot of it is a combo of con artist and behavioral profiling. I was too honest to con people. Better to save your money and get a therapist or a coffee.
As for the predictive nature I would tell people you can’t plant watermelon seeds and expect squash to grow. That’s a different lesson.
Funnily enough I gave it up decades ago for the opposite reason! A couple of readings came horribly true and I got unnerved. I realised that often it's better NOT to know, especially if there's nothing you can do about it.
Clairvoyance is a gift given for specific purposes and has no bearing on beliefs, race or custom. It is our social settings that have brought in the practices of clothing, charms and other paraphernalia to set them apart and has no bearing on the power.
My gift is fortelling the future, cautioning and healing. I have never made any effort to expand the power or draw attention to it or earn from it because that was the direction given to me.
I deemed my advancing years was reason enough to shut the flow. Also many are required to experience the cause and effect of actions, without cautions from us, for their own saving grace.
I enjoyed the lady detective book, that was a pleasant reminder.
How awesome that you were blessed with such a gift, Mari! 🙏👌 I'm a little envious. 🤭😁
How interesting that your story is so very similar to mine. I would never charge anyone money for anything that people came to me for with regard to psychic gifts, either. I regarded that as a cardinal sin. However, I did train in psychology and became a psychotherapist at a later date. I am now in my late 70's and long retired.
I also really enjoyed the lady detective books, which were serialised into episodes for the radio.😊
@@merineyit Thanks. My background is economics and finance and I'm now reading philosophy for pleasure and studying all religious scriptures. Peace and Joy 🙏
@@mari3489 🙏 Amen 😊
Haha- no one keen to go first on this interesting topic. There is A thick book debunking all psychics etc and explanations on how they do it, yet, his final sentence was on a positive note for “a very few gifted psychics and truth tellers” that do actually exist.
Tea leaf readers, palm readers, tarot, throwing the bones, and the rest . In Africa, in my youth mainly.
Honestly, Donu, I have not ever believed in fortune tellers or clairvoyance. I have relied greatly on the advice of successful grandparents & mentors to help me become a better person. My siblings & I played with the Ouija board as kids, but I never really believed it. Funny though… I do on occasion feel the presence of my late husband, parents & grandparents… but I think it’s memories & missing them. That’s the thing about life, the loved ones who pass on before you are kept alive in our hearts. You still love them … and miss them. I enjoyed this video even though the topic is outside my beliefs. Thank you.
The British version was the wise woman or wise man living mostly in rural areas. My father remembered his uncle getting a charm from one of them to lift a 'curse' from his farm. It was something mysterious written on a piece of paper to be left on the mantelpiece above the fireplace. All the family were staunch catholics, but believed in the wise man as well.
Fascinating stories 🤗
The trouble with a fortune teller saying your marriage wouldn't last is that it puts doubt in your mind. Your subconsciously waiting for it to go wrong.
You are so right! I kind of lost faith in the marriage early on and perhaps didn’t try hard enough to make it work.
Thank you for sharing this experience. God bless you and keep you consistent Aunty❤
Thanks sweetheart. I just got home to PH today for a wedding. Hope to catch you and your mum tomorrow or Sunday.
@@donukogbara Please catch her She likes to stay in hiding. I will personally assist to facilitate that❤️
At a young age I was fascinated by fortune-telling, new age and the occult. I'm still sure some people have great gifts of clairvoyance and prescience. I even had very sporadic and minor abilities myself. It's no biggie, mostly it's of no practical use whatsoever. Also, it can in some cases open doors that are better left closed. Now an old woman I agree with your father. I have returned to the path of Christianity. I trust in God, and that's enough.
After you mentioned the psychics full name Peter Lee, I googled him. Sadly he died 9 years ago but was a psychic to the stars!
I'm not one to visit the psychic but I have a friend who loves to go. She's very into it. I like hearing her stories.
Hi Donu! Great chat...I saw a clairvoyant about 18 years ago when I was thinking of changing jobs - she told me I'd have a job related to water...I was thinking about applying for something with the local water authority but ended up working for the port corporation for 14 years! Have a lovely week x
PS I absolutely LOVE the Number One Ladies...
Interesting story Donu. You never fail in being interesting to listen to. Your father was a smart man cautioning you to stay away from fortune tellers etc. Deuteronomy 18:10-14 explicitly tells ALL of us to stay away from anyone practicing magic omens divinations etc! These practices are originating with the Devil. When you start seeking these practices out you’re displeasing God. In fact the scripture says it is detestable to God! Also as for the dead! They are dead! There is nothing happening from the dead. Ecclesiastes 9:5 ..John 5:28,29 tells us what will happen to our loved ones that passed away. So they sleep awaiting resurrection. They do not come back as scary ghosts etc. 🙂
I liked the TV show No. Ladies Detective Agency. I wish they would have done more. Thank you for sharing your perspective on the world.
Have also read some of those books and I agree with you Donu😊
I have seen Mediums and Clairvoyants some of whom were charlatans and others that made predictions that have come true or things about my and my families past that were true. I am actually contemplating going to see a medium as in the past 2 years I have lost both brothers (7-months apart) and my sister-in-law who saw a medium was told that my brother would come through for me next!
OH Donu, you absolutely HAVE TO read 👉 'Matthew, tell me about Heaven' BY Suzanne (Suzy) Ward. You will learn almost all there is to know about Afterlife and Souls and Creation etc. etc. Especially how almost every Religious CULT ( they are ALL manmade), including the Catholic one that I was raised into, but FORTUNATELY divorced in my earliest 20's, insist that anything and everything in this AREA, is of DARK intent ... which is absolute HOGWASH! MATT FRASER's books are also excellent, I believe, but Matthew's book covers everything anyway. I LOVE MATT, and Liz Cross, and all the Mediums on Channeling ERIK channel with Erik's dearest Mom, Elisa, and Donna Seraphina and more recently, Nicky Alan too. Of course there are many others who are excellent and extremely gifted, but those I've mentioned can all be trusted 100%.
Much love and blessings from Durban 🌞🌍🦈 South Africa. 🙏🥰
I love idris elba and i could see him in any role, anyday. Lol.
I went to such a guy, I had my youngest daughter with and we quickly decided that the psycic guy was a fraud 😳
My mom wanted to take me to a spiritualist church when I was about ten, her mom had just died and she was devastated. I am so glad she did not tell me at the time as I would have not slept I was so scared of those sorts of things. My dad intervened thankfully and would not allow her to take me, she did not go herself. Even now at 73 I am so thankful she was not allowed to take me who knows what things could have manifested from an encounter like that. I do not believe that those things are authentic because Satan himself can disguise himself as an angel of light. So many of these things are simply fake and those that are not are demonic. These people speak to familiar spirits that is why they can give information about the deceased.
PS: Isaiah Ch 8 verse 19. And when they say to you, "Enquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter," Should not a people enquire of their God. Should they enquire of the dead on behalf of the living?
Lev. 20 verse6. There are many scriptures speaking of the dangers of enquiring about the dead.
I am sorry for sharing this but I so agree with your father regarding this dangerous stuff. In England where I live there is a lot of interest in ghosts and supernatural things. It is very natural but also very dangerous and these people use your brokeness and grief to line their own pockets at lot of the time.
I’ve read some of those books.
The Bible is clear about staying away from these types of spiritual people. There source does not come from God !
The Bible is also full of contradiction , and Prophecy. 🌻
@@Emmajaymusic And blatant LIES too!
@@Annie-ZAi find the Bible fascinating! Beautiful Psalms and Proverbs. Wonderful stories of life and living and other times. Such hope, trust, solid belief etc etc Am aware verses are taken out of context, but certainly not seen lies myself-
To each his own! Peace!🌻
@@Emmajaymusic Exactly! I'll add that the bible has also been doctored throughout the ages, especially by the Catholic church to suit its own agenda.
@@mickey5779the bible wasn’t doctored.. it was some the churches that twisted the scriptures and added to them! God’s word is true and stands to time indefinite!
Donu…you sound lonely and depressed. No matter how low you get, never resort to the occult. Familiar spirits exist and like your dad says, pretend to be omniscient.
Do not be tempted. If you need spiritual guidance, get on your knees and pray to God, and seek good Christian fellowship
Did you actually listen to the whole video? She visited the clairvoyants years ago when she was much younger? She's just recapping her experiences.
Fancy SAYING that to someone...You sound lonely and depressed!!!...Shame on you!...She's SHARING her story!!...
